The crew was friendly and extremely knowledgable about whales and the area. I had a bucket list experience as we were fortunate to have a whale breach just a short distance from our boat. So exciting!

This was the coolest experience! Our team, Molly, Shannon and Levi, were so knowledgeable and made this a great trip. The boat they used was awesome because you could see whales from every angle - We didn’t miss a thing and had a blast!

It was incredible to get close enough to a whale to see a calf swimming next to its mother. She was teaching her baby how to breath at the surface.

Amazing tour and tour guides. Allison was great and gave tons of insightful information and our captain (I think it was paul) had us laughing and enjoying the tour. Right up front they said it was the end of the season for whales and they would do their best to see some. We seen quite a few and we followed them around taking it all in. Amazing experience.

Great tour!! They were very knowledgeable and shared lots of great info. We saw several whales, include a mom and baby playing around for about 15 minutes. Even saw some bottlenose dolphins!

I had a wonderful time over three days and saw whales every trip and even got close to dolphins on the last day. Highly recommend this company!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. I was hoping to see one or two whales, but we saw so many! It really was thrilling for me and for my family. The staff was excellent and we learned so much from them. Worth every penny, I can't recommend this highly enough.

Top marks! Guides were knowledgeable about not only whales, but the history of the islands, as well. I recommend this tour above others, as the boat we were on was bigger and more solid than some of the little Zodiak inflatable boats around us.

We had a great time whale watching with Makai Adventures. The crew were very knowledgeable and shared a lot of info on whales. The boat was small with 17 visitors, which made it perfect to see the whales. The boat took us to two locations one with adult whales and another spot with many mommies and calves. I would recommend them. Whale watching itself is overrated, I don't think I will do this activity again. ( nothing against Makai Adeventures)

We had a great time out whale watching with Makai Adventures! Captain Paul and First Mate Laney shared tons of information about the whales we were seeing. The boat was perfect as it could move quite fast to different locations where there was whale activity. Even though it’s getting toward the end of the season, we still saw a lot of whales. I would heartily recommend them!

We had an excellent whale watching experience. Thanks to Makai Adventures! From start to finish, the staff was courteous, accommodating, and very engaging. They made the experience of excitement and anticipation. We got to see many whales and generally experienced the beautiful scenery and boat ride.

The staff was excellent and the tour group small. We saw more many whales as the captain and crew were excellent at spotting them. the captain never took us closer to the whales then regulations allow but one whale apparently did not read the rules and as we sat dead on the water the whale did a complete circle around and very close to the boat I highly recommended Makai!!!!!!!!

Booked a whale cruise, the crew was great, very professional, boat was great, very comfortable (a new boat) and overall experience was great! Whales all over the place. I would book again with Makai Adventures.
