Absolutely fantastic experience. Our guide was delightful very informative about the area and the birdlife. Dragon (our guide) took lots of photos for us. Total recommend this trip it's a great way to see the old town and the surrounding area.

The sunset kayak tour was the highlight of our stay in Hoi An. Tam was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable and friendly - and we learnt a lot from him about the area, life on the river for the local people and the history of Hoi An. You get to see a completely different side to the area which you miss if not on the river.

Very nice kayak tour! Long was a very good guide even taking pictures for us during the tour. It was a nice way to discover the river around Hoi An. So peaceful at moments! The ride is long (8km upstream) but there is several times that the tour takes you to small canals that are very calm and the water is nice.

Our guide Long was super helpful, friendly, attentive and informative. It was an awesome way to experience a different side of Hoi An. We had to paddle 8 km against the current but for 2 women over 50 we found it manageable. Loved the experience. Thank you so much Long!

This was such a great idea to do as a family. We loved kyaking through the coco palms and seeing the bird life. It was great to view life along the river and have people wave at you. Our guide, Quang, was very knowledgeable and had great English so he could share this knowledge with us. It was an easy paddle in the two person kyaks with a 12y/o and 14y/o. You could easily do this with younger children too. I would highly recommend this activity to see life from a different perspective.

The tour was amazing, we had a fair amount of rain over night which had the river swollen with water. Our tour guide tam was very good, spoke good English, was knowledgeable with the local area and was very calm and understanding with the experienced kayakers in our group. Tour topped off with a brilliant coconut coffee at a local family restaurant. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Lovely relaxing kayak trip. Nice activity together with the kids. We paddled along with the tide, so need to break a sweat. Sunset views on Hoi An were awesome.

We did a kayak tour with Quang, and were lucky enough to have the tour all to ourselves... this tour was the highlight of Hoi An for us! The route is one way, which means it never gets boring, it takes you away from the heavy traffic on the river and through small rivers and past fishing villages, stop on a beach before heading to ancient town for a drink and disembark. It was scorching hot that day in Hoi An, and we were a bit worried but the palms and trees along the river provide plenty of shade, and watching the sunset over ancient town is stunning. Quang was a great guide, great English, knew heaps about the flora and fauna and introduced us to life for those living on the islands, and we all had a great laugh throughout. The kayaks are very stable and there was no problem having our phones out taking photos the whole time, so make sure you bring them! Thanks again Quang

Very nice few hours exploring some of the back waters before finishing in the old town. Interesting contrast between the touristy area and the simple fishing villages. Well organised and efficient collection from hotel.

Booked this trip thinking it would be a cruisey paddle and float around up at the old town with the lantern boats. The beginning was great and easy, cruising through one of the island canals amongst the jungle and seeing lots of crabs. Then it became very difficult once we were on the main arm of the river. The tandem kayak is very difficult to keep straigh and we zig zagged the whole way and it was atleast a 6km paddle in currents that was exhausting. We are both moderately fit people. If you have never kayaked before or are not fit I would not recommend this trip. Our guide however was amazing and tried to assist us wherever he could. Once we made it to lantern town, we weren’t allowed to enter because it was after 5pm. So I believe the description of the tour needs updating because the lanterns don’t come out until sunset and afterwards when it’s dark. Still a good tour, was just very physically challenging and now what we expected. Tour 2.5/5. Guide 5/5.

Tour guides were great but due to weather our trip was cut short and was very difficult. We have kayaked before but due to the wind and rain we had to stop and get a car to the end. I’m sure this would be great if the weather is calm, but check ahead. You are not in a solo kayak, you are in a double one, which would not have been my preference.

Everything perfectly prepared. Our Kayak guide was very friendly and polite. We had enough time for fotos. It was amazing experience.
