Our white water rafting experience down the Colorado River in UT was absolutely incredible, thanks to our guide, Nina! Her expertise, enthusiasm, and love for the outdoors made this adventure a blast. Nina's knowledge of the river, her passion for the environment, and her friendly nature created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She ensured our safety, provided clear instructions, and kept us entertained throughout the trip. We highly recommend Nina as a white water rafting guide for an unforgettable experience!

We did an all-day trip with Hannah and it was just incredible. We did our whole family including a 9, 13, 14 year old and everyone had a blast. Hannah could not have been better. Nothing was too much trouble and she always had a smile on her face. Would definitely recommend the company and Hannah!

What a great experience! This was my kids (10 & 13) first whitewater rafting experience. Luckily the water was just high enough that they were still doing trips. Our Guide, Rio, was fantastic! He was so good with the kids and, because we were a smaller group, even taught our son how to steer the raft from the back. Highly recommend!

Hannah was our guide and she was awesome!! The river was somewhat low, which was expected this time of year, but we had a great time - mostly cat 2's and one or two cat 3s. This was a father son trip for my son that just graduated college. Just my son, Hannah and me in our raft. Hannah did a great job directing and guiding - only got semi stuck once, while the other rafts seemed to be stuck much more often since they had many more people. I would highly recommend doing this again - probably in June or early July - and definitely ask for Hannah!

We had a great time with Abby. She was knowledgeable and fun. Our boat had all the experiences they warn you about prior to going while giving you safety talks but we made it and had a good time through it all. The water is cold so I was certainly thankful for the wetsuit and booties. I would book with these guys again no doubt, they're a fun crew no matter who your guide ends up being.

My wife and I went on the full day rafting trip on the San Miguel River with our guide Rio. He was fun, experienced, and made our trip as fun as possible. We both had a blast! Rio made us feel safe but ensured we had a great experience both in terms of the rafting experience itself as well as the playful banter and conversation when things slowed down, which was not often! We would definitely recommend Mild to Wild, and ask for Rio to be your guide if possible. We have down dozens of trips over the years, and this ranks near the top. Great for first-timers as well as experienced rafters! Do it!

Cody was an amazing guide on our rafting day. The San Miguel was a fun ride thanks to Cody. He has a masterful control of the river and kept us humming along. I’d definitely do this rafting tour again.

Thanks to Kyle for a great day on our favorite river. Water was fairly low but moved at a good pace, so we kept busy paddling most of the trip. Kyle was one of the best guides we have had in that he called out instructions clearly and simply, warned us of bumps and branches, and was fully committed to us having a good time. The San Miguel is a narrow non-urban river through forests and cliffs. You're surrounded by nature through the whole trip. We'll be back!

At the level the river was at (245? CFS) when we rafted the San Miguel river with our stalwart captain "Nate" .. this was a really tough trip. We experienced 22 miles of nearly constant easy but rocky whitewater. This required hours of constant navigating tricks on Nate's part. We are a group of 70 ish people from Bend.. we did our best but I think our age required Nate to work harder than usual turning the heavy raft around obstacles. We had a great time and recommend this trip highly - the scenery is stunning and the guides were all perfect.. we don't have any photos because we were extrmemly busy the entire time we were on the river. This is a rare river-treat.. it isn't often you can experience 22 miles of continuous but not too scary whitewater with delightful hosts.

My husband and I had such a great time with the entire crew of Mild to Wild Telluride: Kyle, Nate, & Hayden C! 👍Hayden was our guide for the day and made us feel safe and made sure we were having a lot of fun throughout the day. Highly recommend renting boots and wet suits- kept us warm in 45 deg waters, but it's a humbling experience getting on and off. 🙈 Also recommend wearing a polyester shirt (preferably long sleeve with SPF) to go on underneath. I had a long sleeve and just burned my face, the hubbs went total GGW and was topless and the result was brutal.🦞 Coming from Floridians- it's legit advice. These guys were professional, the gear was in good shape, and both legs of the trip were Class 1-3 and great for beginners. Highly recommend the experience!

OK, let's face it. A raft trip is mostly about the river. When it's moving fast, it's an awesome day. and the San Miguel was moving fast way into summer this year. But what Mild to Wild brings every time is a fun team that really enjoys their work, and really wants you to have a good time, whether the river is a torrent or a lazy stream. We've used different raft companies in different places, and they all know the safety rules and all have good equipment, but on the friendliness scale, M2W stands out. Sam was our guide on this trip, and she made us feel like part of her family. She figured out how active (and wet) each rafter wanted to be, and positioned us accordingly. We got to know a bit about her, and she took interest in us. That's all typical for M2W guides. We'll be back!

We had a great time on our half day rafting trip. We opted for wetsuits and were glad we did because the water was still very cold. Luke was our guide and he did a phenomenal job guiding our raft through the rocks without getting stuck. We did the San Miguel in the afternoon and that part of the river is pretty mild. It was nice for our younger son's first time white water rafting but he (and all of us) left ready for some bigger rapids.

Loved our guide Luke who led our adventure down the San Miguel river. This was my first rafting trip and Luke did a great job teaching the basics of rafting and river safety. His knowledge and skills on the river made the trip fun and minimized my concerns/fears about rafting. Mild to Wild and all their guides and employees were very organized and on time at the meeting place making the entire process very easy.

We had a great 1/2 day river rafting trip (four adults two kids). Luke was our guide and he was friendly, informative, and lots of personality. Getting to the meeting spot was easy and a pretty short drive post rafting to get back to our car. We would definitely book with this company again. Using the website to book our trip and filling out info prior was easy. And communicating with the company pre trip was easy (they have a good chat option via their website).

We went on a full day with my wife and two older boys. We highly recommend the San Miguel River, and if you go definitely use Mild to Wild. Elena and Sam were the best guides you could ask for. Super friendly, super fun, it all made the trip super memorable. Not to mention there are not many places in the world that compare to the beauty of this part of the United States.

Our rafting trip on the San MIguel River was amazing! Ben navigated the river with expertise and used us as a crew to enhance our experience.It was fun and challenging but never scary!
