Everything was enjoyable, relaxing, great way to see the landscape, and get a bit of exercise. Guide was very informative and friendly. Will go again.

Experience was nice and was also good training especially when rowing against some wind 😃. Highly recommend, James was really good guide.

Very nice experience with calm waters and great scenery, our tour guide Nicola was more than great. Highly recommended although a bit overpriced.

Never knew you could learn about a city through a kayaking experience but I’m so glad I did. I got to see and learn about new parts of the city that I never would have on my own while also being one with nature. Definitely recommend if you have the time.

Beautiful day on the water in Vienna. James was a fantastic guide with insights we would not have gotten on a traditional tour. The setting was unique and special. We really loved the outing.

I would rate 6 if I could. James and Nicola were knowledgeable and shared the unique tidbits of Vienna life. We learned a lot , It was fun to see from the water and a relaxing way to tour. The kayaks were first class, easy to paddle. You don’t need experience to enjoy this trip. James provided us afterward with tips and suggestions for other things to do.

We had an great day on the water with James. It was a very pleasent outing during our very hot citytrip. The trip had it all: it was active, informative and just a great way to see Vienna from a different perspective. James is super relaxed and easy to talk to.

A must do if you like fun, fresh air and a great guide. What a fantastic way to learn about Vienna with recommendations for food and further activities. James goes out of his way to involve everyone and ensures that everyone gets the most out of the tour. A stop for some swimming was really enjoyable and greatly appreciated. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough. James is a really friendly & engaging guide, providing a different view of life in Vienna through the eyes of an expat. The canoeing isn’t too strenuous & it was good to get out on the water to cool off in the +30 degC heat. We also had chance to grab a dip in the river, so make sure you wear your swimming gear. He has a secure lock up for your gear, plus supplied a large waterproof pack & pouch for your phone. Would recommend wearing a hat & taking plenty of sun block. He also provided extra information on things to do in Vienna,’places to eat & Austrian wine. Not enough time to explore these on this visit, but will certainly be looking at them on any future visits. Thanks James, a really enjoyable & relaxing time on the river.

This experience was the best way to start our visit to Vienna, especially on an extremely hot day. Wear a bathing suit! He has a secure area for you to stash your things. James has a convenient location walkable to the Ubahn. His boats are safe and easy to handle and he gives good instruction for paddling. He has a great manner with adults and kids. If requested he can recommend other dining and tourist attractions. One in particular stood out for us. After visiting this one location it seemed to us to be is one of the best kept secrets in Vienna. You’ll have to join him to find out! Museums in Vienna are great but I highly recommend treating your group to an outdoor adventure like this. Learning more about the Alte Donau and the growth of the surrounding area was itself a great cultural experience for my family. Treat yourself and you won’t be disappointed!!

We had a wonderful time kayaking with James. We are a family of four with two children aged 10 and 8 and this was a perfect activity for all of us. It was fun and a great way to see a different side to the city with incredible views. James is very friendly and very knowledgeable and made the whole day a great experience. James followed up the day with an email full of great recommendations. We took up a few of these and we’re not disappointed. I would highly recommend this as a fantastic day out. It was the best day of our holiday!!
