Loved my first ever surfing experience last week with Andy from Suzy's! It was just me and my 7 year old nephew out there learning (and I'm almost 40!) I felt like we were both very safe with Andy. He was also fun and engaging. I got up on the board several times and so did my nephew. Andy had him giggling like wild when he was helping him get back out to the spot where he would push him off, blasting off over the waves. The location was incredibly beautiful, with very few people around all up and down the beach. We only had the surf lesson planned for the day and we ended up having lunch a the Shrimp Shack across the street (delicious!) and bought snacks from the little store next door and spent the entire day on the beach. If you want an amazing experience learning to surf, this is a great place to book a lesson! For kiddos and grown kiddos 😁

Great first surfing experience for a mom and 2 daughters! It was windy and high surf, but Susie and team helped find the perfect location on the North Shore! There were only 5 patrons surfing with 2 instructors out in the surf which made it ideal for everyone to get ample time to catch waves! Pre surf lessons on the shore made for quick learners! Susie and her 2 instructors were fun, experienced, and always had safety as a priority! Thank you! Hang loose!

We were 3 generations and different levels of experience. Andy did a great job of teaching and taking care of all of us. The surf on the North Shore was huge but they took us to a great beach with small waves-perfect. We were the only ones there which was nice.

Surfing lessons were awesome. Very personal. All three of us (46 yo dad and two teens) were able to get up and ride waves multiple times. It was nonstop.

Absolutely great instructors! My wife and I had a complete blast. They really know how to make you succeed. Totally worth it!

My kids had a great time. Got lots of reps in. Alex the instructor was great and personable. Waves were nice.

Suzy and crew are great. They are fun, positive, and low key. It wasn't the perfect day but it was the only one we had for surfing and they were willing to help us make the most of the weather. Their positive attitudes and patience were amazing. We always appreciate getting a chance to surf with Suzy and crew.

Suzy is great. Made my daughter fall in love with surfing, we will be continuing lessons. I love that she had a girl instructor to show her it’s a great sport for girls. Every time my daughter caught a wave I seen Suzy out there cheering for her. We lost a few mins of time off our lesson but you know what? She was already trying to invite us to the next day as well to make sure we got every bit of time owed. She also made sure my daughter was taken care of AND went all the way to her truck to get my daughter a wetsuit to try and warm her up. She was so great about texting the time and the place. We will be doing my daughters future lessons with her just bc she seems like a genuine person.

The family and I had so much fun. We can’t thank Suzy enough for such a wonderful morning learning from a great group of people.

We enjoyed the afternoon surfing at Pua’ena Point State Park on longboards with Suzy’s brother. It was a great time spent out there learning and getting up. We got up about 12-15 times. Very safe area with small 4-6 foot waves to learn on. Surfboards and upper body rash guards were provided. You do indeed get very tired in the shoulders having to paddle a lot. We enjoyed the time out there and would do it again.

We had a fantastic time surfing with Suzy. She and her team are great cheerleaders and teachers. We highly recommend!

Andy and Matt were amazing instructors and had us (2 adults, 3 kids) in the water, up on our surfboards in no time! Suzy was so great and gave us great recommendations on additional spots to visit on our trip and let us play with sweet Luna. We couldn’t have had a better experience - it was the highlight of our family vacation!

Andy and Matt were amazing teachers and were fantastic with my 3 children. My kids were up on their surfboards and having the time of their lives within 30 mins :) My husband and I had a blast as well! Suzy was delightful and gave us great ideas for additional things to do on the North Shore. And Luna (the dog) was just the sweetest. Thank you for such a wonderful, memorable experience that we’ll remember forever!

Great lessons for first timers! Andy was our instructor. Very cool personality, but also got great knowledge for the basics of surfing from him. And felt safe the whole time. Made changes to surf location due to better conditions, and it went well!

This was such a cool experience. We surfed in Hawaii!!! Messages received Day before to organise everything. Meeting Andy was easy and he was so good with my wife and I. In no time we were catching waves. Also great it was just the 2 of us so all the focus was on our needs. A must whilst in Oahu
