An intimate, fun excursion! We were staying in Siena and felt that it was the best way to see the beautiful Tuscan countryside and experience some excellent Chianti wines. We were right! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and polite, and had excellent relationships with the wineries we visited. Would do it again and would recommend to anyone looking to make new friends and learn about region!

The guide Matteo was very knowledgeable and friendly!! The trip was very down to earth, small family run vineyards and lots of variety. Lots of photo opportunities!

We had an amazing experience yesterday visiting 3 very different Chianti wineries, on the Chianti Classico wine tour! Our guide Daniele was absolutely fantastic, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about wine making. We were in a very small group - there were only 2 other people on our tour, which made it a wonderfully personal experience. I don’t want to say any more about the tour itself, it’s best not to have any spoilers 😊 Thank you for a fantastic day Daniele!

Booked the Small Group Chianti and Castles Wine tour which ended up turning into a private tour as my wife and I were the only people to book the tour that day. Our experience was fantastic with our guide incredibly hospitality and just loved to talk about wine, getting to know us and talking about Italian culture. The tour consisted of 4 stops with 3 wineries for tastings including one visit to a Castle and a village to stretch our legs. Our favorite stop was to a very small family winery which included an amazing Tuscan lunch with both the hosting family and guide. This tour was one of the most treasured memory we have of the trip.

This trip was exceptional. Our guide Danielle is someone you would choose for a friend. The wineries were special, especially one that was a ver small bottler. Lunch was included and quite a feast.

Scenery fantastic but what really made it was tour guiide Mattia Barzaghi. A wine maker in earlier life he could explain intricacies of wine with simple analagies and bit of chemistry where required. Learned so much in a day. Bonus was huge lunch (unexoected on such tours) with variety foods to pair with wine. Do yourself a favour and ask for Mattia

Truly enjoyed the day. Mattia was an excellent guide - loves wine and is incredibly knowledgeable. Right mix of stops and driving. Good number of people. Wonderful wine, food and time had by all. Highly recommend!

Daniel was very informative. A little disappointed that after 5 hours on a wine tasting trip we had had only one taste of wine. When we arrived at the 2nd winery...it would have been nice to have been given a taste while listening to how wine is made. Wish we knew lunch was not going to be until 2:00. Lunch was great. Water in the van would be nice. We would definitely recommend.

We loved our Chianti tour with Francesco and Tuscan escapes! Francesco was very knowledgeable, took pride in the Tuscany region that he was from, and was engaging the entire time. We appreciated the additional insights he had into the lands history, legends, and olive oil production. The wine producer stops showed us a range of size producers and the best was the private lunch at La Loma, outdoors, home made, great views, and served with their wine. If you want to buy wines you try, each producer would ship to the US with a 6 bottle minimum for somewhere between 30-70$.

A spectacular day of wine tastings and food pairings with a very knowledgeable guide/driver. A wonderful experience!

This was absolutely one of the highlights of our time in Tuscany. Our Guide Mattia was an ex winemaker so we learnt so much about the process and he was also very entertaining. There were two other couples in our group so the size was great and everyone enjoyed each other’s company through the day. When we woke up and there was a massive storm we didn’t think it it was going to be any good but the rain stopped just in time and the sun came out about 45 minutes into the trip making it a perfect day. Thank you Mattia!

Our guide, Guellmo(?) was a perfect gentleman and very passionate about his career. His English was excellent and his historical knowledge of Italy made for a most wonderful day that we will never forget!

We had the pleasure of being guided by Guillermo (Will for short) for our Chianti and Castle experience. We were incredibly lucky to be in a small group (four of us) which made the experience that bit more personal. Will has incredible knowledge of the history of the region and most importantly about Chianti. We had several tastings over the day, our favourite was at a very small vineyard where we were treated to a tour and an amazing home cooked lunch. Will is easily one of the best guides we have ever had, he has a disarming charm and a great sense of humour. We will definitely come back to Tuscany and will be looking forward to trying another amazing wine experience.

We cannot say enough good things about this tour and our tour guide, Mattia! If you are on the fence about booking this tour, DO IT. We had a wonderful day wandering around the historical Brolio castle and small family owned wineries in the Chianti region. The lunch was not only filling but delicious with local ingredients and cuisine. But the highlight of the day was learning from Mattia about the wine making process. He was a wine-maker himself so he is extremely knowledgeable and not to mention, funny! We learned so much about wine on this trip and really have a new appreciation for all the hard work these family-run wineries put into their products. Be prepared to buy a couple bottles or a case of wine since they are all so good! Would highly recommend this tour and company.

First of all, Danielle has been a great host, very knowledgeable, patient, professional and friendly. He took us to 3 different locations for wine tasting but also to another two small and wonderful little towns where we could spend as much time as we wanted to visit/take pictures and enjoy the views. The entire tour lasted more than we expected, around 08h 30’, which was great and at no time there was any feeling that we are in a rush. We felt very comfortable with Danielle, he explained and provided lots of information about wine, Toscana in general. It was great to chat with him along the way. The places where we tasted wines were very different and we enjoyed the varieties of red wine that the region has to offer. The meal was more than enough for the 3 of us, local products, very fresh, homemade pasta and a great dessert.

The Chianti and Castles tour was a major highlight of our entire trip to Italy. Giorgia was an exceptional guide, she is so knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the wine making process. We learned so much from her and she was very relatable and easy to get along with. We were the only ones in the small group tour and Giorgia allowed us choice and flexibility throughout the day. Each stop was so special however, the lunch and wine tasting was beyond anything we had expected. There was so much delicious, homemade, authentic food and the wine was so good. As a couple traveling on a budget, we were treating ourselves with this experience and I can confidently say it was worth every penny to experience Tuscany in this way. Thank you!!
