David is one of the best guides we have had. Very knowledgeable. Good sense of humor. Easily guided our group through the crowd. Also gave good advice on where to find the best local restaurants.

The guide was both personable and knowledgeable. The pacing was good, and our skip the line was very convenient. We also had some special access to a couple out of the way areas that were not yet open to the public. The only thing that could have been a problem was limited access to bathrooms during the 3 and a half-hour tour. Also, it said to meet on the second floor of the Metro station, but that was misleading. It's really the grounds of the area OVER the Metro station, under the trees.

Our guide was great: smart informed and very pleasant A little shorter would have been okay I would recommend him. I enjoyed paying attention

Would have been a 5 but the leader was difficult to understand. Not his fault. The sound equipment the tour company provided was not great which made it difficult to understand what he was saying at times. He was great though. Enthusiastic, willing, very knowledgeable, and entertaining.

An excellent group tour with a lovely host. The Colosseum is not to be missed and lived up to all expectations. Bring some water as it's very busy and is quite a long tour.

We arranged two tours with A and R Tours out Rome—-Adrienne and Renato are the owners and provided an Excellent experience on both!! The first was done by Renato -a certified guide —to Coliseum and surrounding area. It was Excellent with much history and amusing stories. The second was of the Vatican done by an associate—Donatella. She took us through the Vatican museum and ended in the Sistine Chapel. The Basilica would have been included but closed that day. Both were 4 + hours long and well worth the experience!!

Tour was fantastic, informative and lots of time for taking photos and asking questions. Carlo was very friendly and knowledgable! Would definitely recommend when visiting Rome!

We had a great experience! Radu was a great guide and made the tour enjoyable even for someone who isn’t all that interested in history. Skipping the line also made all the difference. Highly recommend this tour if you want a seamless experience.

Radu/Ratu was phenomenal you could tell how much he loves Rome. He was so passionate made history come alive for us. His story telling skills has left an impression. Made me cry when he showed the difference between Ancient Rome versus the ruins as well as when he told us about Antonino and Faustina. If you are visiting the Colosseum try to get Radu as your guide with City Walking Tours.

Felicity was the perfect guide. She knows all we asked, she was funny and all works great. She speaks perfect english, because she was born in Liverpool.

2 we left the group outside I text to let city walkers know, radio was not clear guide could not be understood we were very disappointed we and 2 others were English but no one looked as if they knew what was be told to us, we have left the radio’s for collection as the Otivm hotel, and would like compensation for the £100 we paid for the tour. The meet up point was easy to find. The tour guide was well informed. It was great to avoid the long lines to get into the colosseum and Roman Forum. Recommend highly.

The guide made the whole tour. Really worth it. You could see she was passionate about history and we enjoyed it. The Colosseum and the Roman forum were impressive as well.

Fantastic views and a great experience. We took so many pictures. One of my highlights of Rome. Was sometimes difficult to understand the tour guide due to the accent but all in all it was a great tour and I would highly recommend 👍🏼

Worthwhile having the tour guide to know what you are looking at. Understand the history and make the most of being in Rome. It is worthwhile going inside the Colosseum and taking in all of it. To then go to the gardens and experience the views and sights is great

David our guide was the best tour guide I've ever had. Knowledgeable and very amusing which made tour very enjoyable. Cared about group and gave sit down breaks as frequently as possible. Even got guidance on toilets and exits.
