If you're heading to Old Phuket Town or Patong, or just anywhere in Phuket in general, I would have this on a MUST have tour to add to a day planner! Our tour guide Nam had such a great way of weaving the local community to the food, but also the influences and history of cultures that make up the Thai palette throughout the tour and dishes on offer. And there were A LOT of dishes over the 4 hours - with the flavour range very varied over the tour. I would DEFINITELY keep an empty stomach ready for this tour!! Being a walking food tour also meant seeing and hearing history of the local architecture - we stayed well after the 4 hour tour time to explore the local area, having had the additional local information, which made us feel very settled into the Old Phuket Town atmosphere. I'll be recommending this to anyone I know heading to Thailand and it'll definitely be on my repeat card for future trips.

This was one of our best experiences in Thailand! Our guide, Nam, was especially lovely and knowledgeable about the food, old town Phuket and Thailand in general. She made us all feel so welcome and she took us to the best places! We tried 19 things in total so please do go hungry!! We were so full by the end! I was slightly worried because I can have a sensitive stomach sometimes but I was fine with every food I tried, including all the meat and fish. Such good quality and super tasty. Definitely recommend!!

This has to be the most amazing tour we have ever been on. Pema shared the history of southern Thailand, its various cultures that have peacefully blended into a thriving community. We first visited the big morning market place with an introduction to the various items used to created the many different Thai chili pastes. We then went through backstreets of Old Phuket to find street food made and eaten by the locals. I am not able to eat spicy hot foods(of which there is plenty) but there was still plenty of foods for me to taste. My husband and I were very full at the end of the tour. There is a lot of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Be prepared also for having no air conditioning during the tour. We highly recommend this tour to learn of the history and cultures of southern Thailand!

We had an amazing experience! Our guide named Lucky, was wonderful and helpful. She explained the history behind the dishes and had some amazing selections! We did the morning 10am tour, and each and every dish was special.

This tour is one of a kind! It was AMAZING! It wasn't just a tasty food tour, but also a city tour of old town in Phuket. I learnt so much. Nam, our guide, was so knowledgeable and absolutely lovely. The food was absolutely amazing! I was a little worried because sometimes I can have a sensitive stomach, but all the food was well prepared, and extremely tasty! Nam definitely knew her stuff, couldn't have asked for a better guide!

The food was very tasty and our guide Nam was so knowledgeable about the history of the town. The flavours were amazing and experiencing the different countries foods were excellent. Our guide Nam moved was at a great pace and she made sure to break up the tour nicely to include shade and plenty of water. We would definitely do this tour again in the future. Thanks Nam!

Lucky was our tour guide, she introduced us to so much yummy food, we sampled 22 dishes. Phuket food is influenced by many areas of Asia. You must keep room for the tea leaf salad ( a real surprise) and the spectacular dessert at the end. They recommend you come hungry.. this is a must to get the most of the day. We even learnt some lingo.

Spectacular! Lucky went above and beyond. I can say now that I really tried authentic Thai food. I loved the way Lucky explained every detail of the menu and the history behind Thai food. You will never experience something like this in another tour. There are so many authentic dishes you are going to try, the flavour in each dish is just so exquisite. If you are staying in Phuket definitely go with Lucky she is the best!

Nana was a knowledgeable guide with a great demeanor. We sampled many different foods and had an amazing tour of the central market. Incredible value for the money and very well managed communications, directions, and guidance as we tried so many interesting and delicious foods and walked through Phuket and Old Town.

One of the best ways to learn about a culture is through their food. And this tour didn't disappoint. It takes you on a gastronomic journey through Thai cuisine, as well as neighbouring regions - China, Malaysia, Myanmar. My wife and 5-year-old son had a great time. I had the best time on this tour. It was worth every cent. All of the food we tried was delicious, I ate until I almost burst! Lucky was an incredible guide, teaching us the language and culture of Thailand and going above and beyond to ensure we all had a great time!

This food tour within "Old Phuket Town" was fabulous, delicious and delightful. Our Thai Tour Guide, Nan, was extremely informative and her english was excellent. There were six of us and we visited six establishments and whilst savouring 14 tastings from all cultures, Burmese, Thai, Chinese, Malaysisian and Indian. Sometimes a combination of both. The tour went for 4 hours. So, so much food. Fully recommend this tour.

Nam is a very knowledgeable guide. She took us on a food walking tour and showed us how to eat each food. She explained the various cultural influences and showed us what the food was made from. She told us the history of old Phuket Town as we walked around. We ate delicious food and Nam made sure we kept hydrated during the warm day. Nam went out of her way to ensure we had a good time, enough food and drink and then could get back to our hotel.

We had a lovely time experiencing local culture and cuisine. My wife and I had a wonderful tour. You should book now for a full and happy belly.

My mom and I had an amazing time walking the streets of Phuket Old Town with Nam, Aimee and Ti. Listening to the rich history and seeing the beautiful friendly people really rounded out this gastronomic experience.
