Our tour guide Masaaki was very accommodating in that he asked if we had any preferences. He suggested an itinerary that we were happy with. We went up the cable car to the highest view point in Nagasaki & he pointed out a lot of land marks & sights of interest. Also visited the Chinese & Japanese Buddhist temples & the Spectacles Bridge & told us a lot of information & stories. At end of trip took us to a large shopping mall. We got around all these places by hopping on buses. He spoke very good English & we understood him. Well done Masaaki!

Dear Masaaki San, the tour of Nagasaki with you was excellent. It covered all of the areas we came here to see and more. The Atomic Bomb Museum, Hypocentre Park, and the Peace Park were special and your explanations very valuable. The Ropeway to Mt Inasa was a bonus, particularly on such a beautiful day. Tomi was fantastic and showed us places that we would never have seen if we were by ourselves. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We would definitely recommend Tomomi for your guide! We did a LOT of walking.

Our tour guide, Masaaki, was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He spontaneously added some sights that we were interested in, such as the Peace Park and Museum. He gave us a tour of Mt. Inasa on a clear, sunny day when we could see for miles. He also gave comprehensive background on the temple visits, walk down the shopping arcade, and meganebashi. We learned lots of interesting history of Nagasaki and would highly recommend his service. We also learned how to take the bus and tram. This tour was a great value!

Because of our ship’s uncertain schedule, this company went the extra mile to help us make the tour on time. The guide met us at the ship terminal rather then a mid-city location which we could not have gotten to in time. Our guide, Tomi, was solicitous of our welfare and very knowledgeable about the historic sites we visited. The pace was comfortable and included a nice mix of attractions such as the traditional, off the beaten path, shopping streets and residential neighborhoods as well as busy, picturesque boulevards.

This tour exceeded my expectations. It was carefully planned out by our knowledgeable guide Tomomi. She has help deepen my understanding of the history and culture of Nagasaki. The 400 plus years old Chinese and Zen temples are interesting, beautiful and well preserved.

Tour guide was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My suggestion is Viator consider investing in "whispers" which make it far easier for a group to hear the guide. That suggestion is not a criticism of our guide.

Mac was an excellent guide. Warm, well-informed, & very good English. We were lucky to get a sunny day & Mac accommodated last minute requests to change our itinerary to take advantage of the great weather. Highly recommend going to the Observatory if you get a clear day. It will make you appreciate the beauty of Nagasaki. He was born 4 years after the atomic bomb was dropped & has lived & worked in Nagasaki most of his life. It was interesting to hear about both recent & more distant history of the city. A don't miss if you are in Nagasaki.

We were so happy to meet up with Tomomi-San in Nagasaki. I believe it’s always a good idea to meet up with a resident expert to ask about local restaurants, itineraries and general travel questions. Tomomi-San was a wealth of information. Considering the current SOE and all the closures she saved us a lot of unnecessary hardship navigating through sightseeing closures as she called multiple places for us.

Masaaki showed my friend and I around Nagasaki, leading us to some of the most important historical sights within the city. We visited the Sofukuji and the Kofukuji Temple and learnt about the history of Nagasaki’s interaction with China. We also explored the shopping mall and gazed upon the spectacle bridge. Masaaki was a brilliant tour guide, with excellent English and deep knowledge about the city of Nagasaki from its origins to modern day.
