Pam took us on an excellent 4.5 hr tour of downtown Singapore. We met at the City Hall MRT station and walked to the National Museum where she told us about the history of Singapore, British and Japanese occupation and eventual independence. It was quite warm that day but Pam made sure and took us into air conditioned spaces periodically so we could cool off. A unique aspect of this tour is going to a public housing building (with an amazing 50 story view) and learning about the process of renting/buying the units (fascinating coming from US). The hawker center was fun; the rice was delicious as was the sugar cane juice and pastry. The tea ceremony was a wonderful end to an amazing tour. I learned a lot and had a great time - Pam is an excellent guide!!

Pamela did a fantastic job walking us through the history of the area. The boat tour was a relaxing way to see the various sights from the water. Really enjoyed the hainanese chicken rice and dessert that we tried at the hawker center.

Pamela, our tour guide was awesome! She had a small group but the majority were Spanish speaking. Regardless…this did not deter her.

My daughter and I recently embarked on a 4.5hr walking tour which included a river cruise, dinner at local hawker centre, traditional Chinese tea ceremony as well as visiting number historical and significant buildings plus a public housing apartment block. Prior to us staring we had done a bike tour in the morning and had second thoughts about going as we were so fatigued and it was supremely hot and humid. Typical Singapore weather, but we were feeling it. We both have since said how glad we are that we participated. It was a highlight of our trip! Our tour guide Gee was nothing short of outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and every question (and there were lots) was answered thoroughly and with genuine enthusiasm. He is the embodiment of both professional and yet is genuinely amicable. Nothing felt forced. He genuinely loves his job and Singapore and it shows! He is the best ambassador for both. So my recommendation would be book a tour you won’t be disappointed. We gained so much knowledge we wouldn’t have otherwise learnt and it was an absolute pleasure.

I had a really great time - our guide Gee was so knowledgeable, kind and friendly. The tour itself went to a few places I'd never go on my own, and I learned a lot about the life of an average Singaporean as a result.

Suling was very knowledgeable about the history of Singapore, answering all of our questions. It was the first time we ever had a ceremonial tea demonstration—quite interesting.

If you’re looking for a very full experience and a super healthy walk around town… 10 km which we loved… This is a fantastic tour! Lots of history packed in every corner as we saw the national gallery, Supreme Court building, public housing, bomb, boat ride, and Clark Quay. Excellent

Pamela was very enthusiastic to show us different areas that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. The views!! The pace was great and the river cruise was at the right time to have a rest from walking.

The tour was really fun and interesting! Learned a lot about Singapore's history and culture. Daryl, our tour guide, was very informative and helpful. Love all the spots in the tour! There were lots of views to take pictures as well as to just look at and relax. The waterboat ride was great. I was able to get a taste of the famous hainanese chicken rice which was delicious as well as the refreshing sugar cane drink and pulut hitam dessert at Maxwell food centre. Finishing it off with tea cermony was perfect! I would highly recommend this tour esp. if its your first time to come to Singapore. It's a great experience.

Daryl was pretty good. The tour was rushed at the start - maybe because we asked a lot of questions. His responses were fairly accurate. The river cruise was worthwhile, though it was something that is not limited to the tour (anyone can buy a ticket and the cruise is narrated. Went to a hawker location for chicken rice, but none of the hawkers had any that could be purchased in a reasonable time, so Daryl gave us $10 to buy what we thought looked good. We ordered something that looked good on the photo - the actual dish looked nothing like the picture- no vegetables and the clams that were promentantly displayed were microscopic. Overall - OK, but could have been better. Weather was nice.
