We got lucky to have the tour just by ourselves. Our guide Divya made the tour unforgettable, she lives in Dharavi and showed us the whole city that goes behind the negativity of the slums. Great tour, superb guide!!!

My experience was so cool - me and 10 more people of my group spent couple of hours being guided in a Dharavi slums, with the full explanation of what’s going on here and there. I highly recommend not to go there alone since the expirience wouldn’t be this much meaningful, clear and nice. So many stories behind that place and so nice when someone local is about to tell you all of them. Thanks a lot, we will definetly come back with other group.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Mumbai. Although booked through Booking.com the your company running the tour was Youngs in Mumbai. Our tour guide was Mayur who spoke excellent English and showed us around the slum. The tour was breathtaking and unique and very humbling. The industries being undertaken here are like nothing we would see in the UK. Our guide (Meyur) took us on twists and turns around the slum giving us the unedited and authentic experience. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. We will certainly be recommending this tour to others.

Mayur showed us around in Dharavi and gave us some meaningful insights in what it means to live and work there. We visited the recycling area, the tannery, the residential area and the pottery quarter. Highly recommended!

When I visit Mumbai, I always want to visit the slums. As I was traveling alone, I was a little worried about going alone, and then I found this tour. Mayur, who guided me on the day, had a really warm and kind personality and carefully taught me about the slums. Thanks to asking me many times if I had any questions and he talked to me friendly, so I was able to ease my nerves, and I was able to ask a lot of questions, which helped me learn a lot. The slums I saw through Mayur were completely different from what I had imagined. Learning about their real lives was a valuable experience that greatly changed my sense of values. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mayur and team Young tours and travels. At the end of the tour, I went to their office and found the children there. Some of the money we pay is used for their studies(!). How wonderful! I was really impressed. Very well explained tour. Our guide was a resident of Dharavi, and gave us very in depth knowledge of life here.

Mayor is our tour guide. He is very friendly and has varieties of information about Dharavi, Mumbai and India. Whichever place we visited, he explained every thing in detail. We did a short tour to commercial and residential area. From plastics manufacturing, leather industry to ceramics business. At the end of tour, the manager invited us to his house and gave small gifts to us. It was nice to see the inside of living places as well. Very good and friendly company, highly recommended.
