Gives you a glimpse of how other Colombias live, gets you out of the zones made for tourist. People there seemed friendly, you can see grafitti art throught out the area. Cable car ride gives you a good view of the area from above. I think the favelas have a bad reputation of being dangerous, but never felt like I was in danger at all.

What a lifetime experience! We loved every minute of it. We were very happy to experience the authentic life of colombia. Thank you David Cruz for guiding us through this day! It was perfect!

Excellent tour with an excellent guides and very safe. They were all the time take care of our group. The place have a stunning Bogotá city view. You can take a lot of pictures from the top of the mountain. The teleferico experience is a must to do.

We loved our tour! Our guide David was amazing! He is really nice, friendly and cheerful! He told us a lot about Colombian culture and people, and it was a very enriching experience! We visited Bolivar neighbourhood in Bogota The tour was well organized, and the colorful houses were really beautiful and different from everything else in Bogota. We also visited one of the furthest parts of Bolivar and had the chance to see how local people live. Locals were really friendly and welcoming. The neighbourhood we visited is still developing, and we visited a school the local community built with the help of donations. They even teach arts, cinema and theatre there! Don't hesitate to go on the tour and even donate to the local community if you can. It's really impressive what these people did all by themselves, but they still need help to achieve their dream!

A great way to see more of real Bogotá and just not the tourist sites. Jorge shows you amazing areas with amazing people, while also giving you and insight into the history and struggles of the city. And the view from Mirador del Paraiso are amazing! Perhaps you are also fortunate enough to meet up with Negro y Manchas, two lovely dogs.

This was probably the highlight of my trip to Bogota. So interesting to get out of the main city and touristy areas. Samuel was great too.

David was a great, knowledgable and friendly guide! Because I was the only person on the tour, he offered to do the tour with the motor bike, which was fantastic! The cable car up to El Paraíso offered amazing views. Once we arrived at al El Paraíso, Jhon welcomed us and guided us around his neighbourhood.

Hands down the best tour we have ever done, David was a fantastic guide, we felt safe at all times and learnt so much about the Cuidad Bolivar and it’s history. It ended up being a private tour for my partner and I which was fantastic, when it started to pour with rain at the top of the cable car we were taken for lunch at a wonderful local restaurant. 100% recommend this tour to understand more about Bogota and it’s surrounding areas and history! The best part for us were the two dogs who accompanied us through the town it felt like we had 2 extra guides showing us their home 🩷

We (myself and the husband..turned 50 so a birthday treat to us) spent 2 weeks in Bogota, Medillin and Categena and this remains hands down our favourite tour. David sends you clear instructions and pictures of the car to pick you up and all the relevant information so not having fluent Spanish isn't a problem. David and (Jairo our driver) and John (local) conduct a fun, knowledgeable and respectful tour of the area and it's residents. You get to see and experience Bogota from the inside out, eat and travel like a local. This tour has yet to become "touristy" hence the appeal to us. Go do this tour before it becomes overrun! It's rare I say I'd so I would do a tour again, but I would do this one. I honestly think it beats the Monserrate cable car tour hands down for length of time, no over crowding and absolutely colourful views. It contributes back to the area itself without having to buy rubbish souvenirs. Fantastic tour thanks David ! We will be sending more folks your way!

David took us on my dream journey (the one I fantasized about after listening to the Mija podcast and this was my primary reason for wanting to go to Bogata to start with!) to see the true beauty amongst the cultural heart of the Bogota i had heard so much about and yearned to see. He walked us through the history of how this area had come together and retained their deep sense of community throughout adversity and poverty. The sights and sounds and any local digs he took us to were a refreshing reprieve from tourist centers. Even the cable car to get there was top notch and a rather unique experience since it was just another regular form of public transportation for people living there and we as tourists stood out gleefully like sore thumbs! This was an irreplaceable experience for me and made me fall in love with Bogota and the people of Bogota. thank you David!
