After a fraught start where we couldn't get a straight answer on the pick-point (due to hotel name change) and an unfortunate exchange with a rather abrupt female guide (on the first English speaking bus), overall, we had an excellent time on the "Teide By Night" experience!! The tour guide Fernando was simply outstanding in his professionalism and in his knowledge both of Teide National Park and of astronomy for the star-gazing section. Also, thanks to the bus driver who again was very professional and generous with his time. We were wined and dined (food was not bad :-)) and learned lots about both the park and the stars, constellations, planets, etc. It went well beyond our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to anyone going to Tenerife. May even be a reason to go to Tenerife!!

Coach seats cramped . We Sat on back row and so could not see out of tiny window at back. Air con did not work at back of coach and fumes smell made us all feel sick. We could not hear or understand your guide on coach tannoy. Coach was over an hour late at pick up with no text or communication from company led to a very stressful experience, spoiled our day. We did not know what was happening, when to eat or when we should come back to the overcrowding coach

Very good experience overall! Everything was well organized. The guide was excellent and explained everything in detail. The journey went smooth and the timing to go back to the coach after each activity was well organized and sufficient to take pictures and enjoy every stop. The cable car experience is a must so go for it:)

What an amazing day! Javier was a fab guide - so many facts and switched between 3 languages which was awesome! Dorte was a great driver, especially with the bendy roads! We were lucky it was such a clear day. All the stops were great. The cable cart is a must do - what views! We had such a wonderful day, muchas gracias!

I have done many Teidi tours. This was my husbands first and he was super excited. The tours itself was good. Plenty of places to stop and grab a drink or go to the loo. The photo stops were amazing. It’s all been well thought out to make sure you see the best bits and arrive earlier than the masses. The tour guide was disinterested, un engaging and wanted to be anywhere but on the tour. No pleasantries and to be honest he was just down right rude at times. He didn’t get off the coach with the group in mind, you would only see him just as we needed to get back on. Grateful that Teidi is amazing and that the tour itself was good. Google helped fill in any blanks.

Fantastic value for money. Would’ve liked to spend more time at the main National park point. Also no option for those who wished to use the cable cart. Not a problem for us but I imagine some people were thinking about it. Would recommend!

We went on afternoon half-day tour. We really enjoyed the trip. Our guide Fonzo was very enthusiastic, informative and clear, which made the coach journey very interesting. The volcano and surrounding scenery is spectacular and really worth seeing. The landscape is like something out of this world. We went up the cable car, which again is worth doing. However, the time we got at the top was perhaps on the short side due to the queues and the need to get back down in time for the bus. But overall, enjoyable tour.

Wonderful tour of El Teide with guide Peter and driver Bernardo. Pick up just down the street from our villa in Los Gigantes and as others have mentioned a bit of a winding route to pick up other passengers as we were right at the beginning but it did mean we were first to be dropped off as well at the end of the tour. Aside from that the tour was wonderful and Peter kept us amused with his interplay with Bernardo. Multilingual information provided (4 languages). Excellent value in a comfortable coach. Unfortunate that we could not ride the cable car due to high winds but many stops were made to allow us to view the incredible landscape. Excellent value for the price paid. Our thanks to Allen in Los Gigantes for being able to arrange for the tour so quickly for us yesterday as this was one of the sites we really wanted to visit while in Tenerife.

Need to be aware that the coach picks up at nearly every possible stop and ended up more than a hour late picking us up Trip up the mountain through the park was ok and Mount Teide is a must see if you go to Tenerife Sadly too windy to go in the cable car but did enjoy the walk in landscapes Couple of stops on the way back but had to endure the hour plus of dropping people off

It was a pleasant trip, comfortable bus, clean and working AC. Took some time to pick up other passengers but it's obvious when you go on a group trip. First stop was at some cafe, around 20mins. Then you go to see a rock formation, then another one to see the bigger rock formation and at the end one short stop to see Pico Viejo better. On the day of our trip the cable car was not working due to maintenance. We didn't buy tickets for it, but they should have informed us prior to the trip.

We got the booking for this excursion near our hotel. We get the bus with 20 minutes of delay. We arrive on the vulcano around 2 hours of road and little break during the street. We take the funicolare to arrive to 3500 mt. Nice view. Good translation and explanations. We spend 45 minutes on the vulcano, enough time for all. Another break during the street just to buy any souvenirs and we reach our hotel after 2 hours of bus.

Brilliant half day tour (more like a full day though) pick up 08.30 got back at 3. I suppose it just depends on traffic, and waiting for passengers to turn up on time LOL, (no it wasn’t us) Chaantal Was our guide, very knowledgeable and very nice, and speaks 5 languages ! Impressive. We are a family of 2 adults 2 teenagers. We had a great day. Thank you Atlantica tours and Chaantal.

We did the half day El Teide tour last Thursday (27.06.19) and would very much recommend it! Pick-up from our hotel was prompt and there were plenty of toilet stops along the way to break up the journey. A big thank you to our guide Fonzo - such a lovely and knowledgable guy... he made the excursion very enjoyable and is a real asset to Atlantico Excursions. Much of the trip to Mount Teide is done via the coach along the winding roads so there is minimal walking on this tour. There is an option to book a cable car in advance for those that want to go to the top of the mountain, but we opted for a visit to the National Park instead - it is a wonderful site and literally like being on another planet. A very enjoyable day, thank you Fonzo!

Took the half day tour with Atlantico and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Fonz, was interesting and clearly has a passion for the national park and island as a whole. Disappointing, we couldn't go on the cable car to the (near) summit of Teide due to the wind but obviously this isn't the fault of Atlantico. We still got to see a lot and this is something not to be missed if you're visiting Tenerife.

We booked the tour with Atlantico Excursions. Out tourguide was Chaantal and our driver was Casanova. We got some nice and funny explanations during our tour and got plenty of time to make some nice pictures and enjoy the surroundings.

We had a great excursion with our Belgian guide Chantal and busdriver Jorge. They were both very good. Chantal knew a lot and told about the park and the island in a very engaging way (in 4 languages!), Jorge was a very calm and trustworthy driver. The park is beautiful and the cable car upto the vulcano (extra 27,- euro pp) is worth it! Stunning views. It's cold on top of the Teide (around 0-5 degrees celsius in March) so prepare for this. The only (quite big) down side of the trip was the fact that we only got home at 15.45 (pick up at 7.50) because we had to do a detour of at least an hour to drop of 4 persons in Los Gigantes (everyone else was in Costa Adeje, La Caleta, Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos). This means 30 other people were effectively taken hostage for an hour because the excursion company couldn't be bothered to arrange different transportation for 4 persons.

Our wonderful trip started almost on time (about 10 mins later than our pickup time), so that we wouldn't miss a single moment of this epic experience. Our guide, Maria, was a wonderful lady, her blissful personality shone through in the first couple minutes when she quickly rushed us into the bus and took our invoices from the trip in exchange for passage and cards for the cable-car without even asking if we'd need them later. We then immediately took off in the direction of the mountains, while she caressed our eardrums with her soft-spoken (50db) voice gently from the high-quality surround speakers of the bus (sounding like a broken circular saw cutting through metal sheets) with fun facts about the mountain, the vilages and so on. While our russian compatriots were enjoying her guide greatly in Russian, unfortunately we were missing out on this verbal feast due to only being able to understand every 7th word in each sentence she spoke in English (when she bothered to finish one). Even though this deeply saddened me, I was happy to learn that we will be able to spend almost 20 uninterrupted minutes on the peak of Mt. Teide (regardless of us purchasing a trip that would leave us on the peak for at least an hour). She reinforced about 5 times with the vigor of a broken train horn through the bus speakers that we WILL BE LEFT in the parking lot unless we make it back 11.40 sharpish. I wouldn't have dared to upset her, as at this point I was getting more and more convinced she was having a stroke due to her speech difficulties and her severely fluctuating volume. On the flipside, we were treated to 20 minute stops in more relevant and exotic places, such as a backlot souvenir shop of a gas station in a rural area and a pub in Vilafor. I was wondering after such great experiences, what people would event want to do on Mt. Teide if they can be there instead? Great survival experience, recommended greatly for learning bus-drivers as our driver was A-grade (seriously) or to anyone trying to experience a russian prison camp or gulag in all its authenticity thanks to Maria's perfect rendition of it. It's almost 5 hours on a bus and 20 mins where it actually should take place but worth every penny (not). TLDR; if you can drive, take a car. If you can't drive, take a bus. If you have to, ABSOULETLY HAVE TO use their services, take earplugs, for the love of god. Thank me later.

I was not impressed with the trip. We had very limited time at the top. The guide first said we had 20 minutes, but in reality she gave us about 45 min. This is still not enough to reach the first viewpoint of the short trail and to get back on time. So we had to rush back. The guide was repeating everything she said in German as well, which meant she was talking all the time while we were on the bus (3-4 hours). Her microphone is connected to bus’s speakers so it was quite loud and distracting. In general, the way Chantal treats everyone like children and constantly tries to over-control people does spoil the fun as well. Renting a car or taking the 342 bus are much better options than having this bus tour. If these options are not suitable, I recommend taking other tours which have higher rating.

The guide Chantal was rude to me. I stood up on the bus to take a photo and asked if I can sit at the empty Reserved front seats. Chantal became very angry and said that one cannot walk in the bus and imagine what if everyone walked on the bus. Which is fair enough. However her tone was way over the top. This completely ruined the second half of the trip for me.
