We had Antonio he was great we enjoyed the day with my husbands brother and wife! We would highly recommend this trip with Antonio!

Very enjoyable trip, very relaxed with plenty to see, and a decent amount of time to explore. Antonio is very knowledgeable and considerate, helping us avoid busy times for lunch, and advising on good eating spots. We felt we saw and experienced a range of inland attractions at the Algarve, with good company, and finished with good wines. A very pleasant day out.

Excellent trip. Very relaxed, comfortable minibus. Antonia is very knowledgeable and friendly. The timings were very good, and we missed the lunchtime crowd. Gret to see other villages and inland scenery.

Brother, sisters and I took a day (afternoon)-trip from Lagos and it was truly lovely. If you are the type that prefers to spend time outside, yet still like castles, this is a trip for you. The people in the town are super friendly. If you are lucky(as we were), you will look up and see entire walls of stork nests (seriously!). The only negative I can say is that there is a lot of dog poop in the streets. (That seems to be a problem in a lot of Portugal and perhaps education on how the bacteria ends up in the water table when it rains might help the situation.).

Antonio is an excellent guide, friendly and with a wealth of information on all aspects of the area. The tour itself is well paced, giving you just enough time at each location to not feel rushed, while also not feeling like you have seen too little. The sights are amazing, including both wonderful historical sites and the area's natural beauty. I would absolutely recommend this tour specifically, but also any of Antonio's tours as he is a fantastic and personable guide.

It was supposed to be a wine tour, but for me it was not. We where first dropped off on an old castle that has nothing to do with wine, then we visited a wine domain, of which we only got to see the terras to taste a few wines and that was it. No visit of the case, no walk though the vineyard or what so ever. If you really want to make it a wine tour, add some more vineyeards to the program in stead of just one, and do not limit yourself the the terras.

This trip was fantastic! Antonio was a wonderful guide who really knew his stuff. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

We spent a delightful day with Antonio. He is very friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The castle in Silves is one of the best we’ve seen, Caldas de Monchique is a beautiful, lush area which was enjoyed for its restorative waters. The town of Monchique is lovely to explore, and we enjoyed where we chose to have lunch (a “black pig” meal). The wine tasting was enjoyable as well. We highly recommend Antonio as a guide.

We really enjoyed this small group, day trip from Lagos! It was a fun & personal way to experience & learn more about some other interesting landmarks, history & beauty in the nearby countryside. Antonio was an exceptional host/guide - he picked us up right at our Airbnb & shared a lot of personal insights re the area, the history, answered all our questions etc. Wine tasting wrap up was enjoyed by all!

A very pleasant day spent touring in Portugal from Lagos. We enjoyed all aspects of this tour. António is a terrific guide. Very knowledgable, friendly, easy to chat with for sure. Somehow his timing is impeccable in getting to the different locations ahead of the larger tour groups. Much to see with plenty of time at each stop on the tour. This is a great all day trip from Lagos.

It was very hard to find a tour willing to take a single traveler but Antonio accepted my reservation. Pedro led the tour. He was very personable and informative. Providing local antidotes in addition to relevant info. Enjoyed the time we were given to visit Monchique as well as the wonderful opportunity to visit, relax and enjoy very nice wines with my fellow travelers at the winery.

Really enjoyable, great value day out, with a knowledgeable and friendly host. I bought two bottles of wine after the fabulous wine tasting.

You are in the best of hands with Antonio. He will give you the time needed to wander, taste and breathe. Monchique was very unique. Love the miracle water (and the local moonshine).

António was knowledgeable, friendly and went out of his way to make our day special. From the Castle to magic water to shots of local liquor and grapes straight from the vine it was a day I’ll never forget!

This was a wonderful trip, cannot recommend enough. Our guide Antonio was excellent from start to finish - very friendly and knowledgable of the area, and we felt safe in his care at all times. We packed a lot into the day but did not feel rushed at any point. Silves including the castle was very interesting, especially all the gardens within the castle. Monchique was a lovely little town where we stopped for lunch and a wander round. We then drove to the top of Mount Foia where we took in the view and also visited a lovely local artisan craft shop. After this we visited Quinta do Frances for a brilliant wine tasting. The hotel pick-up and drop-off was arranged very well, and the drive was good - far enough to feel as though you have visited somewhere else but not so far that too much time was spent in the car. The group was the perfect size as well.

The best in the region 👋 Antonio was so knowledgeable and Friendly. Car very clean and very safe driver. Recommend to all 👌
