Booking was great, Cabo Surf Tours picked me up from my hotel, my instructor Carlos was amazing - he had a great understanding of the area, the waves, and where I should surf as a beginner. The located was a little off the beaten path so if you do no like bumpy rides - this might not be the trip for you - but for me - I love exploring new breaks, new locations, and hidden treasures. It was a super popular site for surfers and there were a ton of international surfers hanging out and giving it that total surf vibe. Loved every minute of it and Carlos was super kind to bring food, gatorade, snacks, and was very hospitable. Can't wait to come back in the near future.

Our instructor Carlos was the best. Super friendly guy and a huge help out in the water. Martin (the owner) met us there and had a cooler with snacks, drinks, and sandwiches that I actually still think about. The other instructors that were helping the other couple were super friendly as well. Super easy logistics, super friendly people, great half day adventure.

My 12-year old twin sons went had a surfing lesson with Cabo Surf Tours. This was their first time surfing in Cabo and they are still learning. They each had one-on-one instruction while Martin took photos. We surfed at Cerritos Beach since it was the winter. Martin picked us up at our hotel in San Jose del Cabo and drove us to the beach. We were greeted there by the magical sight of whales breaching the surface in the distance. The whole team is friendly and knowledgeable so the boys had an amazing experience riding the waves. They learned in bigger waves than they were used to so they improved and had fun. We will definitely try to come back.

Went on surfing lesson with Cabo Surf Tours for the first time. If you want to learn how to surf in Cabo and want to have your pictures taken, look no other! Martin and his team is really helpful so you have great experience riding waves! A photographer takes lots of pictures of the students. My pictures look great! Also, they offer snacks, fruits and beverages.

We had the best time! My husband and I booked the half day surf lesson. We did two surfing lessons back in Portugal, which were great. So I initially thought that the 180$ for half a day were on the pricier side, but boy, it’s worth it! Although it’s ‚just‘ a surf lesson, not even a private one, Martin and his crew gave us a phenomenal service. He picked us up from our Hotel and drove us 1 hour to the right surf spot. We were three students, all of different surfing levels. At the spot, three coaches awaited us, so that we all had 1 on 1 coaching, each fitted to our respective skill level. Martin was taking pictures from the shore, set up the chairs and sunshade and had brought snacks and drinks. There was no fix time limit, we were just surfing and enjoying ourselves for a good 3 hours, until we were spent. So we had the snacks and refreshments and after some chilling on the beach Martin took us back to the hotel and sent us all the pics he took, all included in the price. This was the best surfing lesson experience we’ve had so far, and I can only recommend booking the lessons, especially the full day lesson, you‘ll get even more bang for the buck! I wish we‘d booked sooner with Martin, then we could have also booked some diving experience with him, since we‘ve felt very well taken care of. Martin and his crew are absolutely passionate about the ocean and what they do and they have the highest interest of getting every customer to join in their passion and just have a great time with them. Did a full day surf lesson solo and a full day expedition together with a friend. Both were awesome. Pick up was on time and took us out to a gorgeous spot along the Sea of Cortez, far away from all the hotels. Martin has great coaches and provides plenty of snacks.

Loved Martin and Emi! They were flexible with the pickup time and took me to one of their favorite spots more off the beaten track. I was able to get up every time and they were patient with my mistakes and celebrated the wins. As a solo female traveler I felt super comfortable with them. As a bonus, the snacks provided were delish!

The tour was amazing. Martin and the team were fantastic. Super helpful, prepared for anything and super accommodating. Very professional and super personal. Got to see a whole other side of Cabo, with gorgeous nature and no crowds at the 9 Palms beach. Learning surfing was so fun. Our 9 and 11 year olds were so happy after. It was a great experience from start to finish. Emil picked us at the hotel with fresh coffee and drove us to an awesome wave. Lessons were very helpful and had an awesome time surfing. They had great snacks, drinks and even better advice about the surfing the waves. We will be back for more on our next trip.

This half day lesson and surfing was awesome. Martin is an excellent and patient teacher and an extremely knowledgeable waterman. Pick up and drop off to and from my hotel was easy. Really glad I did it as I lucked out being the only student for the day. Martin helped me understand balance on the board before surfing in the water. He helped me with a lot of much needed correction in the water, picked the waves that were good for my level and let me surf as long as I wanted which for me was until my arms could no longer paddle. East Cape was picked out for my lesson which is the perfect location for my level (a beginner) while pointing out some of the other beaches in Cabo. I got a great lesson on what a point break was and how to avoid getting hurt when I fell in shallow water no matter where I am. Well worth it and a great representation of the surf community.

Martiin is one of those people when you meet him you instantly feel he is a genuine person who cares about your experience. Martin went above and beyond making sure our family was setup for surfing with food and drinks, a personal cameraman and lessons that far exceeded anything my kids have done. I would recommend this tour to anyone, even if you're timid in getting in the water. 10 stars out of 5. Thanks Martin we will be seeing you again soon!

It has been a year since I last surfed with Martin and this time was just as amazing as the last! He took great care of myself and my friends especially, who were absolute beginners to the sport. There were a couple close calls with some rocks on a low (rising) tide at Nine Palms so maybe some extra care on giving instructions for when and where to start paddling for the wave would be great.

This was by far one of the best excursions I’ve ever done. They picked us up directly at our accommodations and took us to the beach where we learned the basics of surfing. We each had our own instructor and they were very cool and great teachers. They brought a ton of great food and drinks for us to eat/drink throughout the trip. We weren’t even able to eat everything because it was truly a ton of food! Everything was very well thought out and planned to the point where we just had to show up. There were chairs under umbrellas for us to sit and take a break in the shade when needed. We also had professional photos sent to us the day after the lesson and they came out great. Martin (the owner) is a great instructor and all around awesome dude. Really glad to have found this business and will absolutely be coming back next year to take another lesson and also try out some of his guided scuba diving excursions.

Martin and his group did a great job for our party of four. It was a first class operation. They provide everything you need for a great half day or full day.

Had an absolutely fantastic Christmas Day surfing with Martin and friends! Everything was great, from the convenient pickup/dropoff from our resort, to the surfing experience, the clutch prepared food once we (inevitably) got hungry, to the great photos sent to us after the trip. From a surfing perspective, Martin really provided useful training and concepts that help those that aren't as experienced. My 3 sons and I are pretty inexperienced, and after a brief session - along with the tireless efforts of Martin and crew to help "get you going" on the waves - we were all able to catch some waves on a beautiful day. As mentioned, a full team showed up to give mostly one-on-one support to each of us, in addition to taking a LOT of really high quality pictures. To top it all off, everyone was really friendly, and it felt like a fun day at the beach with some friends. We have done similar surfing excursions before in Hawaii and Puerto Rico, and I can tell you without hesitation this was by far the best experience we have ever had in every aspect. If you're in Cabo and considering going on a day out to a beach for some surfing, I cannot recommend Cabo Surf Tours enough.

This was an incredible experience! all of the instructors were super knowledgable and had great energy throughout the trip. When we arrived at the beach, they had chairs and snacks set up for us already! I felt like I learned a ton and had such a fun time with the whole team. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting the area!

I got my nephews and brother surf lessons and they had a blast! The boys have been surfing once before and they said this was way better. All four of them were up and riding real waves thanks to Martin and crew’s excellent instruction. Worth every penny.

Being my first time in Cabo but not my first surf lesson/coaching session, Cabo Surf Tours was by far the best group I’ve had the pleasure of surfing with! Martin, Tufic, and Juan didn’t make you feel like another customer but like part of their crew. From picking you up, having a whole beach day setup for you, to getting some of the best explanations of techniques to better your skills it was all really above and beyond. There wasn’t any time pressure or awkwardness, it was just like surfing with your own posse. Healthy snacks and shade were provided when taking a break, a quick glance and laughs over your photos, surf advice was given, and you were free to get back at it until YOU felt like YOU were done. Overall a 10/10 experience, highly recommended. Left me motivated and I will definitely be back! Thanks again guys for everything!!

Our surf lesson tour with Martin and his team was an A+++! Martin was a wonderful host, driver, teacher for our half day lesson at Cerritos beach. He adjusted the time of our lesson due to the tide and it made such a big difference and we were very grateful for this. His team was exceptional too. We found them patient, encouraging, and fun. We highly recommend this and are telling all our friends to book a tour with Martin if possible.
