While vacationing for the first time in Siesta Key wanted to find something to do. My G/F and I are good kayakers and this seemed to fit the bill. Easy to find launch area. Our guide was very chill and informative. Did a great job leading us to some amazing areas with information about them. Small group was really nice and made it very easy to get from one point to the other. I would recommend.

Kinsley was absolutely knowledgeable about everything we saw around us. He was protective of the marine life. He was funny and engaging during the whole trip!

Patrick led a safe, fun and informative trip through the mangroves. Then got to see dolphins, a manatee and many cormorants. Highly recommend!

Excellent trip! It was our first time with a guided trip in the Siesta area. Previously we have been on tours in the Lido area. Jacob was our tour guide and he was awesome! The area is beautiful and we had an amazing time. Highly recommend to anyone!

We got to see a group of 7 manatees immediately after embarking! Jeff was very knowledgeable and a great guide.

Great kayak experience for all skill levels. Easy to make your reservations through TripAdvisor. Plenty of parking at the beach head where multiple kayak tours set out. Once you get started - you set off in the small intracoastal area - giving your guide the ability to assess your level of kayaking. We had one person with zero experience in our group and Javier gave her great tips and got her confidence up to expert level in no time. The water was calm - we had no problems navigating our way through the mangroves and off to the “secret beach” so we could enjoy the gulf waters. I was a little skeptical about getting out and then back in the kayak at the beach - but again - Javier made it a very easy and seamless process. Ospreys, mullets, manatees, herons and pelicans accompanied our tour. Sadly no dolphins but you never know when they may show up. Great morning kayaking experience.

Took this tour on a whim. Glad I did. Friendly and knowledgeable guide showed a novice kayaker the ropes. Great for beginners, not too strenuous ( people with shoulder or elbow injuries may have trouble paddling a solo kayak). Safe and peaceful. Learned a lot. Easy to book and free parking at a beautiful beach. Manatees swam under our kayaks, just saw bubbles. Lots of native wildlife. Did not see snakes or gators but that's OK. You will get a little wet so bring change of clothes and don't forget sunscreen.

Had a great time!! Javier was our tour guide and he was excellent!! So informative and willing to take our pictures etc. We saw Manatees close up!!! The private beach was beautiful too!!

Wow our tour guide Jacob went above and beyond!!! Awesome experience!! Jacob made sure we got photo opportunities and taught us so much about the local animals and mangroves!

Wonderful time of kayaking! Our guide, Javier, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer our questions and point out lots of neat things. We took our two children (ages 12 & 16) and they also loved it. Javier did a great job interacting with them and making them feel valued on the tour. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys being out in nature!

We had a great tour with Jacob! He shared lots of fun facts with our kids about the local birds and animals. We saw osprey and their nest and looked for manatees. We unfortunately had some low tide by the mangroves which made it hard to explore the tunnels but Jacob was great and adapted as he went to make sure we had a great experience.

Very pleasant and easy going. The stop at the beach to collect shells was a wonderful moment. Beautiful beach, for it was all natural surroundings with no restaurants or structures. Just nature. Javier was a fun and kind mannered guide.

We had such a wonderful time with Javier on the Eco tour. Great laughs and in-depth knowledge of the landscape. It feels incredibly valuable to connect with this beautiful landscape. We enjoyed very-close sights of the Osprey, pelicans, and various fish (slap fish). I can’t recommend enough how valuable it is to enjoy nature on a kayak with an excellent host.

We had a great time with Geoff and Javier as our guides. We learned a lot about the local area and the wildlife. We are glad we did the guided tour! I would recommend this for families.

This company is outstanding and aim to please. The Eco tour is well worth it! I (dad) took my 18 and 16 year old daughters. Our guide was Kelly Rhea, who was AMAZING! Great guy, good stories, very personable, knowledgeable, and guided us from a naturalist point of view which I appreciated. So fun. Highly recommend Kelly. The owner was also VERY helpful with making adjustments with our schedule and party. The tour was just the right amount of time (2hr), great break from the beach, good way to get your arms moving a little, and your head in a relaxed space. I am so glad I booked with Kayaking SRQ, ended up in with Kelly, and made this a part of our family memories. They also provided water, a dry bag for phone and keys no additional charge that was helpful. I ended up taking a bunch of photos of the family.

Jeff was incredibly well-informed and made a genuine effort to interact with his customers. Our experience was truly fantastic, and we are definitely planning to explore the Lido Key kayak tour in the near future.

Our family had a wonderful time with Lewis as our guide. Lewis was a wonderful guide. He pointed out many unique aspects of the local ecosystem like how mangrove trees filter salt water, how mangrove tree seeds come ‘fully ready’ to take root, interesting spiders, conchs, and jumping fish. The water was calm and smooth. The boats were easy to paddle. We even took a walk on a beach with a land tortoise, prickly pear cacti, and sea oats.

We had an amazing time!!! We went with my grandparents and my brother. This is my second time booking with this company but first time on the private tour. It was fantastic! Kinsey was our tour guide and he found so many fun creatures for us to hold and look at as well as educating us on the mangroves and the sea life. 10/10 recommend!!!
