This was the second small group tour we did with big Dave, and he did not disappoint. Dave’s respectful and knowledgeable history of Vietnam is fabulous and we learned a lot. The tunnels themselves are quite small but Dave encouraged us to try the 100 meters, which was a challenge for my hubby who is a big guy. So glad we took Dave’s advice as it was an amazing experience. We highly recommend this tour and make sure to ask for big Dave!

Our guide Dana was happy to talk to us explain everything we could ask about Vietnamese life on the trip to the tunnels. The stop at the shop was excellent. Air con 8 seater bus with leather electric seats was a surprise. Brilliant guide and safe driver. Dana took us through the tunnel exhibition on the surface then handed us over the underground guide. The tour guide in the tunnel took a video of us going through 40m of the 100m underground system. Tunnel was clean - no bugs, no real dirt and good ventilation considering what it is. 38 degree day so sweated buckets for the whole experience but worth every drop. Must do for anyone heading to Saigon who has the physical capability.

A really cool experience with a lovely guide. Dana was knowledgeable and had a lot of insight into the history of the war. I came in with little knowledge and while my partner knew quite a bit and had been before. We both thoroughly enjoyed our time and sweat our butts off in the tunnel.

Stark was an exceptional tour guide, his English was excellent and a fantastic story teller, making the day interesting and fun. My son is leaning about Vietnam at school and he really enjoyed the day, in particular shooting the AK47 and having a go at climbing through the tunnels. The trip was well organised. Our guide Tung was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of information and background. It was amazing to try to keep up with him in the tunnels. Overall a very good and interesting experience.

We originally thought that this was a visit to see the tunnels, but there was much more to the trip than that. Our expert guide, Mr. Pham Tung showed us how the man ways the VC army survived and fought the invading soldiers. This is not a trip that would be practical without a guide, and we were very happy with ours.

The tour was excellent! We stuck to time everywhere and Big David (our funny and vibrant tour guide) was brilliant. He kept us engaged with all the information in the bus (war stories, anecdotes), and also ensured the small group of 4 is able to visit all the sites during the tour. Big David also provided a lot of information about places for shopping and eating in Saigon! Overall a great experience on this half day Asiana tour with a great guide, comfortable bus ride, nice complimentary lunch at the end. Highly recommended 👌

This was an awesome half day tour for a family. Our guide, Dana made it excellent. She was really knowledgeable, funny and answered all of our questions. We’re traveling with kids (ages 9 and 12) and Dana adapted content to suit them and engaged them. The only part that didn’t suit us was the shooting range, it was quite loud which the kids didn’t enjoy. Find some shade away from the noise.

Second tour with Big David..if you want a honest enjoyable, informative and best experience look no further.. Had 2 days in a row with Big David wish we could have him all through our trip in Vietnam. Thank you for everything holiday to remember. Mekong Delta and Tunnels today very fortunate to have him. Goid sense of humour speaks English fluently and has lots of knowledge.

Super cool experience exploring the Cu Chi tunnels nearby Saigon. Our guide could tell us a lot about the wartime and the consequences of it, even till today. The ride was comfortable and pickup was arranged. I am 193cm and did the 100m tunnel which was really do-able. Thanks to Dana for being our great guide on this trip!

Definitely an over rated tour. Although very interesting and our guide was excellent and spoke great English. To travel 2 hrs each way just to basically just crawl through a tunnel on your hands & knees. Seeing the traps & how they work was good but to me I'd have spent my money & time doing something else had I know a little more about this tour.

We were in a very small group, me, my wife and another UK couple. Our guide, Big David was very knowledgeable giving us a full history of Vietnam whilst travelling to the tunnels. At no point were we switched off. He delivered a very good mix of humour, interesting stories, opinions and facts. My only criticism is that it all seemed a little bit rushed. For example, the introductory film was skipped. His reasons were that he had already given all the information and the film is also propaganda. Nevertheless, he is a very friendly, funny guide who will happily answer any questions you may have. He finished the tour with invaluable survival tips and eating out recommendations in Saigon.
