We approach Lanka Safe to arrange our trip to Sri Lanka. They were very proactive and approachable and accommodated all our requests. We started our tour from Negombo the to Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Yala, Bentota, and finally concluding in Colombo. Our guide/ driver, Supun was very patient and very skillful driver. He is very knowledgeable of the area. He did all his best to make our travel comfortable. He keep on providing water bottles for us. He also recommended us to try local food.

Me and my mum spent our annual family trip in Sri Lanka this year and it has been absolutely amazing! The whole experience was fantastic. The tour was very well planned and included a wide variety of experiences. Our driver Kavishan was amazing, he went way above and beyond any expectations we had. He was a minefield of information about Sri Lanka, answering all our questions. Kavishan knew good, safe places where we were able to have lunches too. We felt he genuinely cared about us having a wonderful experience.

My wife and I spent 8 days with my tour rep Prasanna. This has proven to be one of our best trips abroad. Prasanna took us to a number of top destinations which included Sigiriya rock, Dambulla cave temple, Kandy toothrelic temple and Ramboda falls. His knowledge and experience has made the trip for us. The people of Sri Lanka are very friendly and the country is beautiful. I can highly recommend using Lanka Safe Tours as well as visiting Sri Lanka.

I chose Lanka Safe Tours for our 7 days Sri Lanka adventure, as they had a great itinerary, prices and very responsive customer service. I must admit that the customer responsiveness dropped closer to the tour as I kept requesting the final itinerary and it was nowhere in the picture. When it came a day before the tour, it was half-baked and had no driver name, contact details, etc. Our driver-cum-guide was Pansilu, who stayed with us the duration of the tour and was extremely helpful, affable and polite. He took responsibility for everything on the trip, and this was a big relief. We struck a great bond with him, and it was one of the high points of the trip. A few things that were not great - buying tickets last minute, on the spot. We would have preferred that either they were bought by the agency prior and billed to us or that we had full info upfront on all the prices and acceptable modes of payment. Many times we would go to buy a ticket and then be told that USD cash or other credit cards were not accepted. So, we wither had to forecast our LKR cash needs or dash to an ATM. Furthermore, we had to hire local guides on the spot for many attractions, and this was not something we were told in advance. In fact, even with driver-guides, the agency needs to get them more trained on the guiding aspect. The hotels were not always the best in the class requested. Some were remotely located and others just not good. On our last day, there was a major snafu with regard to the infamous itinerary pulled together on the fly. To the credit of the agency, the owner, Dinesh, was always accessible by Pansilu and jumped in to set things right on at least two occasions. The vehicle was comfortable and good, and we always felt safe and taken care of. Would I use them again? Yes, if the issues above are sorted out. All in all, we had a wonderful trip. Thank you!

Lanka Safe Tours helped us in preparing a nice itinerary. We travelled a new town everyday and had a wonderful experience. Every place, part of the schedule was worth watching. The hotels, food, everything was nice. It was experience of a lifetime. We did 2 Jungle Safaris, Whale Watching, 2 beaches, and much more in a span of 6 days. Special thanks to Malith (our driver) who made our journey much more special. A down to earth guy and highly motivated helped us in exploring some out of the itinerary places as well. We would like to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for taking all the pain and sticking to the daily schedule. Without doubt one of the favourite family Trip was Sri Lanka Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Mr Akeel ( truly a gentle man) , our names were mentioned on the board and we felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! The guide and tour was extremely good, very flexible (appreciate this!) specially when you are with small kids and for that he deserves a special thanks. We had 4 great days there, which obviously also added up to the experience. Akeel is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking the 3 of us through the area. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. We came to see Sri Lanka as a group of five friends. We had booked an 8 day stay with a program through the travel agency Lanka Safe Tours. The itinerary was perfectly organized, we saw the most interesting things in Sri Lanka and we were not bored even for a minute of our trip. Our guide was Mr. Prasanna who gave us interesting commentary about Sri Lanka and the sights at every opportunity.
