WOW what a amazing experience, from the moment we walked in till we left. An everlasting experience of getting dressed in a Kimono and the tea ceremony, priceless experience!

The Hostess was very courteous and engaging. The dressers were dedicated to making you look authentic. We learnt so much about the Japanese culture of ceremony and enjoyed the company of other travelers.

We had such a lovely experience! It was a great way to start off our trip! It was fun to get dressed up in kimonos and take pictures. Our host was very friendly and detailed in each step of the ceremony. It was also very cleansing to the soul and a peaceful experience!

We had an enjoyable time learning about the traditions of the tea ceremony with Sayo. She was very knowledgeable and made the experience very special for us all. We had a full room of other attendees but she made it extremely comfortable esp for my Mother who couldn't quiet sit on the floor the way they sit traditionally. We actually enjoyed the little treats as part of the ceremony & Mum & niece were introduced to macha to which they found a very interesting taste. The kimonos were beautiful. The experience of getting in & out of the kimonos & also have a simple hairstyle was also great. The ladies were extremely helpful & wonderful in the entire experience.

Everyone was really sweet. Yuki did such a great job breaking down some of the basics of the tea ceremony really quickly and also in making sure we were comfortable (don't have to sit in seiza the whole time, no need to finish anything we didn't want to) and made the tea beautifully. putting on the kimono and having my hair done felt like a part of honoring the tea ceremony experience.

Loved wearing the Kimonos got lots of photos. We had so much fun and learned about the history of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Our host, Yuki, was great in explaining what happens in a tea ceremony. The atmosphere was peaceful. I loved the kimono experience too. They help you pick the band around your waist, to match the kimono that you picked from their selection. They also do your hair and put some flowers on your head.

This was a special experience dressing in a Kimoni and participating in the traditional tea ceremony. It was peaceful and relaxing. They offer a range of Kimonos to choose from, they dress you and put flowers in your hair. There were a few men in the group so they wore simpler kimonos. After the tea ceremony, we were given the opportunity to take photos in the roof garden and we were not at all rushed so it was very zen.

To be honest, we expected to learn more about matcha, how it's grown, how it's made, and some other tips. But the tour was more about coming there, dressing up and observing someone pouring tea. I also had an impression that it was more of a private tour (based on the pictures), but we had a group of about 10 people in the room. We spent at least 15 minutes listening to where everyone is from, their names, and their plans in Tokyo, instead of actually focusing on the tea experience. Some people in our group really enjoyed it. I can't say the same about my husband and I. Not our cup of tea ;)

Incredible experience! Highly recommend! They dressed us in traditional kimonos and also did our hair! The ceremony was beautiful and easy to understand. A definite must do if you are in Tokyo!

We only had a few days in Tokyo and this lesson was an absolute must that I’m really happy we made time for! We got to learn the history of the kimono and got to wear them as well. The people working in the styling rooms are beyond pleasant and helpful. The lesson in itself was with a couple of other people, we were about 9 in total which was absolutely fine. Very fun seeing so many people from different parts of the world take part in the ceremony. As for the lesson itself it was very immersive, even calming at times, and we learned a lot of Japanese history along with how their traditions work, the meaning behind it and how to prepare the tea properly. It was worth every cent and we got to take really nice photos in our kimonos after the lesson, nothing was rushed and we got to ask many questions and laugh a lot. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience. Mini (I believe was her name) was our instructor and she was super sweet and engaging. The kimono dressing was super fun.

The tea ceremony was a wonderful and interesting experience. I enjoyed learning about the history of the tea ceremony and getting the opportunity to partake in the ceremony. The host and the ladies were courteous and did a wonderful job. The host even made sure to take the best photos possible which was appreciated.

This was a once in a lifetime experience, well organized and highly efficient . The tea ceremony was beautiful, respectful and gave insight into the culture and history. We would highly recommend this experience. There were lots of opportunities for photos too. Absolutely wonderful!

What a great experience to learn about the Japanese culture and history. Very welcoming and although I was concerned about the dressing part of this activity being a plus size person the ladies were wonderful and fitted my kimono with much care. Would absolutely recommend.

This was a good basic introduction to the tea ceremony. Minnie was welcoming and created a very soothing atmosphere for having tea. She made a particular effort to include our son in the experience. There was a good range of kimonos available to wear. There was several tea ceremonies at the same time, so we could overhear some noise from the next room, but this did not spoil our enjoyment of the experience.

A great experience from start to finish. This was a highlight of our trip. The kimonos were beautiful and the staff were very detailed in helping to make them fit perfectly. The ceremony was very interesting. Highly recommend!

Very informative and really relaxing tea ceremony. I enjoyed wearing the kimono and going through the process of tea making. Great addition to the trip and worth doing.

Should absolutely do this in Tokyo. This place is not far from the Senso-ji. They dress you up in some beautiful Kimonos and teach you so many things about the tea, the room, the history and how to drink it.
