Thank you for a very good tour 😀Khunchanthy was an excellent guide who gave us a great deal of information about Cambodia. He was caring and listened to what the group wanted to do. He had a great sense of humour and his English was very good.

What made this experience one of our best during this trip, was the intimacy that the guide gave use during the day. He drove us to a small fishing village near Sihanoukville where we experienced a Chinese Lunar New Year "brunch" where several families had just returned from a successful night of fishing, and were very happy to have us join them - including the fireworks. The Buddhist temple and how they actually work, very hands on in working with some of the monks, was very spiritual for my wife and I. I even got to enter their "holiest of holies" centre in the temple and got a complete traditional blessing. WE then got to help preparing and saving the lunch meal.

Sath did a great job of showing us the highlights of your beautiful city, the interesting temples and the surrounding countryside.

Sath was our guide when our Riviera cruise ship was in port. He did a very good job of showing us SIHANOUKVILLE. We saw a fishing village, 2 pagodas, the big market, the beaches and other local sites. He was very kind and accommodating. He explained everything well and we enjoyed our hot, humid day with him. He was a very kind person and I appreciated him walking my husband and me around the market while explaining what types of fruits and foods we were seeing. Others in our group were more adventurous and went off looking for bargains—which they found. It was Chinese New Year’s and we were happy that he and the driver were working!!

Mr S, Me P and Me T were excellent, all very friendly, approachable and very knowledgable. They were also very well prepared keeping us supplied with plenty of chilled water and wet wipes. They also knew exactly where to find the western bathrooms that the girls craved. The tour allowed us to get up close to culture, every day life and history. We felt very safe and cared for at all times and would highly recommend this tour to anyone. 10 out 10 for content and delivery.

I highly recommend SPL for this Sihanoukville, Cambodia tour. The tour was spectacular. We didn’t go to places filled with other tour buses. SPL took good care of us on this small group tour. He certainly knows the area and has a solid command of the English language. He enthusiastically shared information about the Cambodian culture and some personal stories. Thank you!

Our guide, Mr Chhum was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. His English was excellent and we all enjoyed his lively sense of humor.

This was a 16 person shore excursion tour. Our guide Tom was excellent - he was knowledgable, interesting and engaged throughout the entire tour, beginning to end. Really enjoyed the trip to the fishing village area to see a part of local life that was unique and something that would have been hard to see on our own. Least enjoyable was the trip to Waterfall; being the dry season, it was not spectacular and not worth the relatively long and bumby ride over an unpaved road to get there. The included lunch was too long.....the restaurant was not equipped to handle the 2 16 person tours that arrived at the same time. Took almost 1.5 hrs, way too long. Overall though, very good excursion.

This trip is ideal to give you a flavour of Cambodia in a day. We saw many aspects of Cambodian life such as fishermen’s houses, Buddhist Temples and even got to eat at a traditional Cambodian restaurant. We also saw some of the local sights such as waterfalls (though they weren’t too spectacular due to a lack of rain for the last few months), giant statues, and the beach. Our tour guide, Tysath, was both interesting and informative. Overall, an excellent experience and one we can recommend.

Mr Chhum made this a 5 star experience and took us for a great lunch. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We had a small group from our ship and everyone enjoyed the day.

We had a very nice guide in Sihanoukville. The driver also was excellent. Their English was oké and they were friendly.

Our tour guide, Thom, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and spoke good English. He was able to explain the significance of the sites we visited and that was all very good. However, there really is not that much that is worth seeing so the tour itself did not offer very much

Our guide Thom was very very good but unfortunately the company didn’t have much for him to work with. There is not much to see on this tour that is extraordinary and as much as he tried, he could not make a silk purse out of a sows ear. We spent 2 hours at lunch but the cause of the restaurant was very worthwhile as it was training at risk youth with skills to survive on their own as many were orphaned. The restaurant was very good! This put us very behind and made our 5.5 hr tour a 7.5hr tour. We spent 1/2 hour each way over a dusty dirt round to get to a waterfall that was hardly running and not worth the trip. We all gave up on our last stop which was the beach as we wanted to get back to the ship. Great guide! Not worthwhile trip. Please give him more to work with

Roam was knowledgeable And Attentive. No problems very timely. Lunch a little to long, but tasty food.

Thom did a great job showing us the sites. Pick up from port was easy and they dropped us off at the ship at the end. Took us to the market and for lunch. It was an interesting visit.

Sath, by far, made the tour an amazing experience. He is so kind and friendly, answering all of our questions and sharing his vast knowledge with us. We learned a lot about Cambodia, the culture, and its people. The morning walk through the village along the waterfront was wonderful. We saw how the fishermen set sail for their weekly fishing trips. Afterward, we made our way to the monastery and received a blessing from the Buddhist monk. The highlight was the Naga Buddha, which is unlike any Buddha statue we’d ever seen before. Brilliant! And not to be outdone was Independence Memorial. Next, we had lunch at a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious. We visited the market after that. And then onward to the waterfall, where locals come to relax with their families. It reminded me a lot of the beaches back home, but with a fresh water stream instead of the ocean. Then, we were heading back to the pier. Sath offered to take us to see more amazing sights, including a walk on the beach, but we were spent by then, so we had to reluctantly decline. But wow! The whole tour from start to finish was wonderful. Thank you to Sath and our driver for a lovely day. Highly recommend.

This was a good tour of Sihanoukville. We met our guide just outside of the cruise port. There were 6 couples on our tour, including me and my wife. We visited the fishing village, two temple sites, the local waterfalls, the beach, a local market and had lunch at an excellent restaurant. I felt this was a good overall survey of the town.

Pros: Our guide Sath was very friendly, kind, and had a great vocabulary! He was so passionate to make sure everyone on the bus could see as much of Cambodia as possible in one day. The driver was a safe driver and great, and we had plenty of cold water. Cons: The tour list description on the Viator site says 5 hours, and I have an email from the tour operator saying it would be 5.5 hours. We made plans for the afternoon and were unable to do them because we were gone over 9 hours. While our guide had an excellent vocabulary, it was challenging to understand his accent. It was nice to see so many places, however, I often didn't know what we were looking at because it was hard to understand what he was saying.

Me. Chhum did an outstanding job showing us the city. His knowledge of the area helped us better understand the places we visited and personalized it more. Went out of his way to adapt our time to maximize our experience. A great way to see Sihanoukville! Definitely recommend if you want a great Tour Guide and itinerary for your visit!

This was an amazing tour. Sath, our tour guide was extremely informative, friendly, and flexible in adapting the tour to our interests. He showed us the "real" Cambodia from impressives temples, to beautiful nature, to the modest lives of Cambodian fishermen.
