We had an excellent lunch time tour visiting four different restaurants/bars. Vanessa and Lee were so friendly and were great hosts and very knowledgeable about Italian life and food culture. The food, wine, limoncello and coffee we had on the tour were wonderful and there was a lot of it! The tour is highly recommended - I also recommend you don't eat breakfast!

We had the most wonderful food tour with Lee and Vanessa. Both women are so warm, friendly, and funny--the laughs began within the first few moments and didn't stop for three hours. The food was fantastic, we met wonderful new people, and gained so much knowledge about food and culture in Sorrento. We even returned to some of the spots later in the week to enjoy more of the delicious food and drinks. I have already recommended this tour to friends travelling to Italy, and I would do another tour with the Gourmet Girls myself if I return to this part of the country! Thanks so much for a wonderful experience--it was a highlight of our time in Sorrento.

Hands down our favourite part of our honeymoon! These ladies know how to do food! We had the best afternoon on a lunch tour visiting their favourite haunts, learning about the italian way of life when it comes to food and wine, and trying all kinds of dishes. The food was absolutely delicious in every single restaurant we went too. We were in a small group which was really comfortable. I only wish that we had done it earlier in our trip so that we could return to some of the restaurants we visited. Both ladies were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend that you book in with them!

This was EPIC. The 2 ladies who run this are such a giggle and superb at what they do. We loved it all , insane food, insane wine and such a laugh ! A must do in sorrento. So much food and wine !!! Very very reasonable.

First, all the food was delicious. The variety of restaurants was incredible and are some gems that might be missed without the wonderful Gourmet Girls. Second, Vanessa and Lee are the best. They are not just filled with information about Sorrento and the food scene there, but they are genuinely nice people that love their city and sharing stories about Sorrento and themselves. If you get a chance to visit Sorrento, you will not regret or forget spending the time with the Gourmet Girls. Thanks again Vanessa and Lee!

This was a very well-organized tour with excellent guides. The food was great. We had a nice group and really enjoyed ourselves. There were 4 stops with some walking in between.

Our tour with Vanessa and Lee was wonderful. They are so very immersed in their culture in Sorrento. We walked in the “ local” area where we sampled delicious food with wonderful wine pairings. Vanessa and Lee are the owners and are so warm and friendly, and their interaction with everyone left us feeling we had been friends for a long time! This tour is a definite 10… thank you!

We were so pleased with our time with the “gourmet girls”!!! They essentially treat you like family and it was the perfect way to learn about Sorrento while eating and drinking, what more could you ask for! We were able to walk to the “local” side of town and eat their food and drink their wine. Not something we would have done otherwise so it made our honeymoon extra special!

We can't recommend this tour enough. My husband and I wanted an authentic experience with Italian food, and that's exactly what we got. The restaurants we visited were incredible, and so were our guides! We had an amazing day, and I can guarantee you will too. If you enjoy good company and good food, choose this tour.

What a great way to kick off our vacation and get a taste of the local scene in Sorrento away from the busy main area. Love the combinations of the different styles of food and wine enjoyed by the locals. Vanessa was lovely and super informative. Highly recommend this tour for people that like walking and food tours.

My husband and I took the Taste of Sorrento Progressive Lunch Experience experience tour this May with Lee and Vanessa. It was such a treat to discover to discover those hidden gems not covered in the guide books. Lee and Vanessa took us to the places that they enjoy with their family and friends. We loved some of the places so much that we went back for lunch and dinner. The tour is nicely paced, starting with a glass of wine and some of the best charcuterie, progressing to pasta, pizza, and the best eggplant parmesan that we had in Italy. Vanessa and Lee also shared with us the history of the. cuisine and the wine of the Amalfi coast. They made recommendations for us for the rest of the trip. It was truly a delightful experience.

Oh my goodness what an amazing experience. Lee and Vanessa were fabulous hosts and so knowledgeable on the history of local Sorrento produce and wines! This was without doubt the highlight of our weekend in Sorrento. We tried some of the most delicious starters, primi (pastas) and the steak was to die for. Every course was paired with the most perfect wines which we would have never tried alone and that we then carried on ordering for the rest of our stay! More importantly it was such fun!! The Gourmet Girls are so knowledgeable on their cuisine, culture and wine. Hilariously funny with superb sense of humours they had us all in stitches and then had us all up dancing! Can’t recommend this tour enough if you want a lovely evening eating some superb food and drinking fine wines. Laughter guaranteed, dancing optional!
