Watching the opening of the door. Pretty surreal to see the day’s opening of such a ubiquitous place.

Guide was very knowledgeable! It wasn’t a big group so everyone was able to hear and stay together. It was a beautiful climb and tour.

This activity is not for people with mobility issues. Even if you are in shape, it is a challenging climb up to the top. The stairs are windy, uneven and sometimes steep. The stairwells are narrow and claustrophobic. And the height is daunting. Our Guide Chira, was great. Extremely knowledgeable about the structure and the architects who built the Doumo. She's a pro at this climb as she says she does it 3 times a week. Although the weather was bad and the view was terrible, it is definitely worth the trip up to the top.

Wonderful experience. Breathtaking views. Sibilla was a very knowledgeable, accommodating guide. It is a challenge to climb all the steps even though our group could not physically make it all the way to the top, it was well worth it for the parts we got to see. Awe inspiring.

The most memorable and exciting part was having the escort open the doors with what appeared to be ancient keys And walking into the basilica in darkness and waiting for him to turn on the lights. Our guide Julia was so wonderful and kind and knowledgeable. An experience I would recommend to anyone even at the early hour we met.

Alla was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable about the Duomo and Florence in general. Highly recommend the opening of the Duomo. So beautiful and skipping the lines was the best.

From the minute we checked in we were greeted with a smile and enthusiasm . Very well organized . The best was our guide Chiara ( hope i spelled it right lol) She was a great story teller, had us engaged the whole time. Through her eyes we were able to see how this magnificent building came to be. Also highlighted Florence and all its magic

Claudia was a wonderful guide! So very informative and as advertised, we were the first in the cathedral for at least 20 Minutes, and then the first up to the top to all the wonderful Views of the city. So glad we booked this experience

The tour felt like the most intimate experience so far on our trip through Italy. Lets be honest, Italy is crowded, but this didn’t feel that way at all. Small group and our guide was amazing, she was very knowledgeable which really added to the entire experience. I definitely recommend this tour.

The walk up to the top of duomo was magnificent. To climb the steps of people who came centuries before you was inspiring.

Our tour guide was knowledgable and patient. She waited for people when they were late for the tour and waited for people when they had a difficult time climbing the stairs in the cathedral. She gave a detailed history of the cathedral, and answered everyone's questions.

Our tour was AWESOME & the best part of it was being able to have access inside the Duomo & climb the 462 steps to the top to view the panoramic view of Florence…BREATHTAKING!!! I highly recommended this tour when visiting Florence!

Our guide, Sara, was energetic and positive despite awful rainy and windy weather. We were part of a 19 person tour, but Sara made it feel quite private. She was very knowledgeable! The Duomo is beautiful!

Exclusive access to the Duomo before all the crowds gathered would have to be my favorite part of the tour. Seeing the big doors unlocked for us and then having the cavernous interior to ourselves.

Our tour guide was informative and always smiling, and she was knowledgeable. We had a tour inside the church and then started to climb the stairs till we reached the dumo. It is a bit challenging to climb all the stairs. More than 400 steps. The view from the dumo and skipping the line is worth the money. The tour doesn't include the baptistery nor the museum, but you can use the tickets that they provide to visit them later after. The tickets are good for 3 days.

My visit to the Duomo in Florence was an unforgettable experience. The beauty and history of the cathedral left me in awe.

This was well worth it! The views were amazing, and the guide was great. I think it is always helpful to have a guide share the history and perspective when visiting a local monument such as this.

Great tour of the basilica and duomo. There's a lot of steps but it's definitely worth the climb! The tour guide Carolina was very knowledgeable and friendly.
