This trip encompassed everything one could want in a day trip around the entire big island. Our guide, Robert, went above and beyond in our experiences. His knowledge of the tour stops and Hawaiian history was very appreciated. The stops at the falls were especially amazing! Highly recommend this full day trip!!
Our travel guide was a super great guy and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our trip immensely. We enjoyed the volcano sight, the black sand beach. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting this island.
This was another amazing trip. Shout out to Derek Stuart our tour guide and drive for making this trip worth it. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the island and the stops we made along the way, but he was attentive to all of us, answering any questions we have and oh boy did we have a lot. He also shared his personal experience on the island which was an added bonus that made the experience even more exhilarating. I would definitely recommend that anyone considering to take this tour to do. You will not regret it.
First and foremost, our tour guide,Tyler, was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable about the island, friendly and truly wanted to make our experience memorable - we’re Ohana! The van was comfy and we saw the entire island. Coffee farms, volcanoes and waterfalls. It takes an entire day but well worth it
Wonderful day trip with local guide Awana who gave a great commentary on everything from local history to the geology. Black beach stop amazing for lunch 🍱 and several turtles sunning themselves there - waterfalls, rainforest, bakery stop and locally grown coffee tasting plus many washroom breaks as well as lots of iced bottles of water/canned drinks and snacks. Best way to see entire island from Kona to Hilo and Waimea in the N!
Long but awesome day! Our guide Awanna was knowledgeable, funny, a great driver and an all around nice guy. We experienced a teaser trip of what the big island offers. Just wish there was an opportunity to swim in a waterfall. Overall a fun experience.
The tour was terrific and our tour guide, Dreu, really made it a memorable experience. He was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the Big Island and Hawaii, and was especially respectful of the Hawaiian culture. He went above and beyond to make the tour a great experience for us.
Our tour guide, Robert was the absolute best. His knowledge of Hawaiian history blew me away. We covered a lot of the island in one full day. It was a good pace and Robert kept it interesting during the drive times between stops. Highly recommend the tour and Robert our guide.
Drew was an exceptional tour guide, delivering the perfect combination of historical facts, legends and lore, as he took us on the circle tour. We had perfect weather throughout the day as we visited multiple sights around the island. Drew took the opportunity to understand the goals of each guest on out tour. He pointed out different activities, sites and restaurant recommendations to those of us who would be exploring the island on our own later. This tour is a must for those who want a great overview of what the island has to offer. I can’t imagine another tour guide could have done a better job than Drew!
Big thanks to Brian our tour guide sooo much history and amazing sights to see. The beauty of the islands never disappoints! Brian’s humor and knowledge of history and legend as well are greatly appreciated and he gives off a very good vibe. BMW van very comfortable and ac works well and lunch was delicious!!! Highly recommend this tour !!!!
Our tour guide Alana was the best! She made our tour fun and rewarding with her knowledge. Great tour to take and worth the time to see all the venues. Weather was great!
Dave was an excellent guide with interesting facts, excellent conversation on topic and off topic. We had time limits but did not feel rushed and gave extra time as the group needed. Was a great and long tour but well worth it.
The guide took us to hidden away gems. Very knowledgeable both of the tour stops as well as Hawaii history and culture overall. Its a long day but well worth it.
Robert was extremely knowledgeable and great tour guide. Thank you. Would recommend trip as soon as you get to island. Robert tells you a lot of places to go on your own. Wish we would have done it first.
The volcanos were awesome. Our tour guide Robert amazed us with his Hawaiian history knowledge. It was a great tour.
Taylor was an outstanding guide. Very knowledgeable and thorough. Sites were beautiful... stunning flowers and other foliage. It's a long day, so be prepared. So well worth it, though.
Thank you Brian for giving us the best time. He educated us about Hawaii, entertain us, and made the trip awesome. really recommend this guy from wasabi tour.
Really well organized tour. We are glad we did this tour in the big island. Especially since we didn't rent a car. I would highly recommend this tour.
Brian, the Tour guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Learnt so much history of the Hawaii islands from him.
Aaron was very cool and professional. He was really a historian about the Hawaiian culture. Very friendly, hospitable and accommodating. He really made sure that our trip was enjoyable, exciting and educational. He is totally an expert with eco-tourism. Wasabi company is lucky to have him.
A very wonderful tour led by Brett who was both well informed and enjoyed what he was doing. A long day as expected but no other way to see this island overall in a day. Nice lunch. Tour was not rushed. Weather turned out great. Thanks Brett.
Our tour guide, Brett, is the best guide I have seen of all my travel experience. I have travelled a lot in the world, went on many different tours. Brett really stands out. He put you instantly at ease, very knowledgeable and worked very hard to make sure everyone was having a great time. He even played Ukulele while we were eating lunch. He brought the Hawaii flowers for all the ladies, decorated the vehicles with some local flowers. He provided water and snack throughout the trip, even hand sanitizer throughout the trip! Although it was a 12-hour tour, but he made it so enjoyable that you felt times just flew by. I have to say his tour is definitely the highlight of my entire Hawaii vacation experience. You should come to Hawaii to just meet Brett!
Our guide, Tyler, was excellent. He had so many interesting stories to tell! We saw all the sites listed on the tour description and we didn’t feel rushed. The van was also very nice.
What an amazing excursion of the Big Island. Robert really did a phenomenal job telling us the history of Hawaii. The places he took us to were breathtaking. Highly recommend this trip!!!
Our guide Brett was awesome. Really knowledgeable about the island, volcanos and history. Great trip. You're missing out if you don't take the day and tour the island!
Great to see the whole island in one day, but there was a lot more driving than I was prepared for! The stops were all 20 minutes at most, and weather got in the way of our last stop. But the tour guide was very knowledgeable and told great stories and jokes!
Awana was an incredible tour guide! He was like a walking encyclopedia of knowledge of Hawaii, and had a lovely way about him. He made the 11 hour day lots of fun as we covered the whole island! I definitely would want to travel with him again.
We had an amazing time seeing the highlights of the Big Island while being given great history, facts and stories from the tour guides Dave and Robert. I highly recommend this tour. It is a long day, but they provided snacks, water, and lunch and seeing the whole island and all it’s beauty definitely made the tour a worthwhile adventure!!!
The tour was amazing. I loved seeing Hawaii and learning about the island from our tour guide, Brett. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. He was willing to take pictures for people, he knew short cuts for people who were not as fit to do the short hikes. The food was great and he played music during lunch. Brett was even prepared for rain by providing us all with rain coats. The first aid kit he provided helped someone who fell. I would recommend this tour for anyone new to the island. Thanks, Brett!
This tour of Big Island in a day is exactly what it is. If you're time is short on the Island OR you just want 1 day of taking a break a break from the beach- this is it. I love the little touches on the tour- Started off a Kona Coffee Farm to try Kona coffee, stopped at the best bakery I've ever been to and tried Masalada which is a much, Black Sands Beach, Volcanoes National Park, 2 waterfalls and a pretty lookout point. The tour offered plenty of water and snacks and rain jackets as needed. The van was super clean and Aaron was very knowledgeable. You literally drive around the entire Island and see how different the climates are. A must do-
