I had an unforgettable experience with Teresa, Hector, and my excellent driver Pino as my tour guides with the company Viator. Their knowledge, expertise, and Pino’s professionalism added to the overall enjoyment of the trip. I would highly recommend Viator and these amazing tour guides for anyone looking for a memorable and enriching travel experience.

Guide Antoinette and driver Piedro were excellent! Far exceeded my expectations! They arrived on time and made my husband and me feel so special!

Pickup from our Airbnb at 6:45 am was convenient. Drive was comfortable. Stopped half way for a “pit stop” and had breakfast (amazing pastries considering it was a gas station). Theresa was a helpful organizer. Tour of Pompeii with Hector was a #1 highlight of our 10 day vacation. Lunch at the vineyard was delightful. Stopped at Naples for a snack and pictures over the bay. Inspiring. Stopped again halfway home. We were back to our Airbnb just after 6pm due to traffic. Our group had 10 adults ranging from ages 17-70.

Hands down the most amazing experience we have had on our tour in Rome! Max and Teresa were fantastic and very knowledgeable of every aspect of our trip, we had issues at Pompeii because of a strike and they rearranged the whole day so we could still do everything and not miss out. The visit to the vineyard was fantastic with truly amazing wine and food as well as entertainment. Vino rules the roost. Please go on this trip and enjoy.

Deanna was our guide and Max was the driver they were excellent. Pompeii guide was very knowledgable. Lunch at the winery was great. Wine was terrific. Enjoyed Naples and the views and the coffee stops on the road. It was a fun day. Comfortable ride and great company. Highly recommended.

The tour was short and good but the driver is very rough driving. Driver and guide both were without seatbelts on the highway.

Despite the weather (cold, rain, wind), it was a great day! We appreciated Valentino's expert driving in the strong wind, and Deena's informative style as we were driving to Pompeii, the vineyard and touring Naples. Our tour of Pompeii was with an archeologist who was actually from Pompeii. His expertise was amazing and made the ruins come to life. The wine-tasting and lunch at the vineyard were AMAZING...the wines and food were so good. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

The tour guides were phenomenal both our shuttle guides as well as the Pompeii group and winery guides! The Pompeii tour was the perfect length and very informative. The winery had breathtaking views of the coast as well as Mt Vesuvius. The wine and food was delicious. We then did a small walk around Napoli and drove up to the top of the hill to take some more photos of the amazing coastline.

We were contacted by our guide the day before and given a pickup time for our tour outside of our hotel in the heart of Roma. 5 minutes early in the morning we were greeted by Guiseppe our guide and loaded up into our comfortable van for the 2 hour drive down the coast. We stopped for a morning pick-me-up of Cappucino and pastries at a small roadside area. Then it was off to meet our tour guide in Pompeii. I forget his name, but he was wonderful and guided us around the ruins in a very informative and no-nonsense way. He explained everything very well and was the best tour guide that I saw in the ruins! He knew where to take us and how to best show us the different areas. Halfway through we had a torrential downpour but it was a fun time and we all got soaked! After the ruins we went to lunch at a beautiful winery on the slopes on Vesuvius. The pasta was delicious, and the wine was amazing! Then it was off to Naples with an hour long tour of the area, stopping for a fun little drink of fizzy lemon drink, you must try this! Don't stop drinking and get it down all at once! Remember to spread your legs!!! Then back to the van and another 2 hour drive back north to our hotel. This trip was the best, I can't recommend it more! Our driver and guide were both named Guiseppe, and we loved them!!! Thank you!

This was my 2nd trip this year booking with Welcome Italy Tours. The first in March 2023, I booked this same tour with my sister and the tour guide provided was so amazing that I requested the him again this time. This trip/tour on Saturday, October 14, 2023 was to celebrate my 42nd wedding anniversary and I wanted my husband to enjoy the same tour I did with the same guide. Unfortunately the guide I requested was busy; however, thanks to the guide and the leadership at Welcome Italy who went above and beyond to make this happen for us. I was so happy to see the same guide Giuseppe "Joseph", sorry if I misspelled your name. I have to say I have taken other tours with this company and have NEVER been disappointed in the knowledge and professionalism of their guides and drivers. You receive personalized service from this company, safe and clean transportation. The guide provided at Pompeii was so friendly, and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Pompeii without the Hollywood version! Lunch provided at the organic/farm winery was really outstanding, the tour, lunch, and wine was FABULOUS! Then onto Naples "Napoli" I can't even explain how beautiful this was along a walk around the area and pictures taken at Naples Bay. The guide made sure the pics we took had an amazing view. This was worth the price for sure and then some. We will be back to take additional tours hopefully soon!! Thanks again Welcome Italy you made this trip unforgettable for us!! Walking down the original streets and entering buildings that were there at 79 AD was just fascinating. It was the best part of my entire trip to Italy. You can look at parts of the Roman Forum or buildings that are only 1,000 years old. But Pompeii is an entire city almost 2,000 years old with remarkable remains including paintings and ancient grafitti. I would have loved to have spent more time here.

Fantastic experience!!! We loved Dina our tour guide (and Constantine our driver) - everything was so smooth and fun. Seeing Pompeii was truly epic and the winery experience for lunch was gorgeous. Naples was a whirlwind there and back but I felt like I got a good preview and taste of the city - just stunning.

The trip was amazing from the coordinator to the guide to the driver. Great vibe and very knowledgeable of the all Italian history and Pompeii.

I really enjoyed Pompeii! The guide was fabulous and very well informed. The tour operator was enthusiastic and took the time to answer questions and explain areas.

Our guide Joe and driver Manuel were knowledgeable and friendly. On our drive, Joe would tell little stories about the towns we were passing and always with humor. Our Pompeii guide Daniel was a bit edgy, making the experience a little uncomfortable for all of the people in our group. However, once we were back in the company of Joe and Manuel, all was good. Pompeii is amazing. You have to see it to appreciate it. Onward to our lunch at Cantina Del Vesuvio. Delicious meal with delicious wine. And oh the red wine vinegar made from grape skins was delicious, thick, sweet yet vinegar. Once lunch was over, we drove to Naples. Joe took us on a little walk around and we tasted an after-lunch lemon and bromide drink meant to settle any indigestion. Running short on time, we drove to a spot where we got beautiful pictures of Naples before our return to Rome. I should add that there was only one other couple on this tour with us and it was not canceled. By the end of the tour, I think the tourist and guides felt a little like family.

We met 4 people from Australia on the tour, they were great! Gina kept us informed with lots of facts, Daniel got us there and back safely. Would definitely tour with this company again!

Great trip being picked up on time by lovely cheerful Joseph. The van was very comfortable and luxurious with air conditioning. We were with another couple which was was great to share the experience with. Emmanuel was a great driver , safe and courteous. Lunch was brilliant at the winery with great wine tasting. Wish we had more time in Pompeii as we only scratched the surface. Quick tour of Naples and finished off with a great photo with Naples in the background. All in all fantastic day out and great door to door service in a small group.

Our general guide, Antonietta, was simply wonderful. By the end of the tour, back at the hotel, hugs all around as she was like family. Her stories and knowledge of Naples and Italy in general was delightful. Daniel, the Pompeii guide, was also thoroughly great. His passion and dedication to teaching us about Pompeii was evident in his presentation and how serious he was showing us a fun time. The lunch and wine tasting? Delicious! The farm was halfway up Mt. Vesuvius and beautiful. The wine was fantastic and the food lovely. They even had gluten free options for my son, so he wasn’t left out! My family will never forget this day.

Fabrizio & Joseph were a fantastic driver & guide duo. The guide in Pompeii was fabulous. I’ve been to Pompeii before but learned new things from him! Lunch and wine tasting were delicious with a gorgeous view. Naples tour was quick, but they took us to see a gorgeous view of Naples Bay that was breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour! It was well-worth the extra money!
