Awana was the best guide. He is beyond knowledgeable about the Hawaiian culture, and history of the land. Not only that, he is super funny and makes time fly. I was quite sad when the tour ended. It was an incredible experience, to say the least. My mother enjoyed every minute, as did I. I highly recommend this tour. Awana is someone I recommend to book with. He will have you laughing and enjoying life.

Loved all the stops. Day is LONG. Lunch was good. They provide all the water that was nice. Plenty of stops for the bathroom. The roads are bumpy. The tour guide did a lot of talking sometimes a bit repetitive and for overwhelming. By the end of the day the van is hot and stuffy.

So glad we took this tour! Brian is an excellent tour guide. We were so impressed by how he could simultaneously navigate us around the island, tell us its history, and answer ALL of our questions. He also told us about unique activities that are hard to find online. We were able to book a few of them before our trip ended. I highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your first trip to Hawaii. You'll see all the sights and learn about new things to do for the remainder of your trip.

First let me say our guide was great. Dastan Khosraw knew all about the Island and made great recommendations. We decided to do this tour on our first full day so that we could get a feel for things and go back to places on our own after seeing with a guide. It was a super smart decision. We did not end up going back to anything but we went to other places we learned about during the tour - everything from restaurants to snorkeling and it really made a huge difference in our trip. While this is a long day, it went quickly and because of Dastan's familiarity with things we got to places quickly and had great access. I will say the stop at the bakery was a surprising plus as the donuts were the best I have ever had. Everything from the lava tube, craters, waterfalls, black sand beach was amazing. Really high recommend. I would recommend bringing your own water/drink - they do provide a very tasty lunch and have raincoats if you feel you need them visiting the waterfalls.

A 12-hour-long trip around the Big Island was absolutely great. We learned a lot about the history and the culture of Hawaii and saw the most interesting sights on the island: a volcano, the waterfalls, the beaches, the mountains, the coffee farms – all in one day. Out tour guide Robert has been outstanding. I strongly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide David with Wasabi Tours was absolutely amazing and extremely knowledgeable. He provided extra photos and videos of things around the island was a nice added touch. He also pointed out a lot of different birds, trees, other sights, etc. We really enjoyed the entire tour and highly recommend to anyone visiting the island.

It was an exhausting but delightful and thrilling twelve hours. The bus was comfortably cool with AC although a little cramped if it was at max capacity. The tour guide, Alana, was amazing and knowledgeable and upbeat. She answered every question and handled every little hiccup with grace and humor. We ended up not going to one stop because of weather, but we saw so so so much that it made the ticket and the time definitely worthwhile.

I had requested for vegetarian food while booking the tour. I had also got a call from viator office confirming my food preference. But vegetarian food was not given to my tour guide and she was not communicated by your office about the vegetarian food. In the evening, was told that I will get my refund for the food. So far I haven’t received it

Tour guide Robert was entertaining and informative. Tour was a great way to learn a lot about this island and see a lot of it without a lot of driving. The view of the volcano was a little disappointing. Robert said it's better after dark. Biggest drawback was that some of our tour mates could not keep track of time and get back to the van when they were supposed to, but that isn't the tours fault.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! We wanted to see the island but didn’t know where to start so we booked this tour. It is a great way to get a taste of the island and figure out where you’d like to go on your own to see more. Our tour guide, David, did a wonderful job at making sure we got to see everything and had so much knowledge of the island. We both would highly recommend this tour!!!

Loved the tour. Tour guide, David, was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and he was personable. If left on my own to discover these places I would not have been as successful. The tour was like receiving a blueprint of areas I would like to explore further during my stay.
