Our Specialty Coffee Workshop experience was outstanding. Booking was easy and perfectly accomadated our needs. Our group ranged from serious coffee enthusiast to " I don't really like coffee, but I will come along". Everyone sincerely enjoyed the experience. We all learned alot about coffee. We enjoyed visiting the different locations, checking out the roaster, learning about proper preparation, trying our tasting skills and meandering about one of Bogota's coolest neighborhoods. Karen was a terrific teacher and guide, who kept everyone engaged to the point that we kept her about an hour longer than scheduled. She was patient and gracious, answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone at any level of coffee interest; just a great, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

This was a wonderful workshop, I learned so much from Laura! She was super knowledgeable and kind. I’m not normally a coffee drinker, but I was still able to enjoy the experience fully with all the history behind the coffee of Colombia.

Laura was very kind and informative! She gave us a brief tour of the neighborhood while en route to our various destinations. I came away feeling I learned a lot about Colombian culture, the coffee scene included of course. I also loved that the tour company made an effort to support cafes that supported pickers, indigenous peoples, and other social causes. This tour was very well done and the perfect kick-off to our Colombian adventure.

There were many great highlights with this experience. I really did enjoy learning about the different coffees; and how to properly taste for the balance, note, and sweetness of the different types of coffee. Awesome tour guide! She was quite knowledgeable about coffee

They canceled this tour the day before it was to happen. I could not access email at the time, so I wasted hours traveling and waiting for the tour guide. They still sent me many emails about the trip even though they had cancelled the tour. I booked months in advance too. Do not waste your time booking this tour.

As a big fan and coffee lover and especially espresso style, I enjoyed the specialty coffee workshop conducted by the lovely Daniella who did a great job introducing the coffee shops (cafe 18, CAFE Cultor), explaining various coffees, and processes. We were a bit unlucky with power outage at the third coffee company so we ended up going back to #2. but it was still great and Cafe Cultor was great fun place and had a delicious coffee to end the event. Would have been nice to actually see/smell the roasting of the beans.

I had a great experience with Laura from Flavours of Bogota. She took me to some really nice cafes and taught me a lot about Colombian coffee and coffee culture!

This was a lovely experience and I would recommend it to any friend visiting Bogotá. During the tour, Daniela explained a lot about coffee, its industry, and its importance to Colombia. Also, she put us in the position of coffee experts who had to taste different types of coffee and rate/categorize them. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at the specialty coffee workshop in Bogota. The coffee shops we visited were excellent and in a cute neighbourhood that we may not have otherwise visited. Our guide Daniela was friendly, spoke English very well, and taught us a lot about coffee in general, in addition to the tasting. We would definitely recommend the workshop to others visiting Bogota.

Daniela was awesome!! She is super friendly and did a great job explaining to us rookies about the different regions, processes, and flavors that go into a cup of coffee. She answered all of our questions and provided some great local recommendations!

I LOVE the coffee tours done by Flavors of Bogota. This was my third time doing a workshop with them and I continue to learn new things each time. Daniela was wonderful and knowledgeable, her love of coffee and coffee culture is infectious. I will continue to do these workshops when I have other coffee loving visitors come through!

Daniela Moya, our guide, was so nice and welcoming. She took us through the whole experience, step by step and it was lovely! Karen was really reactive when I reached out the evening before the tour, and made it possible for me to attend before I left Colombia, and supplied me with lots of cool information. I did a coffee plantation visit (in Minca, la Victoria, really good as well) but you don't try coffees from different regions and THAT is what is great with this tour. With the added bonus of learning the best way to brew it. Plus there is so much more coffees from different regions to discover after the tour. I have at least 6 to try at home ! It was great to share this experience with other people as well, throwing around ideas and tastes, sharing travelling experiences. Definitely a must as far as I am concerned, thank you SO MUCH Karen and Daniela ❤️

Flavors of Bogota is such an awesome and unique experience. We had a lot of fun on our tour with Karen (owner of the company). Karen is one of the most knowledgeable persons we had ever met regarding coffee. We learned so much about the whole process of coffee's journey from bean to cup. You'll will come away from this tour with a deep appreciation not only for coffee in Colombia but coffee in general. We toured three unique, delicious specialty coffee shops in Bogota. Each location offered a delicious different brew. Karen took great care to explain exactly what kind of coffee we were drinking but to also ask us our thoughts and opinions on the coffee we tasted. All coffee was delicious and memorable. We bought beans from the second location. Our tour group was very small, only 5 people! If you are looking for a personal and unique experience in Bogota, this is the tour for you. The shops you visit are extremely dedicated to maintaining high standards for coffee culture in Colombia. If you have time and love coffee or want to know more about coffee, check this tour out. You will not be disappointed.

This was one of the top highlights of my trip to Bogotá! Daniela is super knowledgeable about coffee, everything ranging from history, growing, brewing, to culture. She guided us through all of that information as we sipped on coffee from three different specialty coffee shops. As a regular coffee drinker, I am so glad to have done this workshop to have a more nuanced understanding of how to evaluate coffee beans from different regions, varieties, method, etc, and to discover the flavors that I enjoy most. I definitely recommend to anyone who likes coffee or who wants to develop a deeper understanding of coffee culture and how it intertwines with the culture, economy, and people of Colombia! This was also a great way to begin my trip in Bogotá as Daniela gave me great recommendations on food to try, places to visit, and how to navigate the bus system!

Interesting tour but we didn’t taste a variety of coffees. It was all the same, everyone tasted the same flavors from the flavor wheel over and over.
