Worse tour ever operator didn’t provide headset and kept repeating herself couldn’t hear her we left half way through this tour I wouldn’t recommend to anyone waste of money and terrible.

We had a fun and informative tour. Laura made our experience great. In addition to making us laugh, we learned, and received great photos on balcony.

Gabriela did a fantastic job of explaining the architectural details and history of the this beautiful basilica in an hour’s time. It was brief and we felt we came away with an understanding of its importance to Venezia.

Had to wait for 15 min for another person on your who never could find meeting point. Don’t know if that was fair. But good. Tour guide knowledgeable and friendly. Very steep steps. For people with mobility issues might be a problem

Lara was an excellent tour guide, very professional, knowledgeable and engaging! Lara was sensitive to the group needs and kept an eye for each member of the group. We will really recommend Lara if you are interested in a tour of Saint Mark Basilica !

We arrived at the meeting point as instructed a few minutes before the meeting time (1:45 for a 2 pm tour). We did not see our guide by 1:50 so I called the number provided in the booking and was informed by the very polite representative that our guide Gabriella was en route. As soon as I hung up Gabriella was there. After distributing the whisper headphones Gabriella began the one hour tour with very good descriptions of the artwork and history of the basilica. At the conclusion on the terrace she kindly provided instructions on how to return to the basilica to view the Pala d’Oro (which is a separate 5 euro ticket not included in this tour; you can buy the ticket inside the basilica and there was no wait - definitely recommend seeing this impressive piece). We felt this tour was a perfect introduction especially if you have a limited amount of time here.

We enjoyed this tour very much. Only 1 hour, skip the line, and great highlights of the Basilica including terrace access. Unlike the other churches in Italy this one did not provide a covering for shoulders/knees.

Really great tour with Lara. She was funny, informative and took great care of us as a group during a very busy day at St Marks. Other tours seemed to have uninterested people but Lara really held our interest. The mic setup allowed us to hear her well. Highly recommend.

Wonderful visit and worth it to skip the line. The meeting point is very easy to find. She did a great job telling you what everything is. Included in tour is inside the church, the museum, and the outside balcony. You get to see 4 huge horses from 200bc. Beautiful church.

The tour guide was kind but the audio devices were malfunctioning so our tour group couldn’t hear most of what she said throughout the tour. It was not her fault necessarily, but I think care should be taken to be best prepared ahead of time to make sure equipment is working properly before charging for an experience that was not fulfilled. We were able to see the basilica and all its marvel. If I had known, I would just buy skip the line tickets and use a self tour audio guide that you can purchase at the basilica or do it on the iPhone. No need for a tour guide on this one after this experience.

Love the skip the line tickets! There was a very long line - we went late spring - so we were thankful to not have to wait in the rain.

Tour guide was nice and informative. Two people out of the group of 15 were late and we waited for 10 minutes before leaving without them. I thought that was too long to wait. A lot of stairs to go up which I believe should be noted in the details as we had an elderly person with us and it was very difficult for him.

Our guide was terrible. She was uninterested, sarcastic and snarky. It felt like she did not want to be there and was just patronizing us.

Our guide (Lara) was fantastic. Her English was perfect and her knowledge of the area (Venice and St. Mark’s) was superb. Skipping the line of several hundred people is a definite “do.”

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our tour guide, Lara, was very well informed, but more than just information she made our time together very entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour and especially I'd give a shout out for Lara, who did an excellent job. George & Lois
