Our guide was fantastic. We learned about making olive oil and had a tasting. We walked the winery and had a tasting. He gave us lots of information about different areas as we drove. It was a great tour! We would recommend it to anyone.

A great way to spend a morning around Montpellier. Some learning on the tour for sure, and intersting to taste pure olive oil. Wines as provided were good, the only thing lacking was a bit more touring of both the winery, and the olive farm. Overall a good tour, and Mark was a great guide.

This tour was a fantastic way to spend half a day in Montpellier. The highlight was Marc, our host. He was extremely friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The instructions for pick-up were clear. The van was comfortable (there is a fair bit of a drive to get to the destinations). At the end of the tour, Marc went out of his way to drop us off close to our accommodation because of the rain, which was very kind. The olive oil and wine tours were both very informative and we enjoyed them a lot (As a cat-lover, I especially appreciated the resident cat at the winery!!).

Marc was a great tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour to one olive vineyard and one wine vineyard outside of Montpellier. Highly recommend!

I would thoroughly recommend booking this experience! My boyfriend and I were in Montpellier for a couple of days on holiday and decided to book this as an opportunity to learn more about the area of France that we were staying in. Instructions for meeting the tour guide were clear and our tour guide was great - both informed and pleasant. Able to tailor the tour to suit our tour group (which on this day consisted of two couples). The scenery on the tour is beautiful (even in the overcast weather we had that day) and to get driven through this was a real highlight of the experience. The visits and tasting sessions were great - we all learned something new and tried lots of varieties of wine, olive oil and vinegar.

The excursion was perfect, the guide an expert, and the scenery spectacular. I highly recommend Montellier Wine Tours.

We had a great experience tasting wines of Montpellier, learning about the region and AOP wines, and enjoying the beautiful vineyard. Our guide was informative, friendly, and fun! The olive oils were delicious and the grove was really cool. My one recommendation would be to pack a snack because you do not eat on the tour.

It was amazing! Only wish it was longer. Our host was very sweet and explained the culture and history of the vineyards in languedoc. We tasted 5-6 different wines and learnt about the process. After that, we went to a beautiful organic olive grove where we tasted different kinds of olive oil. Overall a brilliant trip. Highly recommend it!

Marc is such a joy! His knowledge and enthusiasm of both the olive and wine industry helped make our tour a sheer delight!

Our tour guide, Carine, was excellent and spoke almost perfect English, She ensured that we all got the most from the tour. The olive farm was very nice - try the truffle olive oil and the garlic and parsley fresh olives, delicious! The very classy Vineyard was beautiful and it was hard to pick a wine because they were all lovely. Highly recommended!

Our children bought us a wine and olive tour as a lovely Christmas present because they knew we were coming to Montpellier to see our daughter. Unfortunately we couldn’t come when we had the trip booked because snow cancelled our flight and trip. However the company very kindly let us rebook our trip and we were so glad they did as we had a fabulous morning. Marc our guide was charming friendly very knowledgeable and had great English. We went to the organic olive growing grove and learnt how olive oil was made both traditionally and currently. We tried various olive oils and had some lovely olives. They were so good we bought some for our daughter even though she doesn’t like olives she liked these as they were nicer than anyone’s she’d ever had. We then went on to the wine tour up the mountain. It was fascinating to see how the different wines were fermented in different bars and to learn the differences in the production of red, rose and white wine. The wine tasting was lovely and we bought some gorgeous white and red wine and learnt about Grenache and other grapes. Marc was an excellent host and we had a lovely time and would highly recommend this tour and do it or a similar one again. We were very impressed with the Wine and Olive Tour. The sites visited were perfect for our small group and we were entertained as well as educated by our knowledgeable and friendly guide. We would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

I have been on many tours during my 30 years of teaching overseas. The tour size was great, only 4,with max she takes is 8. Our guide was very kind, dropping us near our apartment at end of tour. The guide has only been a guide for 3 years, so she is still learning. She provided basic info,not depth

We hebben super genoten van de tour. Marc, onze gids is een echte kenner. Hij heeft zelf een wijngaard en spreekt dus met kennis ter zake. De uitleg was zeer goed gebracht zodat het voor iedereen begrijpbaar was. Ook de olijfolie was super, zowel de olies als de uitleg. Meer dan een aanrader! In de streek = een must do.
