This experience was amazing. So fun, interesting, and beautiful. 10/10 recommend. Sergio was our chocolate and coffee tour guide. I was worried if this would be boring but it was far from it! Sergio made the experience extremely fun and informative. Tasted great coffee and fresh chocolate! Couldn’t have been better and Sergio was our favorite local during our Costa Rica visit. We met Mr. Bogarin who owns the trail at a local soda after we already had this combo booked. Everything he spoke of the trail was accurate and he was extremely kind, even offering to come be our guide. Eric was our sloth trail guide. We saw 4 sloths plus 2 baby sloths, multiple birds including owls, tree frogs, and got amazing pictures from regular perspective and through the telescope. Wouldn’t have seen anything we did without Eric’s assistance. This combo tour was our favorite experience in our 3 day time in La Fortuna.

Good tour. Little rain, but it wasn't a big deal. Loved that we didn't just look for sloths, but saw other creatures as well. It was actually pretty cool and I recommend. Brandon was an excellent guide.

We had Randy for the cacao/coffee/sugarcane tour and it was spectacular. He was so informative and knowledgeable and made learning about each, so much fun! We also had Josef for the sloth observation and tour around the rainforest and had the time of our lives. We saw sloths, a viper, frogs, birds, butterflies, and lizards. He had a great eye and was great about making sure we got plenty of pictures and opportunity to see all of the nature. He was also very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area and kept the tour fun! Both of our guides for each activity were funny, kind, and extremely personable. You can tell they care about the work that they do. 10/10.

Erick and Elias were incredible!! Cannot recommend enough. We got to see all different kinds of wildlife! Got there at 8 am, we’re done around 12:15.

I had a great time on this tour. Randy led the coffee, chocolate, and sugarcane experiences and was super knowledgeable and gave a very interactive tour. Coffee and chocolate were delicious. Sergio was our guide for the sloth tour, and he was amazing at spotting animals (not just the sloths). He was also super helpful with taking photos and making sure everyone was able to see the animals.

Sergio took us around sloth park and it was an AMAZING experience. He helped us to spot 5 sloths, including a mom and baby! He is incredibly knowledgeable not only about sloths but about all wildlife here in costa rica. We also saw a viper, a basilisk, and poisonous dart frogs as well. Highly recommend Sergio and this experience as a whole! Sergio also helps capture photos of all the sloths and animals seen close up so you can remember them forever. Randy was AMAZING! I cannot say enough good things about what a fantastic guide Randy was. He knew the answer to EVERY single question we asked him. He clearly is an expert in his craft and anyone would be so lucky to learn all things coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane from him. Johnny was so much fun and a very knowledgeable tour guide! He helped us make our own coffee and it was delicious! Our sloth tour guide was just as amazing! He took us right to where the animals were and answered all questions when we asked them! All around amazing experiences!

This was a fantastic tour. The guides were so friendly and we learned a lot. Saw lots of sloths and had fun. We got to try some coffee and chocolate, that was great.

Great experience, both the cultural (Sergio) and the nature guides (Josef) did a great job of sharing interesting details and showing us the sights. The coffee/chocolate/sugarcane tour on premises was informative and even more interactive than we expected, including samples at each stage of the journey. The sloth and wildlife tour included a jungle walk on smooth terrain, and our guide shared information as he pointed out wildlife for us, set up spotting scope, and assisted with getting good photos throughout. We saw two-toed and three-toed sloths in the canopy, owls, lizards, bats, ground birds and canopy birds, insects, and had a great time.

The coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane explanations and process were fascinating and informative. You get to see and try the fruits, and are taught the whole process. Westler and Johnny were amazing! The sloths tour was also incredibly interesting and you get to see a lot of variety of animals you otherwise would never be able to find on your own.

Emilio was the absolute best tour guide! Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about the coffee and chocolate processes, but he made it so fun! We also had the pleasure of having him as our sloth tour guide, where he easily pointed out many animals and even helped us take pictures through his telescope. We highly recommend Emilio and this tour!!!

Our tour guides were incredible. Eric gave us such a wonderful and informative picture of what it takes to make chocolate and coffee, and we had a blast making it ourselves! The tour was set up for it to be super easy for us tourists to experience all of it. Ele was incredible with sloths! I swear, he has magic eyes. Even when he would show me where the sloth were, I could NOT See them with my naked eye! Highly recommend going for the tour, otherwise we would never have seen a single one. His experience and knowledge of all the wildlife, plants, and history of the acreage was wonderful to listen to. Ask him any question you can think of! He knows everything.

Highly recommend this tour! Shoutout to Randy (who did the coffee/chocolate/sugarcane tour) and Johnny (who did the sloth/animal watching tour). Both guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. Randy led us through the coffee/chocolate/sugarcane tour and had a lot of information to share on the history of all three plants and how they affected Costa Rica’s economy. He was very enthusiastic throughout the tour and allowed us to taste everything. Johnny led our sloth tour and he was able to spot several sloths for us (including baby sloths) among other animals. He gave very detailed explanations on the sloths behaviors, including their habits and how territorial they can be. He seemed to have a great understanding of all the animals in the park and he was very excited to show us each animal he spotted. He’s also amazing at helping you capture great photos!!

Nathan was an incredible guide! Very knowledgeable and patient! He made sure out three years old always say the animals and felt involved!
