This was a wonderful tour, our tour guide Francis was a lovely man, very friendly and helpful, we even had lunch with him
very good tour. the documentary was superb with very good humour too.
Into the countryside around Budapest, van stopped for photo opportunities. After free time in Szentendre, we took a shuttle boat back to the city.
This tour was a bit misleading as most of the time was spent roaming around the countryside then only about 45 minutes in Szentendre which is what we wanted to see. One couple on our tour got off before we went wandering and they had the right idea. Very disappointing.
Good tour but would have been better to have more time
Coach was 30 mins late to pick me up but guide was lovely. First part of trip with a trip to countryside and see Danube bend was a little boring but the 2nd half was alot better. Szentendre is a quaint but touristy village - we only had 1 hour there and could have done with 2 hours. The best part was the cruise back - great weather and very relaxing - good photo opps.
We loved the trip. It was all well organized and enjoyable, however the guide was not up to standard. He was difficult to understand and very unenthusiastic. Most of the bus visitors fell asleep. Would not give him a tip or recommend him for any future tours. Loved Szentendre!
Wonderful tour of a beautiful, little town.
A beautiful country side tour and a must visit place. Love the view and the small towns.
Great tour guide and very informative. Great time management to allow us free time
The trip was enjoyable and informative. There was enough time for shopping and looking around.
the guide was very informative, and even on his break sat with us as we drank hot chocolate and tasted wonderful pastries. It was a great tour
very good tour guide, interesting town and nice trip back on the Danube.
Very good. A 4 hour trip is an ideal getaway from the city. Seeing the Danube bend is indeed a special treat and Szentendre is very quaint. The tour guide was superb and very informative.
This was our second visit to Budapest and our second time on this wonderful trip to see the lovely village of Szentendre. This is such a pretty village and well worth a visit whilst spending time in Budapest, it makes for a nice change from the heart of city life too. Also included with the trip is a pass for a hop on and hop off boat ride on the Danube, this is a great way of seeing parts of Budapest along the river and although this trip is advertised as a half day trip with the boat trip ticket included you end up spending the whole day on the trip, which was great for us! I would recommend this trip.
Small tour group, did not follow the itinerary listed on Viator...is it out dated? The tour was very noce, however our guide was distracted by a colleague and we waited almost 10 minutes for directions regarding our meeting point in Szentendre.
This was a lovely trip --- lots of very interesting information about the areas we passed through and about Hungary in general. I really appreciated the taxi pick up to take me to the bus.
Good shopping time at Szentendre and the cruise back was also very enjoyable.
Beautiful place. Very charming. A good getaway for the day.
Interesting old town and lovely ride back on the Danube.
An experience of old Budapest
Enjoyable, but I would have preferred to skip the visit to the diamond workshop and spend more time in Szentendre!
Good value guided tour with knowledgeable guide. Town was an interesting experience, and the Danube River cruise back was very pleasant.
To be recommended. However, we would have preferred a little more time sightseeing. Nevertheless, worth doing.
The tour was well organised, and we will now use Viator as our first choice for other tours.
