What a fun (and educational) way to spend an afternoon! I've lived in DC for years, but heard new stories and learned interesting history about the city in which I live. This is a must do for anyone interested in history, especially with a side of beer (or non alcoholic drink of choice)!

Great way to see a few iconic Washington watering holes and meet a few like-minded travellers. Dalton, our host, provided excellent additional information about where to eat and continue the party after the crawl ended.. I recommend the 4pm crawl as you can then go to the rooftop bar at Pub #2 to watch the sunset.

Dalton is personable and knowledgeable - the tour gets a definite recommend from me. I found this pub crawl through tripadvisor a few hours before, booked it and received my ticket with the email confirmation. The bars were upscale, so it was a nice way of finding some nice bars and restaurants in the city. The history lessons were also interesting facts about the bar, or something that happened in the area. I recommend that you go with the happy hour tour, as depending on the bars, the drinks can get pretty pricey, so the happy hour price tour works out to be more cost effective than you may think. Dalton also offers beer recommendations, so feel free to ask.
