Had an amazing time thanks to my tour guide Kaif! He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour was well organized and went smoothly. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Taj Mahal and the surrounding areas of Agra.

We did an extended layover for just two days in Delhi on our way home from the Maldives. The Taj Mahal has been on our bucket list of places we have to see. We landed on the Day Tour from Amin Tours and couldn’t be happier. They provided door stop to door stop service with attentive drivers getting us everywhere we needed to go. The first class service on the fast train from Delhi to Agra was comfortable and the time sped by with the meal service provided. Once in Agra another attentive driver took us to pickup and meet our tour guide, Faizal. Faizal spoke easy to understand English (as well as four others)! Our first stop was the Taj Mahal were we spent nearly three hours taking in the awesome splendour of this world wonder. Faisal gave us detailed history of the mausoleum and the love story behind it, arranged and managed the photographer for great shots of us (very reasonably priced and I highly recommend it) and also helped keep the street hawkers away on our walk to and from the Taj. The stop to see the marble inlay artisans who demonstrated how the beautiful art we say in the mausoleum was created was very interesting and they had a gallery of pieces to browse at various price points but without any sales pressure. For lunch Faizal gave us the option of a more American-friendly buffet at a hotel or an Indian lunch at a local restaurant. We chose the Indian restaurant (of course) and it was delicious! Next stop was a drive by of the Agra Fort and then onto the Baby Taj which was a smaller and less grand predecessor to the Taj Mahal. We had an option to stop at a pashmina fabric shop that we declined and instead Faizal took us to his office for a love masala chain and biscuits where we cooled down and relaxed for 30 minutes before heading back to the train station for an easy ride back to Delhi. Again the driver was right at our door when we stepped off the train. No complaints whatsoever about the day and I couldn’t think of anything that could have been done better. I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants a first class private tour of the Taj Mahal from Delhi!!

From the moment we stepped out of our hotel until we were dropped off over 12 hours later, we were so glad we chose this guided tour! We saw many tourists struggling to find where to go and how to get there, and we were so glad we didn't have that stress. We were able to see so many more things in a day and more comfortably. We chose the first class option for the train because we wanted to have an assigned seat. It was very comfortable, clean, and air conditioned. Our guide Faizal, a local who grew up in Agra and speaks five languages, helped us with using a real licensed photographer at Taj Mahal. We have some amazing shots and feel like we got a fair deal. He also kept away the scammers and the hawkers. For lunch, instead of the hotel buffet, we chose a local Indian restaurant that was amazing. While this tour had an itinerary, we had the flexibility to stay as long as we wished or to do other things not listed. I highly recommend this tour and our guide Faizal!

The Taj Mahal was incredibly impressive - far more than I even imagined. The tour arranged everything for us, we had multiple drivers who were all great - specifically Ajay, and our guide Salim Khan was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I recommend this tour for your visit!

We had a fantastic experience with this group who handled all our ground transportation from ship port to airports and hotel drop off with seamless professionalism. Our fabulous tour guide Sadiq made sure we made sunrise at the Taj Mahal despite late flight arrivals etc. Sadiq is a very knowledgeable and personable guide who also takes amazing photos! He made our perfect day in Agra come true by also taking us to Baby Taj, Fort Agra and to see local artisans who are still practicing the vintage handmade methods of producing inlaid marble carvings and embroidery with metals and semi precious stones. Our driver Manoj was also wonderful; transporting us safely and efficiently during our 48hr non-stop stay.

The Taj totally lives up to expectations. I had a good time being guided around by Salim who did a fantastic job with explaining the things we saw, answering all my questions and taking lots of photos. The Agra Fort was a extra special surprise that I wasn't expecting. The whole trip is managed really well and I would definitely recommend it, especially as a solo female traveller.

We took this tour as we wanted to learn about taj not just see it. The tour works well with the team picking you up from motel and taking you back there. Our guide was Kaif who was great. What we liked is the tour is flexible. You can do what you want. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all the monuments and we learnt so much. But they also keep they annoying scammers/hawkers at bay. We recommend this tour.

The tour was excellent, and the organization spotless. Picked up at the hotel in New Delhi, dropped off at the train station until seated. At Agra the same, picked by the driver at the train station. My guide, Chirag, was great in explaining the history and events in and around the Taj Mahal. Great experience overall!

This was a great day, the staff were very attentive and the guide was knowledgeable about the history and spoke perfect English. Travel was very well organised. Of course the Taj was stunning, but I enjoyed the baby Taj more as it had a relaxed atmosphere and there were plenty of monkeys. Food on the train and at the restaurant was tasty. Slight downside was the shop owners I was taken to just wouldn’t stop trying to talk me into buying something, I’m more likely to buy when given some headspace! The products were beautiful though, particularly at the marble shop.

This tour was well organized with handoff’s between drivers, train, and tour guide being seamless. Ajay (driver) and Arif (guide) were a great combo. Arif was knowledgeable but also adjusted the pace of the tour based on my interests. The Taj did not disappoint, more beautiful than I imagined but the true hidden gem was the Baby Taj. even more intricate marble cuts than the Taj and less crowded. It was great to just sit almost alone and soak in the artistry and historical culture.

From the pick up from my hotel at 7.00am this morning, the whole day has been excellent. My first driver, Vikram, was waiting for me outside the hotel before 7 and transported me to the railway station. He ensured I got my seat on the train in the right compartment. An Air conditioned train, left exactly on time and refreshments were served. I was met in Agra station by my guide, Arif Hosssain and driver, Ajay, who looked after me for the rest of the day. Arif was so knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited and obviously, The Jewel In The Crown, was The Taj Mahal - just superb. There can’t be many people on the planet who have not seen a picture of The Taj Mahal, but to see it close up is stunning. I am so glad that I completed this trip before leaving for home tomorrow. Thank you India - you are the most amazing people and I hope so many more tourists take advantage of the beautiful guided tour. Kindest regards

The whole experience on this tour was absolutely amazing. 10/10 service, 10/10 organisation with absolutely no issues or dramas. Huge shoutout to my tour guide, Ankur Sharma, I strongly recommend anyone who is doing this tour to recommend having your guide as him. He has been doing this for nearly 10 years and has built relationships with everyone which made my experience so smooth. Also special shoutout also to my Agra Driver, Dharmendra who was always punctual, switched on and was always at the spot we needed to be picked up from. Overall, I am so glad I chose to book this tour rather than trying to see the Taj Mahal myself. Couldn’t recommend this enough!

This trip was brilliant. From the moment I was collected from the hotel in the morning, it was clear that I was in very safe hands. Salim, my main guide, was absolutely brilliant, so knowledgeable and patient and knew everything there was to know about the Taj Mahal. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip and company. Great value for money, really good communication throughout, and made me feel very safe as a solo female traveller. Thank you!

Although it’s the low travel season with hot summer weather, this trip was set up very well. Drivers and my tour guide Chirag are friendly and professional.

We were pleased with the day , drivers turned up on time and were very helpful in getting on the right train etc. Our guide was very knowledgable and respected his surroundings. We were meant to go for lunch in a 5 star hotel but we were asked to go to a local place (which was nice but looked like every tourist in Agra had been taken there). We got to see lots in our day tour and overall had a pleasant time, with the exception of visiting the ‘marble factory’ - where we were subjected to watching a demonstration of making marble products the the curtain would rise (the child in the back pulling the chord) and as if by magic a tonne of marble products were sat on the many shelves (all hand made in this little factory, obviously). We were a bit miffed with both our guide and with the tour operator for including this in something that we’d paid a lot of money for. We didn’t make a fuss about it but did tell our driver it’s not for us he seemed miffed that he missed out on some Commission but I’m not buying factory produced tat at heavily inflated prices. The train is a great experience btw, definite go first class with air con and large, reclining seats.
