Absolutely fabulous. The tour guides were very knowledgable and made the whole experience very spooky and unnerving with a good shot of humour thrown in.

We booked it as a group tour and Shiverpool were so very accommodating with our request. Everybody who went along were both educated and entertained during the 90 mins tour which certainly flew by. It was great fun and everyone was surprised and enchanted by the stories and sights in the secret garden which is directly in front of the Anglican Cathedral but none of us had ever seen before.

Briliant Best thing we did in Liverpool! Entertaining, fun, slightly creepy no silly jump scares, we will be back next year to try a different one.

A fantastic experience for my wife and I. The guides were very passionate about the cemetery and its residents. A really interesting and informative tour with a good balance of humor and creepiness. A hidden gem among many in Liverpool and definitely worth the time.

Absolutely fantastic experience. We didn't he Hope Street Shivers tour as part of the Sunday night special deal. It was so well organised and executed. The cast were fantastic. This is a must do activity whether you are visiting the city or a resident. Everyone was included and the tour was informative as well as hugely entertaining.

I spent 3 nights solo visiting Liverpool, as my other half isn't into anything supernatural, and my main draw for coming was I love everything strange and have read all of Tom Slemen's Books based in Liverpool so of course I booked myself on two tours so I could see and learn about the darker side of Liverpool. Chiller Black and her Brother Indiana Bones were great and so funny I loved both tours. The tours were both very different to each other and if you have the time then I would recommend doing both of them. I wont give too much away but watch out for the The Goblin and the Holy Water. Has anyone already said “funny as hell”? If not, I’ll go first. A very charming, funny and alluring way to tell the most gruesome and saddening stories of the city’s past. The performance was amazing and I could feel the Liverpool that was right around me (…again). Would recommend, especially considering the darker times that’ll come next (talking about the autumn here, not the current government agenda).

Amazingly exciting, interesting and just a joy to listen to Chiller Black! Would recommend anytime if you're into ghost walks and horror stories.

Great evenings entertainment, we all really enjoyed listening to our main host, Chilla Black. The team were great at adding comedy and scares to some interesting tales about the gardens. Even some bats came out, adding to the atmosphere! We would definitely recommend for something a little bit out of the ordinary, and wouldn't hesitate to look up one of the other tours on another visit back to the city. My wife and I did the Secret Garden and Cemetery Shivers tour. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The guides were excellent mixing facts about the tour with humour and all the time making it a great theatrical experience. This is the 4th time we've done a Shiverpool tour and every one has been a great evening out. Highly recommended!

I did the tour with my partner in February ‘23, and both of us had an amazing time! Our guide, Chiller Black, was both knowledgeable and entertaining, and despite it being a cold winter evening, I can’t think of a better way to spend a Thursday night. The tour was incredible value for money, and ran for about an hour and forty minutes. On top of this, we purchased an ‘ultimate’ ticket which included a large Shiverpool map, glow in the dark pin, and postcard, all inside of a gold foiled envelope. These were all high quality and extremely good value for money, and will be certainly proudly displayed I’d definitely check out some of their other tours in their future, and I’d be encourage everyone else to do the same!

Congratulations to Chilla and her elfine assistant! Thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable experience. Rates right up there with the best ghost walks we have joined all over Europe. Only four attendees, loads cancelled due to the wind, this only added to the atmosphere 👻😱. Love 'Chilla's' sense of drama and fun, those that cancelled really missed out! St James Secret Garden is an absolute must, especially at night 🌃. If you have time DO IT! You won't be disappointed. All the best Andrew and Danae x

A really good ghost tour starting at the philharmonic pub touring through, the Georgian quarter and ending at St James Cemetery. Lots of ghostly tales from the very entertaining and engaging tour guides. Everyone was in good spirits. Just make sure you wrap up warm during this winter months. Well worth a tour. Went with partner his sister and her partner, December 21.

The tour was led by Chilla black and she was terrifyingly great! Excellent sense of humour and overall good fun and a laugh. Walk into the cemetery in the dark was fab, we had a grave digger waiting to send us off with his shovel! I can't wait to try different tours! Highly recommend this one.

It all started in the rain, but whatever you do, don't let that put you off. There must have been 30+ other brave souls who decided to brave the elements and the tour. The wonderful Chiller Black arrived with her sidekick Jacqueline Hyde, then fun really began. Chiller welcomed everyone as they arrived with a smile and a wickedly witty comment. Then, once everyone had arrived, we were off along Hope St. heading towards the awe inspiring Anglican Cathedral. There were a few sights and stories along Hope St. Then it was the descent into the Necropolis. It was then that Chillers' sinister looking 'brother' Piers Morgue arrived on the scene with his spade, scaring a few as he did so. As we continued into the depths of the Necropolis Chiller recounted many stories that chilled and tugged at the heart strings. I could carry on but, you should go along find out for yourselves just how good it is! Chiller Black left us at the gates with a smile and great memories. All in all a great experience with the multi talented and knowledgeable 'Chiller'.

The guide was superb and so was the tour. Couldn't fault the whole thing, definitely recommend if your in Liverpool.

Myself, my wife and our son (17), attended last weeks tour. I can safely say this was one of the most engrossing, factually interesting and engaging tours we've done. The auditor was professional, full of satire and wonderful. She included everyone in the group, plus folks who walked past and who were inside bars, and restaurants (you had to be there lol!). I'd firmly recommend this for anyone who likes to be looked after but also hugely entertained. A
