We’ve had a fantastic time with Aki our guide who is a sommelier and well travelled guide. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about sake and other spirits, answering all our questions and gave us tips about Japan and where to go and what to avoid. The tasting experience itself was fantastic, we appreciated every sip. We were also given a small leaflet about the process of making sake and its different types. Aki’s well rounded knowledge and funny personality made the whole experience unforgettable and I recommend this to all sake lovers!

Didn’t realize it was going to be a private tasting at a small sake bar. Learned a lot about sake. Our guide Aki was fun and very informative. Kept good communication and made sure to find us in a very busy meeting spot. The sake options were great, definitely try if you like sake and want to learn more.

Since we met on the meeting point, the guide, Akira, was extremely fun and entertaining. He made us feel comfortable right away so we felt much relaxed during the tasting. Regarding the tasting experience, first of all Akira gives you all the explanation about sake followed by the degustation. We tried a lot of varieties of sake (hot, sweet, sparkling, dry) and all of them were extremely good. Akira made all the experience super entertaining and interesting. Definitely would recommend it to people who wants to try sake for the first time.

We had a wonderful experience doing the sake tasting! My husband and I were the only two that signed up and we got a personal experience learning about the ins and outs of sake. Aki was a wonderful host and it was so fun tasting all different kinds of sake!

Great seminar. The guide (I'm sorry, I forgot his name) was wonderful. He is passionate & very knowledgable about sake and whiskeys, having studied them for many years. He was anxious to share that knowledge with the group. The day before our seminar he sent very detailed directions with pictures as to where to meet.

Lots of learning while having lots of fun. We had a great time and got a good grip about sake, ingredients, production, aging, market etc. Well done Aki, highly recommended.

We booked this sake adventure last minute and it was a lot of fun! Aki is a great host and very knowledgeable about sake. He explains a lot of the intricacies of what makes sakes taste so dramatically different from one another. Very interesting and useful. Be sure to have lunch first so you don’t get too wild.

Aki is excellent and made the tour very worthwhile. I recommend it, even for non-sake drinkers as the tour might convert you! There is more than enough sake to sample so don’t worry about not having enough. A perfect blend of the different styles of sake. I will go again.

Aki knows his stuff when it comes to sake, whiskey and wine. He taught us a lot about sake, how it’s made, why the different tastes and how to drink and enjoy sake. A fun afternoon and met some new friends. The party didn’t stop after the tour ended!

Our guide, Aki, was a nice and friendly guy who answered all our questions, even if they were not sake related. We tasted a total of 6 diffrent types of sake with an additional welcome sake. All in all the tasting took about 2 hours and we learned a lot about the japanese rice wine.

Aki is great, I had a great time; I appreciate that he gave us a information sheet. It would been slightly better if the sheet also included the sake we were trying and information on those (acidity level, pasteurization, etc).
