My wife and I had a fantastic wine and cheese tasting experience with the fantastic host, Patrizia. She has a lovely home across from the Cathedral so not only do you get a great food experience you also are in a beautiful area of Palermo. The three white and three red Sicilian wines along with local cheese’s were fantastic. And to make it even better we were able to keep sampling till the bottles were done, good thing we had Uber to take us back to our hotel. The final treat was getting to try her homemade limoncello. We highly recommend Patrizia for all of her cooking and tasting tours.

Beware of Cats in this tour! We paid almost $1,000 for this for 4 of us and showed up to the 17th Century Building... AKA someone's home. There were two cats that we saw, cat hair all over the plates, cheese, and furniture! The host didn't care that two of us were extremely allergic to cats and said we should have advised them when we booked and they asked if we had any FOOD allergies! Didn't know cat was on the list of allergies we'd have to advise on. She asked us multiple times to change our tour time. We booked through Viator and they only refunded us 50%. If you love cats, this is the tour for you!

Amazing night. Snacks and cheeses were great. Plentyyyy of wine so be sure to walk over ha! Worth the money wish I could go again and I don’t really drink wine

One of our favorite experiences of Palermo! It was easy to find, in a convenient location, and the space was so welcoming. The wine and cheese was delicious and the host was wonderful! She was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. 10/10, I would recommend it time and time again...I would even consider going myself for a second time.

We had so much fun! We learned about the wines and were able to enjoy each other’s company. The complimentary cheese tasting helped enjoy the flavors and we even got a bonus taste of her homemade pesto pasta- thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend and do again!

The experience was extremely memorable. We sat at the table with our group of 5 and other group of 5 which created an intimate but Iively crew, and was the perfect number for the experience. We were able to learn about the wines of Sicily and pair it with cheeses that she had recommended. We were plesently surprised by additional dishes that represented Sicilian culture and were delicious, with the whole group buying cookbooks so we can re-create the dishes for our friends and family back home. Highly recommend this experience to all!

The experience was booked and confirmed and the operator did not show up, when we contacted them they informed us that they don't even do the experience on that day and it would not be possible to do the wine and cheese tasting. I'm not sure why viator allowed us to book the experience when it was not even available on that day. We wasted a lot of our time running around getting to the meet point on time and then spent 20mins standing around like idiots for no one. Not impressed.

Our host was extraordinary and the location was cozy, welcoming, and eclectic (and we even got to meet her incredibly approachable cat friends!). The experience was fun and informative, and the wines/cheeses were wonderful! My wife and I love to find gems like this, and we’re looking forward to attending this host/chef’s cooking class as well. Patricia was a wonderful host. Her home is beautiful. She is knowledgeable about wine and her pairings were spot on! She had great cheese and the other dishes she provided were delicious. It was a great introduction to Sicilian wine and local foods. I would love to repeat this event! Highly recommend this adventure!!!

Excellent A++ experience with Patricia. We tasted 6 wines and cheese pairings plus bread, pesto and a dessert. Patricia is very knowledgeable, friendsly, professional and welcomes you in to her home/apartment. Do not hesitate to do this you will be happy you did!!

My friend an I had the best time learning about good Sicilian wines. Our host Patricia was the best. She paired our wines with some wonderful cheeses and even gave us some appetizers which was not part of the deal. The appetizers were delicious. We really enjoyed the experience and it was one of the best things about our trip.

Lovely host who had experienced knowledge of the fine grapes of Sicily, every wine we tasted had unuiqe characteristics and all was superb. She described the taste, taking you on a historical trip through Sicily from the origin of the grapes, through the winemakers journey and finally to the expression of the bottles representing modern or rustic taste. Patrizia and Giuliano are consummate hostesses. Their apartment was beautiful and atmosphere was amazing. This was by far, the best wine tasting experience I’ve ever attended.

This lunchtime wine and cheese tasting tour was the highlight of our stay in Palermo. Patrizia welcomed us into her beautiful home and was so warm and friendly. Without doubt the presentation by Patricia, which was so professional and friendly, was the highlight of the evening. The wine, cheese and desert were all amazing and we had a really good chat with many funny stories thrown in. All round, a thoroughly enjoyable experience which I would recommend to anybody interested in this type of event.

They welcomed us to their beautiful home and we got to try some amazing wine and some typical Sicilian cheeses.
