We went on a full day wine tasting tour from Valencia. Our guide, Paulius was amazing. We learned a lot about the wines in the region and Spanish wines in general. Highly recommend!!!!

Really enjoyed the tour as we got to see some real wineries in the countryside rather than staying in the city. Not to mention the wine tasting was all top quality wine, our guide Paulie was very knowledgeable about the region and the wine! We not only got to see some interesting underground caves of wine cellars in the hilltop town Requena. We also got to see a huge vineyard with many acres of land, belonging to a wine making family for many generations. The trip ends with big bang in an authentic local restaurant. The food was mamamia!!

We had a great day with Paulius. The schedule was run smoothly and at a good pace, and he was a good and safe driver, too. I learnt a lot today: I now know there is a lot more to Spanish wine than the Riojas! He was very mindful of my vegan dietary requirements, and the lunch he arranged for me at a village restaurant was fantastic. I would highly recommend this.

We had a very nice tour. The combination with tasting / looking in the caves on the first adress, and the visit of Bodega Vera de Estenas after that, was a good combination. Lunch at Rest.Gerano we found very special because of the many locals eating there.

We had a fantastic day with our super knowledgeable host Paulius, who took us to some superb places for 2 great tastings and a downright incredible lunch in a place that you’d never ever find without insider knowledge. At the pickup we found out it was just us as no others had booked the tour that day, and at first we felt that was a bit of a shame, but it was actually great. Paulius is first class company and we learned so much about local history and local grapes and wines. The day just flew by! If you are a wine lover, I very much recommend this tour.

We booked through AMBIA Tours. Paul was our guide. My daughter and I were the only ones on the tour. Paul did state he likes to keep the groups small but would accommodate larger groups. We drove an hour out from Valencia to the quaint town of Requena. After a quick tour of the town, we went to the wine museum and the winery. We had a wine tasting of four wines and a cava in a private room. Paul possesses an indepth knowledge about the wine and the wine region we were in Next, he took us to a wine estate that was absolutely beautiful. We toured the winery where Paul again discussed the different grapes and the type of wine made at the estate. Afterward, we had a wine tasting with Paul and the charming Wine Master. We sat outside and tasted wines with a view of the beautiful countryside. The wines were delicious Valencia wines. Paul is a wonderful tour guide. My daughter and I had an amazing time. Paul mentioned that the company also offers other tours. I highly recommend Ambia Tours if you are visiting the Valencia area

Very enjoyable trip. Carlos is a very friendly and knowledgeable man. I have a passion for wine and found the whole experience very interesting, learning about the Utiel Requena and Valencia DOs. Beautiful meal after the winery visits too!

Exceeded expectations! Paulius is a terrific guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. He has a wealth of information of viniculture and Spanish history, which made it a very enjoyable experience. We were lucky to have a semi-private tour with one other couple, and everyone had a great time. From the spectacular wines to the delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we would definitely recommend to anyone who loves wineries and wants a unique experience in Valencia.

Valerie set up an amazing self guided wine tour in English and a delicious lunch at a restaurant that was way off the beaten path! She was there with other quests but came and made sure we ordered all the right foods! We would highly recommend her to anyone!!

My husband, two friends and I had the total pleasure of taking this day long tour with Paul. There are not enough words to describe how we all felt about this wonderful tour. Paul’s knowledge not only of the wine industry, but of the local history and culture is amazing. His very pleasant personality was a bonus. We did this wine tour as part of a long weekend in Valancia and it was an absolute highlight. Valeria was fantastic and very knowledgeable. It was particularly great to meet the vineyard owners and see the vines where the wine we were drinking came from!

We had a group of 4, it was great to have the group to enjoy the experience with. The winery was so picturesq. We tasted several wines, each nicer than the last, and had an amazing lunch with authentic local foods

Valeria was our guide, and of you can choose, I suggest you choose her. Heart and soul for the tour, she has thought us very useful things in wine tasting. The program was relaxed, yet full. The wines were a delight, yet the restaurant that we went for lunch exceeded our expectations. Our guide had a lot to teach us about the history of the wine, about the quality of the products in the Valencia region, about the people of Spain and so on. Recommend 100%

My husband and I have been on many wine tours, but this experience was the best of them all!! Valeria was an amazing guide who catered to all of our wants and needs. She not only thoroughly explained the history and economics of the Spanish wine industry, but taught us much about the proper tasting and buying of wine. Valeria attended to all of our needs and preferences. Her warm personality and good sense of humor made the day even more special - - and the lunch was tasty and superb.

This is a must do when traveling to Valencia! I can’t wait to come back and do it again. Vineyards were gorgeous, wine was great, and the company was better.

What a great itinerary! My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous day with Trinidad! She is an amazing tour guide with lots of knowledge, excellent English and just an all around wonderful guide. We not only visited two wonderful small wineries, but also had the opportunity to walk around a small village, taste cheeses and meats, and drive on the back roads of a beautiful countryside. We ate lunch in a great little restaurant full of locals. We would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone. We have travelled around the world and have taken many tours with different tour guides. But Trinidad definitely stands out. The wine tour was worth every penny!

I booked in last minutest but they checked availability immediately and came back to me in 20 mins to make sure whether the tour would take place or not due to Christmas weekend. Our tour group was only 5 people so it’s like private one. We visited two different wineries which are totally different taste and local restaurant. Out tour guide, Valeria is very knowledgeable and friendly!!! She looked after us very well. I found she built up a good relationship with people in wineries. For lunch, we had in local restaurant in very small village and enjoyed lovely Valencian tastes. I highly recommend this tour if you want know Valencian wine!!!!
