We learned so much more than we expected. Alicia was knowledgeable and a lot of fun - right from the start I could tell we were in for a treat. We got to explore parts of Lisbon that we had heard were amazing but were not yet on our agenda because of other big sightseeing attractions we wanted to see. A lovely way to see more of the beautiful city.

We love Devour tours. We actually did two this trip. The right mix of food and history. Our guide for both was Eva and she was excellent! I recommend taking this tour early in your stay in Lisboa. Lots of tips of where to go, what to see, and what to avoid. This tour did require walking uphill, which they warn you about, so some level of fitness for walking is required. Not too bad. Highly recommend!

While enjoying the lovely local food as well can find out the history of the town , the guide was very professional and answer all the questions we had.

Tour guide was a “no show” and never responded to our requests for assistance. Wouldn’t book with them again.

Eva was an outstanding guide. She told us what to expect in advance. We met her where and when we expected to meet her. She was knowledgeable, honest and considerate. And she took us to some terrific places for food and drink. A warning - do not do this tour if you are not hungry. There were pastries, drinks and substantial sandwiches …. and then we sat down for a large and delicious lunch of four different entrees with wine. I was sorry not to be able to eat more. Then dessert and a free sample of sardines. The warnings regarding walking and steps are true. Be prepared. But the pace was not too fast and we saw some very interesting sights. We did not have to wait at any of the places we visited. Eva also provided some great tips for tourists. I would heartily recommend this tour. It was great value for the money.

Absolutely fantastic trip! Went to places we would have never thought of visiting and tasted food and drink we would have never chosen. Our tour guide was brilliant and we’ve had a wonderful day.

This was our first tour and it won’t be our last . Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Portuguese food and its history.We had a wonderful time. Food and drink choices were excellent . A beautiful introduction to Portugal and its food history . Would highly recommend.

This was our first excursion in Lisbon and it was perfect. We navigated the city, ate interesting foods and listened to great stories shared by Rita our guide. I highly recommend doing this tour early in your Lisbon trip.

Our tour with Borja was excellent. He is knowledgeable (a trained chef), entertaining and friendly. The tour was a great mix of food, history and interesting anecdotes. Everything at each stop was well managed by him (including catering to our vegetarian daughter and my wife who doesn’t like fish). Highly recommended as a great way to enjoy some of the city on foot, learn more about it and enjoy wonderful food and drink.
