What an incredible journey we had on this tour! Putu was not only our guide for the morning but also our interpreter when we visited the Sharman. Putu went above and beyond to make this experience totally amazing and if we could give her more stars we would. She made sure we enjoyed this adventure with her knowledge, kindness and gentle nature. There was no hesitation for her to jump into the waters with us to ensure we understood the true meaning of the cleansing and the trust behind it. I don't have the words to express how I feel after the experience I had on this "tour". I feel that while I wouldn't hesitate to encourage other to also take part, I would also add that in my opinion this booking is not for those looking for a recreational "fun" outing. Being shown the temple and taking part in the purification ceremony was very personal, spiritual and more solemn outing than just a guided tour of other temples.

From start to finish this was one of the best trips I've been on in Bali. In the end it was only myself so I really felt as though I gained more understanding of the culture. Very knowledgeable guide, who talked me through all the processes for the ceremony at the local temple,( I was the only person at the beginning before the locals arrived), AMAZING! I loved being in tradional outfit and having a great opportunity to see the Shaman who was a lovely lady and quite spot on. Highly recommend using this couple to book for yoga or this trip, you will not regret it. Oh, and a lovely breakfast also was provided in good surroundings. 10/10

Came across this as I was looking for more spiritual experiences in Ubud and just saw the high reviews. Was very impressed but also deeply touched inside, I suppose everyone will react differently. Our guide Anna, walked us through the ritual in the temple. What we needed to wear and how to prepare for the water blessing. We noticed other visitors who were brought by other groups are simply brought in without wearing the appropriate clothing which is incredibly disrespectful, and just go straight to the water without any preparation or understanding what they are doing. The shaman reading, I think it's best not talk about it too much, go experience it yourself and see how you feel. All I'll say, it hit me quite deeply. We were happy this was a local business rather than being a foreign owned business exploiting the local pay. Thank you again!

An amazing experience from start to finish! We went on the new moon which made it all the more magical, our tour guide was wonderful and we learned so much about Bali and the culture. A true authentic experience!

I honestly can’t recommend this tour enough. I have been to Bali server al times before, but this was one of the best Bali experience I have ever had. Our tour guide Putu and our driver Wahyu were such beautiful ladies who really explain their culture and religion so well and help us experience the temple and Water Purification ceremony. There was no other tourist there and only one or two locals, why made it extra special. Breakfast was lovely and then they taught us about creating the flower basket for the offerings. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. I went with my 60 year old mother who also loved it. It was her first time in Bali and this experience was the highlight of our trip.

Considerately planned for a small group - I enjoyed the meet and greet, getting into the traditional clothes, visiting the water temple and participating in the purification ritual, brunch and then meeting with the shaman. The best part was getting to know the tour team at Pranasanti and chatting about the beautiful Indonesian culture and traditions and how it's been changing in the modern times.

What a fantastic experience this was. There was just myself and one other traveller so we were lucky to have such a personal experience. The temple itself is in such a beautiful setting (although a lot of steps!!). I really enjoyed learning more about the water purification ceremony and prayers and found it an emotional experience. The meeting with the shaman was really insightful and not something you get to experience every day. The guides were both lovely too; all in all a trip that is highly recommended.

The whole trip was great. My guides were experts about the ritual and shared a lot of other information and answered questions about Balinese culture that I had. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! We went to a less crowded temple than the one most tourists go to. It was just us and a few locals there bathing. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was also good and has vegan and gluten free options if you are wondering!

This was the first thing we did when we arrived in Bali and it was the best activity on our entire trip. The water temple had an energy that’s hard to describe but was truly enlightening experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for the spiritual side of Bali. The shaman we went to afterwards was also spot on and gave everyone in our family a lot to think about. Our guide also made the activities memorable and enjoyable. She was a priestess who had a deep knowledge of the religion and culture and was so kind and welcoming. She was also very patient with my father who just had heart surgery and needed help walking up and down stairs. Would 100% recommend.

The highlight of my trip in Bali - a beautiful day with wonderful like minded people from around the world immersed in Balinese culture. I felt very honoured to have taken part in local rituals. A day that will stay with me forever

It was an honour to dress in traditional clothes and enter the temple for eater purification. Our guides were so knowledgeable every step of the way. Breakfast was yummy. Then off to the sharman, what a truly spiritual experience.

Lovely tour guides with an amazing experience to a temple where it’s not overloaded by tourists leaving you with a more authentic feel to the spiritual cleanse. Seeing the shaman was insightful also. If you’re going to book or are interested I would recommend this one for sure!! :)

Thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The visit to the temple was a little hectic as we went on a full moon, but even so it was definitely worth the visit. Hosts were great, very informative and definitely felt my spirits lifted at the end of it all. The Sharman visit was amazing - got everything I needed and more.
