This was a great trip from start to finish and really added some lovely memories to our holiday in Latvia. Armand was on time to collect us, very friendly and chatty and was attentive to our needs the whole time. He knew so much about Latvian history and nature and was very willing to answer any questions and share his expertise. I don’t think you could ask him a question he doesn’t know the answer to! We were so lucky and had the whole Kemeri Park to ourselves as we arrived so early in the morning, it was so beautiful and peaceful. I really recommend even in winter, the snow made the whole park look even more amazing

- pick up at stay - friendly and chatty Tourguide (he used to also doing free walking tours - so lots of interesting facts 24/7) - water and snacks included - overall 10/10 experience - (we are a couple from Berlin, nice experience for sure)

The view in the morning is truly stunning. Don't be stopped from booking because it might be foggy, that actually looks even more amazing! Our guide Vilnis was funny and nice, we had a good time on the tour. As a professional photographer he took some pictures (including of us) that he later edited and shared with us, which was so kind! Thank you again for that! Eventhough we were hoping to learn a bit more about the Kemeri park itself, Vilnis could tell us a lot about Latvia and its people, which was really interesting.

The tour was really a unique experience. Kemeri National Park was simply an absolute highlight. Unfortunately, we did not have optimal weather that day, but that did not diminish the fascination of the place. Vilnis made our day even more beautiful with his expertise and friendly manner. I can recommend the tour to everyone, if he is a friend of nature and likes to hike. Simply wonderful!

Do this at the start of your trip! This was an incredible and unforgettable experience. It was just my partner and I on this tour and very few others around during sunrise. It was absolutely serene and stunningly beautiful. The landmarks and scenery in Jurmala were also breathtaking and captivating. Our guide Vilnis was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. His English was excellent and he was able to give us a lot of meaningful background information that you simply never get on your average tour. He went out of his way to give us advice and suggestions; with no shortage of insight about all things Latvian. Don’t pass this tour up!

Peaceful, somewhat otherworldly landscape. Sunrise was beautiful and it was only us and some wildlife there to enjoy it.

Do this tour. The bog is a uniquely beautiful place and made even more so during the sunrise. We were lucky enough to have a really still morning with some fog and a really clear sky. The sunrise was beautiful and we had some amazing views. We also did an early morning swim on the beach which was refreshing and also really beautiful and peaceful. The tour guide we had krista was amazing , had the perfect amount of knowledge but was never boring , really funny and personable. The drive through jurmala and kemeri were very interesting and entertaining. Krista gave us great information and recommendations of things to do in riga. Probably the best tour guide we've ever had.

Don't take the train!....but if you do, be aware that there are no people (the station is unmanned) and no information about getting to Kemeri National Park/Bog Trail. There is a road sign across the street from the station that shows which direction to walk--which is opposite the direction for the tourist information center. And, despite advice to the contrary, there is no bicycle concession at the train station. If I'd had a bike or a car, it would have been a better trip. Walking from the train station to Kemeri, around the shorter loop and back to the train station was 10 kilometers (6 miles). Take bug spray!

The tour was great, and the trip in Kemeri National Park was wonderful. Janis was a wonderful guide. The highlight was definitely the sunrise at Kemeri, but it was also lovely seeing different parts of Jurmala. Definitely worth getting up early for!

This was a perfect day from start to finish. Krista is the most loveliest guide and host you could imagine. I enjoyed it so much and had so much fun, good conversation and some laughs too! We were lucky it was an amazing sunrise but this place would be magical no matter what the weather was. A visit to Kemeri National Park is a must and Krista is full of knowledge on both the park and Latvia in general. I learned so much. If I could give this six stars I would! Thank you again Krista!

Krista was a fantastic, knowledgeable guide that really got us immersed in Latvian history and culture. All of my many questions were answered in great detail along with tips on places to go for the rest of our trip. Krista’s English is impeccable so communication was easy. The tour had a wide variety of nice scenery to view along with visits to towns, forests and cities. I would love to come back and do it again in the summertime and I would thoroughly recommend this tour to all.

This was such a incredible tour and I would recommend to anyone visiting Riga. Krista was a lovely guide and full of information and very chatty, which was nice as I was travelling by myself. The scenery was beautiful and although we didn’t see the sunrise because of the clouds, it was still stunning. If I came back to Riga this is the first thing I would book - I would love to see the bog again at a different point in the year.

Krista was a brilliant guide! Informative and most of all super friendly! Unfortunately it was cloudy in the morning so I couldn't truly appreciate the sunrise at Kemeri national park, but it was still beautiful in it's own eerie way. Krista was also happy to extend the tour (for a fee of course) to show me some other destinations I'd always wanted to see in Latvia and they didn't disappoint.

This sunrise tour was the absolute highlight of our trip to Latvia! Krista is an amazing guide, extremely kind and helpful. She told us a lot of interesting stuff not only about the bogs but Latvia in general. Also the bogs at sunrise are probably one of the most magical views in my life. It is absolutely worth the early waking up, gorgeus morning.

This is Number 1 trip in Latvia! You cannot visit the country without seeing the bog. Great guide who will tell you all about the nature and the area and leaves you discover the place in your own time! Literally the best trip I had since years!
