The guide was great, even though he didn’t speak any English at all. They took us to this house in the middle of nowhere, then it was a 40 minute horse-ride through busy streets with cars, and muddy dirt roads to get to the beach which was completely overrun with trash and kelp. I wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone because the pictures aren’t really what you get and it’s DEFINITELY not at sunset. With that being said, the tour guide did his best for us to have fun. Took a bunch of pictures for us, and it was still an enjoyable tour. Just don’t expect white sandy beaches.

Our horseback riding experience was absolutely wonderful! My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to be the only two people for our reservation, so that was nice and led to a more personalized experience. The driver picked us up and took us to a gift shop where we got to sample Dominican coffee and Mama Juana. We bought some souvenirs that were a bit cheaper than the ones for sale at our hotel. Then we were driven to the beautifully landscaped ranch. There were so many beautiful plants and flowers at the ranch, it was breathtaking. There is a small shop/building where were able to sample more of their mama Juana and there were various Dominican made items (herbs, spices, cocoa butter, etc.) available for purchase. We were introduced to our photographer for the day and he took some pictures while we were in the shop. We then were brought back to meet our horses and went on our way to the beach. Our tour guide was friendly although there was a bit of a language barrier. This wasn’t really a problem because my boyfriend is bilingual. We had so much fun on the horses and they would gallop which was very cool to experience. The photographer took pictures of us along the trail to the beach. He helped us to pose (which thank god because posing on a horse was new for me!) and the pictures turned out great. Once we got to the beach, we got off our horses to stretch our legs. We looked for sea shells, found some crabs, and skipped rocks on the water. Then we went on our journey back through the trail and through town to the ranch. Overall it was such a nice experience and a highlight of our trip. Definitely recommend this group! They were so friendly and made us feel comfortable. We will definitely book with them again when we return!

Overall, this was a great experience for us. There's some things we wish we understood prior, but nothing that makes me want to give this less than 5/5. Our driver, Wascar, picked us up at our hotel Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. It was about a 40 minute drive to the horse ranch, and Wascar kept good conversation with us the whole time. The drive took us on some main highways, and eventually through a small town with a lot of locals out on the street. We drove down a long dirt road to the ranch, and parked. At the ranch, we played with some puppies for a few minutes, then Wascar gave us a brief tour of all the tropical trees that were there, from passionfruit to cacao to sugarcane. After that, he took us to our horses. There wasn't a lot of training before we were up on the horses. At this point, Wascar left us with our guide, Eddie. There was definitely a language barrier here, but it was clear Eddie cared and was ready to help. We took the horses back down the long dirt road, out into and through the aforementioned town, and then into the forest of the Dominican Republic. This was about a 30 minute horseback ride by itself. Eventually, we hit the beach. Eddie, the professional that he is, initiated a photoshoot for my husband and I-- individual pictures and couple pictures, on the horses. We started moving down the beach more toward an inlet. Eddie had us dismount the horses, and we spent some time just strolling the beach on foot. Eddie taught us how to skip rocks on the water, and then took some more couples photos for us, both with and without the horses. After about 20 minutes, we got back on, and made our back to the ranch-- another half hour horseback ride. When we got back, the owner of the ranch gave us bottled water, and offered us the restroom as well as a tour around the gift shop. We hopped back in the car with Wascar, and he returned us to the hotel. Incredible service by Wascar and Eddie!

We LOVED this horseback riding trip! The family running the horse ranch is wonderful and the seeing the sunset over the ocean while horseback riding was amazing! We highly recommend this experience!!

A unique experience that combines adventure and relaxation. From riding the waves to enyoying the calm atmospherere of macau, this tour has it all. I woul recomend it to anyone visiting punta cana looking for something different and exciting.

We explored the charming town of macau during our horseback riding. It was great to see the daily life of the local people and feel the authenticity of the Dominican culture. I recommend visiting this town during your stay in punta cana.

Incredible horseback riding along the beach of punta cana at sunset. The view were sttunning and the feling. Of riding across the sand as the sun set was magical. Defitely an experience you can't miss in punta cana!

What a true experience. Started with a trip to the farm with two locals who shared some Dominican coffee. Then we headed to the farm where we met our guide and photographer. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel at ease and guided through the whole experience.

The views were amazing, we took so many photos. The team made you feel safe, comfortable and were very accommodating. Provided some local recommendations of things to do, local restaurants etc. Nothing but good things to say A+ service! Thank you!

We had a great time riding horses as a family. The staff were experienced and friendly. We traveled with inexperienced riders and they took great care to make sure we had the horse experience. The ride was about two hours and the trail ranges from countryside to the ocean and back through the jungle. We had fun singing with our guides and learning about Dominican ranch life. Our driver Wascar, was friendly and chatty. He clued us in on the tourist opportunities. The photos were affordable and beautiful. We would visit again. And bring our friends.

My kids and I had a really memorable time. It was a neat experience getting to see a different part of the Dominican, as well as riding the beautiful horses.

Staff was friendly and timely. However, when buying a private, sunset horseback riding session for my boyfriend and I, I thought it would be a bit more intimate and romantic. However, we definitely saw other groups along the way especially on the beach. And when you make it onto the beach, you only stay there for about 10-20 minutes while they make you do forced poses for the professional pictures they try to sell you (they’ll start trying to haggle with you at $100 btw…). We did not stay for a sunset at all and it was hard to get photos on your own phone or enjoy the beach/horses. The route along the way was fine but narrow and full of poop and pee. I just wish it was more accurate to the description of the excursion and that it was more pleasant. Overall, would not really recommend and if anything, maybe just opt to the regular horseback riding session to save your money since this wasn’t really special.

My boyfriend and I booked this excursion because of the great reviews. We had a great time and it was our favorite part of the trip. HIGHLY recommend. We were picked up right from our airbnb and taken to the ranch. Once we got there, we got a shot of Mama Juana and then hopped on horses! There was no BS, no talking for 30 min before we started, we literally just got there and got on horses immediately. We rode the horses out of the ranch, down the road, and onto a trail to the beach. The scenery was amazing. If I could make one suggestion, I would ask that we got a little more instruction about how to steer the horses. We had never ridden horses before and were a bit confused at first because our guides didn't speak English. We were able to figure it out after a while though and it was absolutely fine. It did not feel rushed at all -- we were on the horses for a while! We did not pay for a private tour, but it ended up just being my boyfriend and I. A few of the workers speak English, others only speak Spanish. They were all extremely friendly. There was a photographer -- we didn't end up buying the pictures but we did look at them and they were great. At the end, they showed us some of the other animals on the ranch -- chicks, puppies, etc. There is also a little shop with lots of souvenirs, but they did not pressure us to buy anything, which we appreciated. All in all, this was a 10/10 excursion. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommended it to anyone who feels a little adventurous!

This was an amazing experience. We were picked up outside of our resort and taken to the ranch. The ranch is adorable with puppies and horses and a quaint gift shop. We did the small group experience and there was an other family with us. We got on horses and they gave each family a guide so it actually felt like a private experience. They were so patient and accommodating. We rode the horses out of the ranch and on the street until we got to the trails to the beach. They had a photographer on a motorcycle waiting for us to snap picks at great photo spots all along the way. The beach was beautiful and was next to a river estuary. They got great poses photos and then we headed back through the back of a little village street before a brief walk on the road again. Once we were back at the ranch and dismounted they offered the photos for sale and had a quick download available of all of the photos, which were awesome. The driver took us back to the resort and dropped us off at our hotel door. A wonderful experience beginning to end.

Like to thank Vanessa, our pickup driver from the resort for getting us there safely. I was impressed with our tour guy, knew the horses inside and out, and kept a close eye on us. Horses are well looked after. Photographer was amazing. Not only taking great photo of us, but was a great guild as well ,happy go lucky. Loved the walk through the little town prior to our walk to the ocean, great look at the culture. Amazing people. We truly enjoyed the experience from stare to finish. We would book again ! Good people!!

Was at is the best the ranch is new and they have a big place we’re you can see different fruits. They have around 40 horses. And you can see the place where the horse eat and and where they stay. I really recommend because you can see the habitat of the horses. They really care of them
