We had a lovely tour to Ephesus and the house of mother Mary with a small group. Our guide, Baris was excellent and knew so much about the history and background of the location. We enjoyed exploring the site and reliving what life in that era would have been like. Baris was excellent in showing us the best spots for photographs, keeping us away from crowds and recommending places we should explore more. His experience and knowledge made such a difference in our experience in all the locations we visited. Overall this was such a fantastic tour.

The entire tour was amazing and friendly. Explanations were fantastic, learnt a lot about the history of the place. The views were breathtaking. At the end we had lunch at a very nice hotel with good options and taste for vegetarians.

Melis gave an excellent tour of Ephesus- we fell in love with the city and its history. Tour was super bien organised: pick up at our hotel, great transport, lunch provided. Melis is very nice and knowledgeable! Very enjoyable experience.

Melis, our tour guide, picked us up in a luxury Mercedes bus and together with 4 more couples, we visited Ephesus, the House of Virgin Mary, The Temple of Artemis. The lunch break was an excellent open buffet. Melis provided us with good technical and historical knowledge, delivered with great energy and humour. Highly recommended!

We took a day-trip to Ephesus with Melis and it was fantastic. We had a really fun day with Turkey’s best and most fun guide. Ephesus is a beautiful historical site with plenty to see and visit. Melis knows all the history and the best stories to tell us, she really brought history alive. She also brought us to see the Temple of Artemis and even arranged a delicious lunch for us. I would highly recommend this tour and above all I would recommend Melis. She even gave me a prize just for trying to speak Turkish. Great day out!

Melis was our guide for the day trip from kusadasi to effesus. She was brilliant from the first meeting. Everything she did for us on the trip was amazing. We could not have asked for a better tour guide. Her personality is suited to the job.

Excellent tour of Ephesus and surrounding attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our day, the highlight of our trip to Turkey so far, would definitely recommend. Melis spoke fantastic English and was very knowledgable about the history and culture of the area. It was great to have the transport provided and not to worry about sourcing our own tickets. Booked this trip last minute, and well worth it. I booked the night before the excursion. I booked to include transfer, and the delightful Melis greeted me at my hotel, before proceeding to pick up 10 other guests. Melis was really friendly, and nothing was too much trouble - helping other guests with advice on where to eat, and places to shop - lovely to see. Not all agents will include entrance fees, so just double check, mine didn’t and I was well aware of this before boarding. Most Tripadvisor/Viator or Google info will tell you, so just have euros/Lire ready or you can pay by card. First visit was to the house of Virgin Mary, rumoured to be the last place of Mary, mother to Jesus, and the nearby tomb of St John adds weight to this. (Entrance was 400 TRY when not included) Next was the incredible Ephesus, well worth the money, and a good couple of hours to explore. Melis gave us some really great info as we walked about - stunning architecture dating back 2000 years! Again, entry wasn’t included, and I was aware I needed to pay €40 entry - the immersive museum experience was incredible. After we did a brief stop at a factory where various china goods are made - really interesting and no obligation to buy - there really isn’t any pressure, which was great for a change. After a lunch stop (I went for the tour option that didn’t include lunch and paid separately) - food and service were great. Finally a brief stop at the Artimison, and the tour was concluded. A massive thanks to Melis, for being so smiley and helpful and for keeping the group together - not an easy job. A few tips: - comfy and supportive shoes, the marble paths are slippy - bring water, you’ll get thirsty - make use of the WC when offered as at Ephesus they are limited - take some cash for tips (felt so bad I didn’t have any!) - hats and sunscreen definitely advisable - do check if things are included, I knew what I was and wasn’t paying for

Yesra is a very knowledgable guide. Her Ephesus tour was very informative and interesting. Even for tourists like me, who is not familiar with the Greek and Roman history, she gave clear background information on the ancient city and temple of Artemis. With her descriptions, we can draw vivid pictures of the ancient lives in our imagination. She is also very helpful on guiding us to other tourist sights and gave transportation tips.
