The Visit Lanka Tours are a company which is well organised , efficient and very helpful . The minibus was new and had air conditioning and was extremely comfortable for the 8 day tour. We upgraded to 4* hotels which were amazing and beyond my expectations and the food provided in the hotels and restaurants was delicious with a wide variety of choices offered. Sarath is an excellent driver and very knowledgeable about the places we visited although he is not a specialist tour guide. He is experienced , interesting and a very kind man. Our trip went very smoothly thanks to all the hard work of Sarath and his team. We saw a beautiful country with an abundance of fruit trees and paddy fields, ornate Buddhist temples and wild animals in sanctuaries. Sri Lanka is paradise We had great experiences and a lot of fun every day.

A Sri Lankan tour is only as good as your guide. There is so much to see and do, so an experienced, knowledgeable and friendly guide is critical. We cannot speak highly enough of Manju - he was exceptional in every aspect, from sorting lost luggage to sourcing the best rooms in the best places. He is a highly competent driver too, an essential in Sri Lanka where the buses are mad! He looked after us so well and was flexible to our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this gorgeous country and the whole experience was made so much more enjoyable because we chose Manju to guide us - he is outstanding - book him if you can, you'll be glad you did. We used this company on a driver only basis as we had already decided our itinerary. That said when we needed tickets or our entry and jeep for national park it was all taken care of. What a find… helpful, professional , flexible, reliable and great value, nothing was too much trouble. On arrival at Columbo airport our driver Sarath was there to meet us with a smile that lit up our arrival. From the word go he was charming, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. On arrival at our hotels he ensured all was well. He was just a call away if we wanted to amend arrangements. We spent 6 days with Sarath as our driver and We couldn’t have felt more safe. His driving was impeccable on roads that at times are interesting to say the least!. Sarath you are a true professional, such a kind man… thank you for ensuring 6 days of our 23 days in Sri Lanka ran so smoothly.

A trip of a lifetime to wonderful Sri Lanka. The 8 day tour allows you to experience some of the best locations visiting temples, caves, forts and wildlife reserves. Manju looked after us really well giving insights and information on the various activities. His driving was excellent.

Excellent 8 days tour, fantastic service, incredible experience. I strongly recommend Manju as a very carrying, client oriented, professional and very knowledgeable guide. Because of Manju’s dedication to his work we managed to see everything was planned despite 2 days heavy rain. He knew that we wanted safari experience. Yala national park was closed after rain, so he took us to another park 150 km further. Accommodation Manju selected for us was perfect. We never would be able to find these fantastic small hotels. U definitely recommend Manju and The visit lanka tours.

Visit Lanka tours has been much better than any large company could ever be. There is no risk. You are in safe hands. Our excellent driver and guide Manju was reliable, informative and helpful metaphorically holding your hand through some unforgettable experiences. He’s taken us to some amazing Sri Lankan owned hotels that we would never have found on our own - every one so different yet each with its own WOW factor! Manju has been driving tourists since 2009 and he’s really good at his job as well as being a nice person. 10/10 Five stars. Would recommend!

The tour was perfect from start to finish. Manju is a very safe driver and his vehicle was clean and comfortable for the 4 of us including luggage. The vehicle is cleaned at the end of every day and we were provided with bottles of water as needed. From Booking the trip in March there was excellent communication through WhatsApp and we only paid for the trip after we arrived in Sri Lanka. This was very trusting of Manju and shows how good he is. The value of the tour is exceptional and includes most trips, hotels on a half board basis and travel all over the island. There are certain extras to pay for but Manju always lets you know this and it’s up to you if you want to do the trips. We visited, temples, went on 2 safaris, climbed Sigirya Rock, experienced a tea plantation and went to places with the most amazing views. Manju also arranged for us to travel by train which was a bucket list journey. Manju is flexible and will always let you choose what you want to do. We did everything on his advertised list and more. Manju has even arranged a further day trip for us in our second week which we are spending by the beach. Nothing is too much trouble for Manju and I would thoroughly recommend taking a tour with him as his knowledge of Sri Lanka as a Sri Lankan is brilliant. Touring with my family is was important I felt safe for them and at all times we felt safe and met the most lovely Sri Lankan people. I must also mention the standard of the hotels was excellent with stunning locations. Manju is the best person you could do any tour in Sri Lanka with! Really comfortable, spacious and clean vehicle. Was very responsive to our flight delays and in good communication. Really went the extra mile in terms of ensuring we got on the train and was safe. He also made sure we got to do everything despite the weather! We saw lots of areas of Sri Lanka I wouldn’t have even thought about visiting before! He also gave us opportunities to do extra things not listed on the itinerary which was great. Personal highlights for me were the jeep safari, the herb garden and the tea plantations. I love that he chooses local hotels and businesses so we know our money is going into the local economy and not just into the pockets of chain tour operators. Hotel choices were absolutely spot on, so different but all lovely! I would 100% recommend and I would book with Manju again if I return to Sri Lanka.

This is your guide to pick! Manju was super organised from our first contact, double confirming where we wanted to go and had some great additions to the trip that really made the difference. Picking some superb hotels along the route and there for our every need and more. Great English and very knowledgable about everything we asked and everywhere we went. The most genuine guy with a great personality, caring that we had a great time and also about us a people, not just tourists on a trip. We felt safe every step of the way Super value for money and nothing was ever too much for Manju, who made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. We covered a vast and beautiful area of sri lanka via road. The journey entailed multiple waterfalls, tea and botanical gardens,turtle hatchery, spice gardens and fantastic hotel stays. Our guide and driver Manjula took care of all our needs. It was a great vacation.

Back home with such a wonderful memory of this trip. The Visit Lanka Tours is just the perfect choice, Manjula and Sugath were simply great! From the trip organization to every little detail, everything was extremely well organized and with the right amount of flexibility. We are used to self organize trip but, with Sugath relieving us from the timing and logistics organization, we could enjoy the full experience. The vehicle was very comfortable, Sugath a great driver and very skilled with guidance and suggestions, plus a very good company along the way, sharing experience and knowledge of the local culture. We loved the local accommodations and the smile of the Sri Lankan people. A special mention to the owner of the Daffodil's Inn for being so helpful with us, he definitely deserves some credit for our successful climb to the Adam's Peak. Everything was great, Dambulla Cave, Sigiriya Rock, the surprising Polonnaruwa, Kandy and the Tooth Relic, the unmissable train! Then Ella, Nine arch bridge and the tea plantations... everything is just unforgettable. Last but not least the safaris, we weren't that lucky with leopards but Sugath and our guide literally made their best to make it great and spot a lot of animals and birds. All in all, The Visit Lanka Tours team made this trip a real experience, no doubt for the 5 starts, and no doubt to recommend The Visit Lanka Tours to our friends (and any reader) and... why not... hopefully get back for another taste of Sri Lanka (and the just missed leopard).
