The Food!!! Places the average tourist wouldn’t go or food you would normally try. Pieces of history along the way and local establishments. Fantastic!!

I highly recommend this tour. Vera was a great guide. She was personable, informative, and did an excellent job of explaining the history of Barcelona and food traditions. I’m a vegetarian, and this tour was very veg friendly. Everything I ate was delicious!

Another amazing tour with Devour, this time with Mick leading us through the Tastes and Traditions of Barcelona Food. Mick opened our eyes, and our palette to how Catalans eat, and what makes this culture so unique and special. We will remember this tour, by raising a glass in toast, and saying, “Menja bé, caga fort i no tinguis por a la mort!”

A fabulous tour! We chose this food tour as the first thing we scheduled in Barcelona and we were so happy we did! We had a fabulous time in a market trying hams, salami, olives, cheeses and more with a glass of cava! Then we were off to a the oldest bakery in Barcelona, a wonderful nougat shop, for tapas and vermouth and paella with tinta verano. We got pretty full and learned so much about the local cuisine! We also learned a lot of history, got a bit of understanding about how to navigate Barcelona and other fun facts. Our tour guide Ariana was fun to be with, knowledgeable and accommodating and clearly had great relationships with the shop owners and restauranteurs. We didn't want it to end. Thanks for a fantastic tour Ariana!!

Vera was a fantastic guide! We went to places I would've never known to visit and had amazing food, all of it local to Barcelona. Vera was extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about the history and cultural influences that affect the cuisine to this day. She was fluent in Catalan and Spanish and it was great having a local show us around. Excellent croissants, paella, and the best Iberian Ham I've had. The tour is accommodating and had options for myself (non-alcoholic) and vegetarian options for other guests. Don't miss out!

Vera was extremely knowledgeable about the food, culture & customs of Spain & particularly Catalonia. We toured in rain & she was very mindful of keeping us out of it wherever possible. The establishments we visited and the products we tasted were historic & varied and provided us with a fantastic cultural experience.

Hector was an amazing guide. He reviewed eating customs in Catalonia, traditional foods, and treated us to a delicious walking feast. Everything was well timed, ready and prepared, abundant, unique, and delicious. He even had special treats prepared for the vegetarian. He taught us about grades of cured pork, how vermouth is made, what spices are common, and explained the history of the venues. I think we walked and ate for over 3 hours! We got a great overview of Barcelona on this first day of our visit. Great way to begin!

Alex is a phenomenal tour guide. Fantastic selection of food and insights into the history of Barcelona and food/drinks that are among thousands of reasons to do this tour.

We loved this small group walking tour. Our guide Benedetta was wonderful. Her English was excellent which isn't always the case with guides. My husband has some physical challenges and she was attentive to his needs and very kind. If we had to think of a complaint, it's that it was almost too much food! Everything was delicious.

Hector, our Devour guy, was brilliant. As simple as that. He had great knowledge about food, both making and tasting, where the best restaurants and ice cream were, where the best markets were. And he also had lots of knowledge about the history of the place. It was very enjoyable and well worth the time and money spent. The day after the trip with Hector we went back to several of the places and that was also very nice to get around and feel that you knew the area.

Our guide, Alex was very informative, prepared and made our tour fun! We started with the beautiful food market and tried several charcuterie items: cheeses, meats and olives. Then on to several more places ending with the best paella. Alex shared all the history of the area and the great food!

Valentina is amazing!! It’s not just a food tour, but learnt a lot about Barcelona as well. We started at a market, and get to sample different types of jamon, cheese, cava, olives & sandwiches. Then we make a walk out, and had various other treats like the best Croissant in Spain, Nougat that is run by the 4th generation, a very local bomba and wrapped up with such good paella. Valentina is so attentive, making sure we are all taken cared of, and also making sure the group is well managed and not in the way of others. Such a pleasant and knowledgeable guide, I highly recommend it. Thank you again Valentina for a great morning & brunch.

This was my least favorite food tour I have ever done. The guide was okay but lacked the energy and enthusiasm I hoped for. He seemed distracted by his phone most of the tour and didn't seem very interested in the experience. Not worth the money or time.

This was an AMAZING tour and a perfect way to kick start your trip in Barcelona! From trying the cheeses, to olives, to Cava and pork… So good, and so worth the time! Hector was amazing! Thank you so much! A+++++

Alex was our excellent tour guide, he was really knowledgeable about the area and it's history. We were in a small group which was perfect for the visit to the bustling market and to some local businesses selling delicious treats, which we'd never have noticed if not for the tour, and bought some gifts to take home. We particularly appreciated Alex's attention to detail in accommodating our dietary needs (one vegetarian, one nut allergy). Highly recommended.

This was one of my very favorite food tours ever. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable about the local cuisine and history. We loved comparing different foods side by side to see their unique flavor profiles. We had more then enough for breakfast and lunch. Guaranteed to have great time!

Our tour guide Vera was absolutely brilliant! The tour was so well organised and Vera was so knowledgeable about all of the food we tasted and the areas we visited. She is an academic studying and teaching cuisines and their links to tourism so we could not have been in better hands. The tour started in the market and this gave us the understanding we needed to return on our own to buy some specialties and to have an authentic Catalan second breakfast at Bar Joan. We then toured El Born and Barceloneta with loads of things to taste and plenty of authentic drinks too including pastries, sweets, tapas and vermouth. We finished with paella and wine in Barceloneta. I highly recommend this tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona. Thank you Vera!
