This was my first time riding a Segway, which was fun. They give you a few minutes to get used to it before starting the tour. Our tour guide provided limited information about the places we stopped and it was not very easy to understand his English. In fairness, I was more focused on making sure I didn't run into anything or anyone than enjoying the different areas we stopped to view.
what a great tour,so funny on the segways and they were easy to ride, the tour guide jeremy was great fun aswell.
Fun and informative and you get to see parts of Madrid that you wouldn't have time to see on foot. And, the Segway is VERY easy to ride!
This tour was fantastic! The training on how to ride was excellent, the machines performed beautifully, and because we were the only ones that night, our guide let us suggest what we wanted to see. He spoke excellent English and provided great commentary and history on the area. I am 64 and my husband 72, and it was so much fun to ride up and down the hills at the end of the day! We went all the way to the Temple of Debod to watch the sunset!
The tour guide was very good. Although there were times he kept going on about the history of Madrid. Overall it was a great experience. If you are going on the Segways in January/February take some gloves. It was pretty cold whizzing around on them. Very easy to use. A great way to view the city on the first day. We covered loads of ground as we went back to a few places by foot and the distance is quite far.
We did the segway tour in the evening as a group of 8 family members. The guide was very helpful and reassuring during the familiarisation session. During the tour he explained things in a very good manner and had a good level of English. He took us to some very good attractions, including the Royal Palace and Cathederal. I would deffinately book this again as it gave us a good insight to some nice attraction quickly, without getting too tired.
Even though I'd visited the places before the info the tour guide gave made it all seem brand new. Seeing as my wife and I had never been on a segway the training was great.
Despite selecting the English option we were placed in a mixed group. The tour guide spent twice the amount of time translating between two languages hence less time on the Segway's and fewer sites visited.
This was a fantastic tour and a great way to experience a slice of Barcelona.
So much fun! Guide was knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our requests. Only downside was that the starting point was a bit hard to find. Better directions please!
I enjoyed this so much. My guide wasn't the best in terms of depth of knowledge of the sites we visited, but i still had a lot of fun. It's a fun way to view the city. I recommend it.
The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Great tour!
Great and very interesting tour around the city center. Waiting the moment to repeat again.
This was an incredibly fun tour covering the majority of the best sites in Madrid. I loved travelling through the cobbled lane ways and side streets, the sedgways themselves are very fast and intuitive. The guides make sure that your fully prepared before racing through the streets, so you need not worry if you've never used one before. The guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and spent much more time with my friend and I than the 90 minute tour we initially paid for. This is a brilliant experience to have in Madrid, it is also much better priced than most sedgway tours we found. Do it, you wont regret it.
I would recommend this tour for those who want a different perspective of Madrid. It does a good job of combining fun with history while on the move. Usually with a walking tour you may get tired after some time, but since it is done via the segway I think getting tired is tough to do. The one thing I wished was that the tour was a bit longer. Our tour was 1hr but I think 1.5hrs is the sweet spot.
