This tour was fantastic! We had an amazing tour guide who clearly loves NY and its history! Mark Veneglia with Babylon tours is who you want to guide you. He hit the highlights and his storytelling was superb! It is a HUGE museum, taking this tour allowed us to see more than if we had done it without a guide…you would be there all day trying to get through all of it. Visit The Met, it was excellent!

I like to have a guide show & tell me the who & where & when & what for -with detailed antidotes, and Mark was that guy..

This is one of the best art tours we have had. Mark is so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic that the time just flies by and you want to just keep going and discover everything about the Met. He even had our husband’s participating!!! . Five star your!!!

Cherie was our guide, and she was very knowledgeable and informative about art and the museum. You do need at least 2 days to see everything the museum has to offer.

This tour was an excellent choice! The semi-private tour is the way to go! This museum is large, having the tour guide showed us the highlights throughout the museum plus the guide was amazing! His knowledge in art history and NYC allowed beautiful storytelling and detailed background. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Cherie did a great job giving us a nice overview of the Met museum and some interesting background in each area we visited. She paced the visit so we saw many areas and could decide where we wanted to return to later. I would highly recommend.

Tour guide Cheri was punctual and she managed the time well between exhibitions and bathroom break. Efficient way to spend 2.5 hours in the MET and you can stay longer afterwards. Good way to get an overview of the museum before diving into your favorites.

Really enjoyed the tour- was worried 2.5 hrs might be a bit long, especially for a teen but kept informed & entertained & the comms pre meet were fantastic. Charlie is a knowledgable & articulate guide with great knowledge beyond just the exhibits- both on NY & broader art world. Highly recommend tour & especially as the Met is vast & busy & there seems to be no ‘Highlights Audio Guide’, which most museums offer as extra & are excellent. Catch up Met!

My family and I spent the morning at the Met with our engaging guide, Charlie. We had a rather long list of works we wanted to see. We knew we wouldn’t be able to get to all of them. I shared the list with Charlie ahead of time and he mapped out the pieces we he wasn’t able to show us in person so we were easily able to locate them after our tour was over. Charlie wasted no time getting us in and through the museum to see many works we knew and introduce us to new ones as well. He shared so much with us about the art, culture and history surrounding the Met and the works on display. We had a lovely morning and look forward to another museum with Charlie.

Jeff our guide was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and also added a humorous twist to his explanations so the 2.5 hours went by very quickly. The Met collection is so expansive that as a first time visitor, having a tour guide is really recommended.

Our tour guide Charlie made our experience PERFECT!
