Our guide Miles was really really good. Very knowledgeable have lots of passion for the job. Would recommend Miles and the hike was difficult but worth the handwork.

I don't know where to start. This was not just a highlight of Cape Town but of our lives. Firstly Miles the guide was absolutely superb. Super friendly, calm, reassuring and incredibly skilled at mountaineering as well as photography. Amazing photos from him. I can't say enough positive things about him. As for the hike/climb be aware it is challenging and somewhat scary in places. You will need a good base fitness and no fears of heights or any other possible issues. That being said, it was truly unforgettable and one of the best things we've ever done. If you're not afraid to challenge yourself somewhat, then I highly recommend this. We will certainty use this company again next time we're in Cape Town for Lion's head.

The views are amazing truly spectacular. We were lucky to have the perfect day could see for miles. The cable car is great worth every cent.

We hiked up the top with a local guide. It was such a wonderful experience. We got the cable car down from the top. HIGHLY recommended

I definitely recommend this hike, and make sure to do it with Shamier as your guide. The mountain is really technical-good for hike lovers. I enjoyed how Shamier ensured we used our own pace, and how interactive he was, right from the time he picked us up!

We did the adventurous hike accompanied by our guide Miles. He was quite patient and provided direction where need in a laid back way, not overbearing. The hike itself was moderately strenuous and included a number of scrambles, and would not be suitable for someone without a reasonable base amount of fitness. Better to go earlier in the morning before sunrise if at all possible. Steve

I did the India Venster trail with a group and with Idrees as our guide. It's a very scenic hike up to Table Mountain with some fun scrambling! Idrees was very knowledgeable, friendly and provided us with safety demo and help thought the more difficult scrambles. He made us fell very safe throughout the hike and shared facts and info around Cape Town history, culture and nature. Definitely recommended!

The hike to Table Mountain with Johann was just perfect! I will not lie it totally underrated the art of climbing and I had my moments where i thought I couldn’t do it. He reassured me and I always felt super safe. In the end I felt amazingly proud to have accomplished it and that’s mostly thanks to Johann cause he was such a great guide! He shared a lot of informations during the hike and took time to show us nice spots and took great pictures! Great guide and a great hike would love to come back again.

Fantastic trek up an exciting mountain Trail. Well worth getting up early for to enjoy the magnificent sunrise.Tauriq our guide was superb ,informative and made us feel safe throughout the trip with a good balance of challenge.,reassurance and fun. Great friendly group.

Absolutely fantastic morning going to the top of table mountain.. cable car ride was exhilarating especially the revolving floor which gave everyone a panoramic view.. staff couldn’t be more helpful..

Rudy was our guide today to traverse the India Venster trail in Table Mountain. It’s amazing how him and Codi were working as a tag team to ensure our safety. They helped us every step of the way with all the exposure and scrambling involved. Someone got injured (muscle sprain) and Rudy stayed to ensure she’s okay until the doctor got there. Codi, the guide in training, went with us to the top of the cable car and sent us off to say bye before he came down to help his colleague to bring our fellow hiker to the summit (cable car). My friend and I had a great time scrambling despite the exposure at this trail. I learned a new word today: technical hiking and it was a success! Thank you the Cape Town Local team! Most certainly a hike to remember. I’ve always wanted to hike here so it’s comforting to know we have experienced hikers who are local and have been in such trails for x+ years :)

Tim was an absolute legend. It was a more challenging hike than I expected but he was so supportive and attentive to such detail. I’m so very glad that I did this amazing hike, it pushed my boundaries at times but so satisfying reaching the top. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable experience.

It’s hard to capture this experience in words. It truly is something you need to do to understand. And I think anyone who willing and able should experience this. It won’t be a short hike, it won’t be an easy hike, but there is no better feeling than climbing each obstacle, and no better feeling than making it to the top. This is definitely not something I would be bold enough to attempt without a guide, but with our amazing guide I felt safe the entire way. If you are able, request Miles as your guide. You will not be disappointed.

What a experience! Miles was a great guide and also took cool pictures during the hike of us. It was quite challenging at a few parts and I think a good fitness level and no fear of hights and steep passages is an advantage. I can highly recommend it and I am very happy and proud I did!

Johan was a great guide! He taught us many cool things about the herbs growing on the trail and kept a steady pace. If I could change anything, it would be the time that the hike started. The mountain usually has better weather towards late morning early afternoon. So starting at 5:30am meant certain trails were a bit too dangerous. Other than that I would highly recommend!

Idrees was a great guide, knowledgeable and informative from start to finish. The route was harder than I thought it was going to be but that just added to the sense of achievement when we reached the top. I would highly recommend this tour

Idrees was the perfect host and climbing companion. Not only was he all about safety but being a native he was able to tell me ALOT about Cape Town. Climbing Table Mountain has been decades in the making, and I couldn't have asked for a better team mate. His patience and determination to make it to the finish line was inspiring. I hope you all understand what jewel you have in Idrees. This trip wouldn't have been nearly as exciting without him.
