The best beer tasting we could have asked for! Dimitri AKA Doctor Beer has an incredible knowledge and was the most wonderful host we could have asked for! Awesome guy, I would recommend Doctor Beer to everyone!

Dimitri A.K.A. Doctor Beer was the most wonderful beer host we could have asked for! My friend and I travelled from London and obviously had to try some Belgian beer. Even though there was an unfortunate last minute electricity/power outage in Doctor Beer’s building meaning we couldn’t do the tasting inside the shop/tasting area - Dimitri went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Dimitri showed us around Brussel’s best areas and pubs (most of which were unknown tourist spots where locals hang out!) and he had an incredible knowledge of the area, history and of course Beer! We had such a good time that we ended up hanging out for more than the hour we had booked and even got to see inside a crazy beer cellar that Dimitri’s friend down the road showed us! Dimitri’s partner also came by later on and we had such a great time in their company. Dimitri even showed us the Doctor Beer building/tasting room later on (with flashlights!) and I just know it would have been a great experience in there too! I couldn’t have asked for more from a Beer tasting tour - thank you so much Dimitri, such an awesome guy - I would recommend Doctor Beer to everyone!

Great place to learn about beer. Guys can lead you not only through tasting but also process of making beer. They listened to us and adjusted tasting to our tastes. They tought us how to taste and drink lambics and Gose . Great experience!

A must do if you ever come to Brussels. Doctor Beer deserves his name as he knows all about beers and explains it in a very interesting and funny way. He has a lot of extraordinary belgian beers so much better than those you find in the "tourist shops" all around. The beer doctor was amazing. I am not a beer drinker. But, this tasting was so much fun. The food pairings were well thought out and the trappest cheese is to die for. The doctor was very knowledgeable and made the information fun with a team trivia game. I am still not a fan of beer. But, this tasting was one of our favorite activities during our two weeks in Europe. It was laid back and we laughed the whole time. It felt like hanging out with a group of friends. I have already recommended this tasting to multiple people planning europe trips

Hands down one of the best tasting experiences. Having done many in various cities on various topics, we found the time spent with Dimitry to be just excellent. His passion is Belgian beer and it shines bright in the tasting class. We walked in with very limited knowledge and walked out with a good understanding and a framework of how to think about the belgian beer landscape. Highly recommended.

Amazing !!! Dimitri is definitely a sommelier of beer AND his unique pairing items!!. We had a great time and would HIGHLY recommend this activity. Only 10 min walk from castle Square but a whole different neighborhood to enjoy! Beautiful art deco buildings & wide promenade street.

This was by far the highlight of our trip to Brussels!! Doctor Beer knows his stuff and could not have been more kind and informative. He even had his wife come in who was just as kind. Doctor Beer pairs each Belgium beer with a specific food/snack to bring out elements in the beer that you otherwise would not appreciate. If you are looking for something to do in Brussels, this is the spot!! You’ll walk away with a deep appreciation for Belgium beer and local knowledge.

Great experience! The host knows everything about beer and if you dont like beer, you will change your mind after the tasting. Never knew that you can have beer with chocolate and cheese but it works somehow very well. I would definitely recommend the beer tasting.

My daughter and I met in Brussels for a weekend trip and wanted to learn about Belgium Beer. We signed up for this tasting experience and it was PERFECT!! The owner could not have been more knowledgeable, charming and generous with pouring and history, info, etc. It was a 60 minute crash course that gave us a great guide to the world of beer...plus it was super delicious!!!

Our host, Dimitri, had put together an amazing tasting experience with a combination of beers and snacks that amplified the taste to a new level. He's knowledgeable, sociable, adaptable and flexible. He enriched the experience with beer-history and created an all-together great atmosphere. You will never regret this

We were a party of 5 who booked beer-pairing with Bel-Gift and this was amazing! Sincerly the best we have ever attended. The owner is attentive, welcoming and very devoted to his craft. We ended up staying for almost 5 hours, and the service was excellent. The prices are also amazing, you really get value for your money here. The best part was the beer pairing of a Westmalle trappist Extra with some cheese also from Westmalle. They were both amazing on their own, but combined it was simply just mindblowing. We also got to taste some Gin and some other stuff. All in all, this was our best experience during a 5 day stay in Brussel.
