The holiday was amazing! We stayed around one week with 6 days surfing lessons. The instructors were professional and very patient. I and my friend were not very adapted to the water sport, but they kept encouraging us generously. And we finally made it! Just reeeally don't underestimate the sun there... Besides, staying in the hostel was also nice. All the staffs were very friendly! The food was great! Targine, music, board games, or just chill... Btw, sand boarding excursion in the desert is the "you must do thing" here. The views were just breathtaking.

Incredible place! A real Moroccan house in a lovely village. The food was incredible and local. Place very clean and kept. Without any doubt the best aspect of "Original Surf Morocco" are the people running the place and the surf instructors. Since the first day I felt like home and they treated me as a friend. I will for sure come back to see them again. I recommend this place to everyone who want to surf in Morocco.

I'm usually skeptical when I see a lot of 5 star reviews for any place/service due to fake reviews, but having spent last week at Original Surf Morocco, I can confirm this place is legit :) Everything was amazing and very well done from the outset, from the booking to the surfing to the food to the rooms. The instructors were very good at selecting surf spots depending on the best conditions, and the group sizes (max 6 per instructor) allowed us to really learn and improve every day. But what made my stay so special in particular was the warmth and kindness of all the staff who went above and beyond to accommodate any needs I had, from Hamid (on front desk) to Abdel and Houssine (instructors), Omar (cook), Ahmed/Mohammed (drivers) and others who I didn't catch the names of. This is especially so as it was Ramadan when I visited so they were fasting during the day. The other guests were also super friendly and easy to get along with, which made for a really nice and relaxed vibe. I wouldn't describe it as a party hostel but it was a lot of fun at the same time. Tamraght is quite chill which is great depending on what you're looking for, and it's only a short taxi ride away from Taghazout which is livier and more touristy e.g. if you want to go out in the evening. But overall, a really great surf camp in a beautiful part of the world. I would love to visit again one day!

The whole experience of staying at Original and being part of the scheme they have put together has been absolutely fantastic. The staff, the activities, the food, the atmosphere and the service are of the best quality. I'm already planning my next trip here.

After 3 times in 9months visiting original i think it's time to leave a review. The reasons why i always come back to this place is many! I just love the vibe at the hostel, the food, the team, and the surfspots. I am already planning my 4th trip. I would never go back to a place so many times if it wasn't AMAZING.

It was really nice staying at Original Surf Morocco. It's close to the beach, so great for few days of surfing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food changed every day and it was always very tasty.

I’ve been there for a surfing week in the middle of September. I felt at home the whole time: the camp’s people are very friendly and kind, always available for every necessities. The place is quite and the view is great! I’ll come back for sure!

There are at least twenty surf camps in Tamraght and dozens more up and down the Moroccan coast. With so much choice, how do you decide? You might start by asking yourself what you want from a camp. Let’s say you want comfortable accommodations (private or shared) with great food and lots of it – who doesn’t want that? If you have your own gear, great, but let’s say you don’t and so you want good equipment at your disposal. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to get up at the crack of dawn and drive for an hour to the beach. Maybe you’re the same. And like me, maybe you want friendly, useful instruction with feedback based on film evidence of your performance. Or, maybe you just want to surf and be left alone. But when you’re done for the day, it’s nice to have the option to spend some time with folks who also spent their day on the waves and share some stories. Okay, if that’s what you want, you can have it for 75€ a night (85€ if you want yoga too) at the Original Surf Morocco camp. A decent hotel (3 star) is 75€ in many places – and that’s without food. And no matter where you live, if you drive a mid-size car, it takes most of 75€ to fill it up. In other words, Original Surf Morocco is good value for the money. I can say that with confidence because I just spent a week there. I spent five or six hours a day at the beach with Ayoub and Taher, the camp instructors, we all did. And they pushed us and showed us how to be better. They were patient when we needed them to be and willing to give us time to work alone. And always, at the beach and around the camp in the evening, they were fun, they made the camp a welcoming place to be. The same was true of Abdellah, who handles the management side of things, and the staff who prepare the food, drive the vans, and keep the place running. I don’t know what you might experience at other surf camps in Tamraght. I do know that the Original Surf Morocco has great people and offers its guests a first-rate experience at a fair price. The location was a quick walk to the beach. The accommodations were great. The food was fantastic. The instructors were knowledgeable. They coaches were able to give great advise. We had a minor medical problem and they helped us to take care of it. They were so patient with us! Helpful, kind, knowledgeable folks. Highly recommend.

A fantastic experience in a lovely hostel. The surf guides put so much care and effort into finding good waves for me. Whether that was starting early in the morning or finding a sunset surf spot or even driving for over an hour to check 7 different spots to make sure I got the best available waves. The hostel is clean and comfy with relaxed, friendly and welcoming staff and mountains of delicious food.

Super recommended! The staff is very attentive, the food is delicious and and the location is very good if you want to go around. The region is great for surfing (all levels) but you can also go visit the local market, the desert or the skatepark. Everything is around 20-30min drive. I went there with a group of arround 14 people. The staff took very good care of all of us, respecting dieat restrictions and different surfing levels and expectations.

I was very confortable in the house. All the staff was very welcoming, flexible and kind. Very local and not crowded, I had the chance to telework and surf in the afternoons. Wifi works very well. They adapt a lot to your needs and surf teachers were extremely professional and experienced. The house is really nice with beautiful views in sunsets. I would encourage anyone who want to learn surf and has a local experience to go to Original Surf Morocco.

I had an amazing time surfing with Original Surf Morroco. Hushem and Mohamed were great teachers, giving useful feedback which helped me improve so much through out the week. I managed to catch some great waves by the end! The teachers were also fun to hang out with and made us feel very welcome. Also a special thanks Hamid, Omar, Abdullah and Sam.

For everyone who wants to surf and forget the outside world. Perfect place for solo traveler or a group where you can meet like-minded people. Skillful teachers and helpful staff took care of all the necessities and made my stay really enjoyable. As a beginner I made big progress in surfing thanks to skillful teachers. I also recommened to visit nearby places and join their organised outside activities - lot of fun :) when visiting Morocco I would definitely like to come back

We stayed at the Original Surf Morocco for 11 nights and could not recommend the place highly enough! The house was clean, terrace perfect for chilling in the afternoon/evening, the food plentiful and delicious and Bob went out of his way to cater for all our needs (I would have brought him home if I could!). Surf classes were great and allowed the kids to have an active holiday as well as giving us adults a chance to have some R&R time. Hisham, and the yoga instructor Freya were great with the kids and spent most of each day with us and were a pleasure to spend time with. Omar collected us from the airport, transported us to and from the beach, took us for smoothies at the end of the day; ferried is to the bus stop and collected us when we took a weekend trip to Marrakesh etc. Any extras were charged at a reasonable rate, so I didn’t even need to do any washing whilst away 😊! Nothing was too much trouble. They really did make our holiday so special and we really enjoyed all the little extras, like a hike up the hill behind to see the view from the top and a beach party one night. Thank you for all the memories we already miss you!

It was really cool! It was much better than in previous surfcamp in Bali. Thank you a lot Original Surf Morocco for the best time. Firstly, because of people in this surfcamp - Abdellah, Khisham, Omar and Buba. They created a special atmosphere. Everything was amazing. Tasty breakfast and dinner, incredible serfing experience, amazing view from the terrace of the surfcamp! Highly recommend! I will come back to catch big waves, my friends

We had a great experience in Original surf. The food was tasty, specially breakfast and dinner, served in a relaxing, comfortable and colourful setting on the roof terrace. The chef was great, preparing many surprises during our 5 days stay, including a local tagine which we had taken to the beach as it was Ramadan and it was a local custom to have a dinner on the beach followed by a fire making ritual. Our surf instructor was very attentive to our needs and pushing us hard to catch as many waves as possible. The driver was amazing, patiently waiting for us to take us wherever we wanted to go.

I love this! Ive decieded to try surfing for the first time so i spent one week in this great house thank you once more Abde, i really enjoyed your services and kindness. Your teachers were good men! And kitchen was so delicious! Martin the wolfy one :D

Nous avons passé 4 jours avec Original Surf pour nos premiers pas en surf. Quelle superbe aventure! Les cours de surf sont de qualité (nous n’étions jamais monté sur une planche) et permettent d’avoir du plaisir rapidement. Les instructeurs sont disponibles, parlent anglais et/ou français et s’y connaissent très bien dans leur domaine. Les journées de surf sont bien remplies et on peut profiter allègrement des vagues. Dans le pack, tout est inclus : repas, nuitée, transfert aux points de surf et matériel. En termes de rapport qualité prix, on ne peut faire mieux. Les repas sont riches, authentiques, cuisinés avec soin et adaptés aux clients (je suis végétarienne). Par ailleurs, le guesthouse est charmant, les chambres propres et accueillantes. Un filtre à eau est disponible dans la maison, ce qui évite d’acheter des bouteilles d’eau. Finalement, l’ambiance et l’accueil des gérants, des instructeurs, du chauffeur et du cuisinier sont inégalables et nous avons passé de super moment. Je n’hésiterai pas à y retourner!
