Mango Vacations guide Thili and driver Pavi did a superb job, quickly getting to know us and our interests. Their knowledge of history, places to visit and things to do really made the difference to our 19 day self booked holiday. Pavi's driving was superb given the multiple obstacle on the road and mad bus drivers! Thanks guys for being so attentive and flexible, I'd highly recommend them!

I just finished an 8 day tour with Lakee as guide and Amila as driver. I was traveling alone and both were always very friendly, took great care of me, showed me the country and its people and were always flexible and responded to my individual needs. I highly recommend touring beautiful Sri Lanka with Mango Vacations! I had a wonderful time with Hasanka for 10 days. I had originally booked a group tour, but it became a private tour, which made it possible for flexibility with the itinerary. This tour had a mix of everything - culture, history, scenery - and I enjoyed how everyday was different. There was plenty to see and do, but nothing felt too rushed. Whenever possible, Hasanka brought me to some additional places that were on the way. Overall, my favorites were the three hikes (Sigiriya Rock, Pidurangala, Little Adam's Peak), the Minneriya National Park safari, and the train ride to Ella. I got to meet all sorts of animals, including monkeys, elephants, and snakes! The accommodations were great in every place I stayed - each room was very comfortable and came with an amazing view. The owners and workers of each hotel and guest house were very friendly and helpful as well. Hasanka communicated the itinerary for each day clearly and made sure I had everything I needed, including a ride to the airport when the tour was over. Hasanka - thank you for explaining carefully about each place, sharing your stories, and patiently allowing me to take so many pictures! I am forever grateful for this experience, and I look forward to returning to Sri Lanka soon. Mahalo!

We decide to go to Sri Lanka anyway, the news is not the guideline, but our feeling. To be certain about fuel and transport, we booked a van with driver for the first 6 days. Mr. Vishwa is our driver :). We leave from Negombo, Mr Vishwa knows the places to have a drink on the way, at some hotspot, every question about Sri Lanka is answered in detail. Mr Vishwa drives relaxed between the busy traffic and you get to know each other a bit in a day. Okay, you want to run? On the way I get two phone calls from mr. Vishwa to check if everything is going well. From the next day it feels more like we are traveling together, mr Vishwa is not only the driver, but also knows how to organize the activities at the locations. And tells about Buddhism, the history and how people live now. All without intruding. It's our daughter's birthday and he even arranges a birthday cake, much appreciated. And on the way we see an elephant where he gives us the space to film and has respect for nature! Through the mountains he is taking into account the motion sickness. Our first experience with traveling with a driver is very positive because of mr Vishwa. He is respectful, helpful, a good driver and organizer. We will miss him regularly for the rest of our trip. And beside mr Vishwa, the bus and the organisation was perfect, clean, good music, wifi and enough space. A bus and driver to trust. On the way we changed the route a bit, all very easy to arrange and good communication.

Hasanka from Coconut tours, was everything we could ever need. Not only was he our driver and guide, he also went with us on many of the activities (hiking,rafting). He always found great places to eat. He even helped us find a good place to sleep when one of our hotels fell through. Hasanka also was able to get enough fuel even with the rampant shortages. He was always honest, decent, polite and your friend. After 18 days of travelling together, we will miss you Hasanka

We stayed in Sri Lanka for 10 days in the end of May/ beginning of June. And it was the experience of a lifetime and a unique, ultimate exotic journey for me. I was deeply impressed not only by the beauty of the country and its astonishing nature but most and foremost by the warmth and hospitality of its people. Our trip organised by the Mango travel agency included many cities and stays at different hotels. The route and all logistics including our overnight stays were well-thought-out and chosen thoroughly. During our adventurous journey, we were able to not only to visit a dozen of the most beautiful touristic places and cities of Sri Lanka but also experience a Safari tour, water rafting, a confidence jump, a tee ceremony and a thrilling train ride. On our way to Ella with the train, we past endless tee fields, lush stands of tropical forest, palm trees and miniature village train stations with tin roofs. It was a breathtaking ride which will remain embedded in my mind forever. The food in Sri Lanka was such an adventure and we were keen to try everything. Mixed rice, curry, hoppers, jackfruit curry, kottu, rotti and so many other things! My personal highlights were the Chill restaurant in Ella and the most authentic delicious Indian place in Nuwara Eliya - “Sri Ambal”. “Good morning! How was your sleep? How are you doing?” This was the first thing we heard from Vishwa when we met him in the morning. I have never met such a careful, thoughtful and patient guide. Vishwa is just in love with his job and we felt it every minute of our stay in Sri Lanka. Thanks to Vishwa we were able to get a deeper understanding of local people through unique experience. I can only say thank you very much Vishwa and the Mango team for this unique experience! If you ask me whether there were any difficulties or challenges during the trip, I wouldn’t not name any as I don’t remember them. I have only good memories and positive vibes from this first but definitely not last journey to Sri Lanka.

A holiday of a lifetime experiencing the amazing country of Sri Lanka. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer driver and guide than Vish to make our holiday so special. He is a caring, friendly and very patient person who has been incredibly helpful throughout our trip. All of the concern and worry of planning the holiday was removed as Mango Holiday arranged a great variety of excursions, sightseeing and sports opportunities for us. The hotels booked were absolutely amazing. Vish showed us a range of experiences and was specially flexible! Even when we asked, after having started the tour, to change the location for the last 3 nights, as there were heavy rains in the south and we preferred to go to the east coast. This wish was granted and we had the best holiday of our lives! Even though some hotels had problems due to the correct energy shortcuts, Vish would personally check every single hotel and even every single room upon arriving to make sure we got the very best! I have never experienced such a professional and dedicated guide and am completely awed. The time spent travelling in the car around the country did not feel like a waste of time as the views were so interesting and entertaining. Vish was also able to answer our endless questions about things we saw along our travels and provided useful explanations. And also fulfill our (multiple) wishes buy taking us to off road to local restaurants so we could avoid tourist traps and the try the most amazing traditional Singalese food and Tamil snacks! Sri Lanka has so much to offer and I have been blown away by just how incredible it is. The people are very friendly and I would recommend to anyone to take the time to visit the country’s sights! We are Brett and Jen from Australia. We booked a 10 day private tour with Mango Vacations in April/May 2022 and our driver met us at Colombo airport. He was a well-presented and friendly 24 year old named Vish. His English was excellent and he drove his Toyota Carolla Hybrid like a gentlemen. He drove carefully and skilfully and we were never frightened in Vish's car. We travelled all around the island including Colombo, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Yala and Mrissa. If we didn't feel like looking at a temple or garden Vish was flexible and arranged something else for us. He kept us informed about the political and supply chain problems in a mature manner and we always felt safe. Vish also had a great sense of humour and an infectious giggle. I cannot recommend this great young Sri Lankan highly enough. He is a credit to his family, his company and his country.

Best best best time ever!!! Kassa was fantastic and super informative. He took us to places we couldn’t have gone without him. He made the whole trip and ease! Love loved it and wouldn’t recommend a million times over!!!

Together with my friendly, helpful and reliable driver and guide Vishwa I spent the last two weeks on an absolutely fantastic tour through Sri Lanka. I have never experienced this level of courtesy and service orientation in 25 years of travelling around the world. With his open nature and flexibility I had a wonderful trip. In addition I was enthusiastic about the selected hotels. My recommendation is to ask for the regional breakfast. The proposed activities were wonderful and also a great part of the holiday. All in all a full recommendation for a tour with this organizer and many thanks to Vishwa for this great experience.

Beginning of April I arrived in Sri Lanka to visit this beautiful island again. From the airport I directly went to Kandy by myself. As I feel more comfortable traveling with other people I thought about taking a guided tour, although I have been to Sri Lanka before. In Kandy someone recommended Mango Vacations. And I am really happy that I got this recommendation. I booked a trip along the coasts of the West and South and it was an amazing experience. The driver always gave me a safe feeling. The guide was really knowledgeable and could tell me many facts that I didn't know before, even though this was not my first time. They also stopped if I wanted to see something that was not actually planned. Also they brought me to places off the beaten track so that I could experience Sri Lanka authentically. That is what made me so happy about this tour. I whish I can come back soon and book with them again. I would strongly recommend traveling with Mango Vacations. They are lovely people :)

Unser Fahrer meisterte alle Herausforderungen, wie kritische Verkehrssituationen und Umgehung von Möglichen Attentetsorten sehr professionell. Unsere Beziehung ist auf dem Weg zu einer Freundschaft geworden, da er viel Humor und gleichzeitig eine sehr feinfühlige Art mitbringt, nie aufdringlich wirkt und jederzeit an dem Schutz der Mitfahrer denkt. Er zeigte uns sehr viele Geheimtips, Unterkünfte und Möglichkeiten günstig hochwertige Waren, einzukaufen abseits der üblichen Turistengeschäfte. Seine Ortskenntnisse sind einwandfrei und hat eine sehr grosses Allgemeinwissen über Geschichte des Landes, Weltgeschichte und aktuelle Politik sowie sehr gute technische Kenntnisse und ist einer der wenigen, die von der Familie sehr gute Fotos schiessen kann. Er führte uns zum Zeitpunkt der Attentate sehr durchdacht und allzeit informiert immer sicher durch das Land. Wir können ihm zu dieser Leistung nur gratulieren und danken !
