Don’t think twice, Tequila is a have to and Mickey’s staff are top notch! Our guide Yanet and driver Juan Carlos were so welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Took my husband for his birthday and choose to do a tour just the two of us. Want to plan a group couples trip back to tequila and I know who to call.

We enjoyed every minute of this private tasting with Mickey. We learned so much and realize you can really just sip and enjoy so many different tequilas and mezcals. The food was delicious! Mickey's wife even joined us for a bit. We had a great relaxing conversation with both of them, and his friend who owns the restaurant where the food came from joined us as well. He had karaoke set up, if we wanted to partake...we didn't but for some it would be a great way to finish off the evening. We were never rushed...it was a truly fun evening!

This is the best way to do a Tequila tour! Our guide, Jesse, was fantastic, fun, informative and has become a friend. We got rare insight into the process because of their relationships with distilleries and were able to do the trip on our time frame without the binge party atmosphere of a tour bus. Highly recommend this tour group!

Mickey's Tequila Tasting experience was such a blast! Mickey knows his tequila, he's passionate and has a knack for making you feel right at home. We learned a lot about tequila and mezcal distilling process and tasted some premium brands plus the food was on point. I highly recommend the tasting experience!

Micky and Annie were so friendly, informative and fun - welcoming us into their home to learn about tequila and mezcal from planting to bottling and of course tasting. We had such a great time and the tequila was flowing. So generous - and we had the most delicious burritos and quesadillas home cooked for us. Don't make dinner reservations the night you do this. Imagine you have a friend with an epic agave spirit stash who is passionate about sharing it with you. This was a private tasting in a well prepared setting. You can tell Mickey and Annie know their agave spirits, and it’s easy to tell differences between them all when you can compare the tastes and smells right there in front of you. An authentic agave collection given by a knowledgeable enthusiast gave an unforgettable experience

The private tequila tour was BY FAR the best part of our vacation. Our guides Edgar and Damian were so fun and knowledgeable about everything and we had a lot of questions! We learned so much and met some really passionate tequila makers along the way. Overall a fun and interesting experience. I have already recommended this tour to my friends, and I hope we get to come back soon! Also if you’re debating doing a private tour vs a group I would recommend the private. The experience felt tailored to what we were into from the food to the stops.

Four of us had a fabulous tasting with Mickey on a Sunday afternoon in his welcoming apartment. We had made a 7:30 pm dinner reservation for that night that we canceled at 7:00 pm because we were having so much fun...and the food that he provided was awesome! Mickey is a wonderful host and we learned SO much about tequila and mezcal. We HIGHLY recommend when you visit Mexico City!

A fantastic experience from the time we were picked up at our hotel until the end. Our guide spoke great English and knew so much about each tour stop. Not only that, but our lunch was at a local taqueria, and the food was awesome! I'd not only recommend them but would def hire them again in the future!

Miguel is very nice and pleasant to talk to. He is very knowledgeable in tequila and mezcal and was able to answer all of our many inquiries and questions.

I traveled to visit a friend who lives in GDL and since it was my first visit I booked us a trip to Tequila and this one had the best reviews. No wonder! Pick up right on time. We had a wonderful drive and guide (Chava). There were just 6 of us, which was really nice as we saw much bigger groups. We went to two small distilleries and Chava was very knowledgeable in explain the processes. We had a mixed-language group so he spoke in both English and Spanish, which we appreciated. I wish I remember our driver’s name because he was so kind and took pictures for us, too. After the second distillery we went into Tequila for an excellent lunch in such a delightful place. Then had a tequila drink in a souvenir cup in Tequila town square, which was buzzing with people, food, drink, activity—mostly by locals and Mexican tourists. Neither my friend nor I are big “tour” people, but we agreed this was the best we’d ever been on and she wants to take her adult children when they visit in the Spring. Highly recommend!

First distillery was good. Second was average. Lunch spot wasn’t good. Guide not too engaging. Overall quite mediocre. The pick up was over 30 min late even though Mickey insisted that we needed to be ready by 9.

My friends and I love love this tasting tour! Mickey and Annie are super hospitable and knowledgeable! I have been twice, with different friends who all appreciated the great tequila, mezcal, cocktails, and snacks. The whole experience is brilliantly curated, and the arrangement of the drinks and food is beautiful. The tequila and mezcal were delicious (some were really unique), and it was cool to learn about the history and process of making them... Also, we all think that Mickey and Annie are an awesome, cute couple, which makes the experience extra fun and warm. :) 

Very small group of 1 and Mickey was super accommodating. I mentioned I was much more interested in mezcal instead of tequilas as I hadn't tried a lot of different mezcals and he completed shifted gears and pulled out about 10 bottles of mezcal we both enjoyed and discussed. He really knows his stuff, is super friendly and is very intent on you having a great time. I was supposed to come with someone else who wasn't feeling well and he sent me home with a few gifts for her which went over very well!

This was the best tequila or any type of liquor tasting ever. Such a wonderful time and knowledgable, learned so much and tasted some really great tequila. Wish we could be some shipped back home! If you are looking for a great tequila tasting this is the tasting you need to sign up for. You will not regret it!

We had a fantastic private tour with Xan, who was fun, friendly, and knowledgeable about all things tequila! The distelleries chosen were interesting and we learned a lot about the process, tasting all the way through. Our lunch stop was an unassuming place where we had some simple bbqd meats, some of the best we've had on our trip! The final stop was a really fun outdoor bar/restaurant with dancing, live music, where we hung out with one of the distillery owners. Such a great experience, highly recommend it! p. s. Be sure to take snacks or eat well before hand, you'll be drinking a lot of tequila!
