It is very busy. Cost €64 with the tram ride. Do it on a fine day to appreciate the views. Port de Soller is definitely worth a visit. Nice restaurants and views around the bay from vantage points. We went on a soaking day, got wet, couldn't face the electric tram back and caught the 204 red yellow and white bus from 500m from the marina. Back straight into the subterranean bus station in the centre of Palma. Cost about €4 for two of us. My advice would be if you really fancy it go on the tram but come back in the bus. The pragmatist in me says save your money and go on the bus both ways.

Bit rushed but we were prepared for that so softened the disappointment of not having much time in Port of Soller and Soller which were both wonderful to see.

The tour was well worth it. Great train ride and guide was very knowledgeable. The problem was communication about pick up. The tour offered pick up at my hotel in Palma so thats what we said we would do. I received an email confirming the time and hotel location. On the day of the tour, they did not show up at our hotel. I had our hotel call the local tour operator and they said they had been trying to reach me to say they would not do hotel pick up. I did not get any messages from them about this. Luckily I was able to reschedule the tour in two days, or I would have lost my money. Viatour should not make promises that the local operator can’t deliver on.

This trip was fantastic! We enjoyed riding the train. It was a wonderful way to experience and see the breathtaking views! I wish that I had known about the "long" tunnel beforehand, just to know it was coming, but I did ok and it was such a cool experience! I would recommend this trip to anyone and I'd definitely go again!

It was really good, amazing and fantastic. The tour guide was super polite. Soller is magical place and the tram ride was brilliant.

This trip to Soller was really memorable. Fantastic views an the ride by tram and the old open-sided train was wunderful. Both tje Port and also the town of Soller were really worth visiting. There was not much time to stroll around because of a tight time schedule but I knew that before the excursion so it did not bother me. I had time to take a quick sim at the beach in Port of Soller and have som really good ice cream. In Soller Town we could walk around the little market in front of the church and through the small charming alleys. There would be no time sitting down at a restaurant but again I was prepared that time was limited. The guide whose name was Virginia spoke several languages including Spanish (of course), Italian, French and English fluently. Her German skills did not seem as well but then again most Germans understand English nowadays so I don’t think this should be a problem. The service was good and i was contacted two days before the trip and informed about the pickup-time at the hotel. The bus was in time and took us to the meeting point where we were to change to a different bus. We got information about the number of the new bus. On our way back you were given the choice to stay in Palma for the rest of the day and make your way back to your hotel on your own or to go back to your hotel directly after the trip from the meeting point. So all in all in all it was a wonderful trip. You can always go back to Soller on your own if you would like to spend more time there.

What a beautiful port and such a lovely way to get there by train ! Absolutely loved it all and the weather was perfect too considering it’s the middle of October!! Beautiful scenery and fabulous restaurants along the port front. An absolute must if you get the time .

It was novel for the first 15 minutes but it soon wears off when the DVT kicks in on the right tights. We only went as far as Soller but we were bored. Nice for a walk around but easily done in 30 minutes, 1 hour 30 if you add in over priced lunches. Ascetically nice but a bit dull.

A nice trip with nice views and the lady who was running it was nice, but the company Fun and Tickets wasn't helpful at all. They didn't answer any of my messages regarding my pick up time, and I got laughed at and hung up on when I called. They was late picking me and the other guests up which lead to less time at our stops. A nice trip, but I would recommend booking it with another company rather than Fun and Tickets.

An afternoon well spent, a narrow gauge train ride from Palma to Soller that takes in the wonders of Mallorcas countryside. Plenty of picturesque scenery including beautiful mountainsides and forestry, and it doesn’t stop there as you can board a tram all the way down to Port de Soller which is beautiful to look at, especially the hills that contain a lighthouse and a fort. Well worth the trip although the wooden seats can be uncomfortable, might be worth bringing a cushion along for the ride.

The town of Soller, train tram and port are well worth a visit. But don’t do it using this trip. I have never been in an organised trip with such a large number of people. Buses pick up from all surrounding hotels of Palma & take you to the pick up place in Palma to transfer to a 2 tier luxury coach. We waited 35 mins at Palma for the transfer coach to arrive which meant our short time in Soller & the Port was even shorter to ensure that the 5 hour trip did not run over. Far to much time on the bus and only 40mins & 30mins at Soller & Port. This meant we had time for a quick drink but no time to walk around the 2 towns. The train was the high light with beautiful scenery through the mountains. There were too many people in the group and although the guide was doing her very best, to listen to the information in 4/5 languages was really tedious and took up the entire time on the bus.

Tram and train journey The journey was good - sollee is a beautiful place. Toilets at the train station are not good at all. No toilet paper. Toilets not checked regularly for cleanliness. Disappointed for the price of the journey.

Great experience, would recommend this tour. Soller was great, it is a beautiful spot. The only drawback is there isn’t enough time to explore on your own, we only had 1.5 hours and by the time you grab a quick sandwich (not sitting down etc to eat) , you feel very rushed. However, we would do this tour again .

Fantastic towns and beautiful views from the old train and tram. However, it's extremely bysy so make sure you arrive in good time to make sure you get a seat together. Make sure you DON'T have food or drink from the caffe at the stop in Palma. We did and there were maggots in the orange juce! 🤢

Amazing trip and views, however staff and tour guide ruined the day for us. On the way home we paid for transport to original destination which was supplied. However when we were on the coach we asked 3 times if we were on the correct one and we were told yes. We ended up being 40 minutes away from our hotel and told we had to get a taxi and ended up paying €50 to get back and refused refund. When I called to ask about it I was shouted at and talked over while being called a liar and because I didn’t speak Spanish that’s why I didn’t understand and it was my fault we didn’t get back properly. Not happy. If you don’t speak Spanish be wary and always ask more than 3 times clearly if you are in the right place to get home. Ruined day for us which was turning out to be lovely.

Brilliant train ride, great views, I was expecting it to be packed but there was plenty of room.I got my ticket from the station on the day, (surprisingly no que) and got straight on the train. A Lovely scenic ride to Soller then a rickety old tram down to the sea .I got a single ticket which was 18 euros for the train and 7 for the tram. All in all my favourite part of my holiday.

The views from the train and at the port we’re quite spectacular. The village of Sóller was lovely and quaint albeit touristy. Our tour guide seemed relatively knowledgeable about the area and spoke 3 languages. Unfortunately with her particular accent, it was sometimes difficult to understand when she spoke English. Then she was frustrated when she was asked to repeat her instructions. There were a lot of instructions. It might be useful to have them in writing so the guide won’t be upset when asked to repeat them.

Just a tiny bit hurried in both Soller port and town, but this trip is all about the tram and train The tram is sedate and beautiful, the train is so traditional and the scenery fantastic All in all more than worth the cost, loved it

The trip itself was quite nice: we went to all the key spots to be seen and Port de Soller and Soller were beautiful. The guide's language skills were impressive. However, the agency person organising the trip from Palma was very rude. We booked a morning tour and he changed it to afternoon. He was very curt over the phone, did not apologise for the change, did not want to listen and overall gave the impression that I was wasting his time by asking questions.
